Plants started growing fast and strong, looking healthy. The Bruce banner show a impressiv potentialI, I cut some leaves to maximize the lateral branchs stretch. I decide to finish the vegetative period with full time light:, 24/24.
Satisfied about this week, plants are growing good and vigorous. I changed the CFL for the TS1000. I care about the root system (piranha from advanced nutrients + root juice) and the watering last week .
All plants are lookin very solid with large base.
Plants looking good. Little size but nice development. Good surprise because the plants stayed all the week behind a window; sunny place but 10h/11h day light. I turned the grow tent’s light off for 7 days.
perfect flowering synchronization even if the strains are different (may be light stress…not sure for autoflower strains)
The 3 plants are resistant and adaptive to the poor conditions of water and light.
Now go back to the artificial light 18h/day.
Specific plant’s character appears for each strains.
The Bruce Banner express her sativa dominance with a vertical stretch and great inter nodal distance.
The Jack does even resemble the Sweet Afgany Delicious (diary 2 westcoastbud) spreading its branches in the form of fir or candelabrum. Good végétal development with just 3.5/4 L pot size.
The Tangerine Dream show Indica specificity: short plant, lot of ramifications and flower sites.
I let the plants outdoor in a green-house for the flowering finish. The flower will not grow anymore, now it’s just a question of maturity before the yield. It’s a occasion to make some place in the grow tent to start news sessions. The Black Jack is clearly the biggest plant with heavy and large flowers. The Bruce Banner will give a little yield but it’s a pretty plant to see. After a good vegetation period the Tangerine Dream didn’t grow so much when she start flowering; the little flowers grow very slowly, but they are compact and smelly.
A plant looking finally good. The size could be certainly more and more big if i would be more experienced and with better stable condition to growing it. The long stretch with a beautiful long top bud reveal a sativa genetic dominance. Flowers have interesting colors mixing light purple and amber. Smell is sweet and complex.
Need to try this strain choosing photopériodic seed, and outdoor or greenhouse to support the stretch of the plant.
This session was a little bit chaotic and this Bruce Banner is a survivor.I didn’t offer the right and stable condition to grow it nice. Changing grow spot to many time, letting the plant behind a window one week, using little smart pot: 7L is to small. Must try with a different composition and bigger volume of soil. Even if Black Jack Auto, the Bruce Banner’s roommate gave an heaviest yield with big pumped buds, growing in the same difficult conditions and in a smaller plastic pot (4.5L)…🤔😵💫
This strain have a good potential, Sweet Seeds create one more time a strain rustic, resistant to stress, diseases, variation of humidity and temperatures.
I will try it one more time using LST method to maximize the flowering.
Now waiting a few weeks for the smoke test😮💨
Black Jack is a really good Sweet Seeds idea. This strong generous hybrid look like an high-vitamin old school strain, a 1st Class cross ; thanks to his famous parents who give a strain robust and performant, producing lot of heavy and gorgeous flowers
The good surprise of this winter session. I didn’t care a lot of the plant, choosing to grow it at the last minute in a little plastic pot with not the best quality of soil. The plant was exposed, like the other 3, to stress temperature, light….finally it was the best concrete result. Since the first day Black Jack never stopped growing, enlarging, flowering, pumping. It’s a rustic, robust and powerful strain. I will testing it soon….
