@exclusiveX420,
Thank you for all of that info! I'm hoping I find dry trimming easier. Wet trimming is an epic mess, and makes for a long day. Just chopping the plants, pruning off the larger fan leaves, and cleaning my gear was nice.
We had high humidity up until a few days ago and I was running a dehumidifier to keep it down. However, the temps of dropped and so has the humidity. I've been sitting at 50% for the last couple days. I do not currently have access to a humidifier.
Grove Bags is new to me. I've been Jar curing since I started growing, but this is only my 6th grow. However, my last grow I did implement the cheap hygrometers so I'm good to go there. I also have Boveda packs on stand-bye. My last grow I wet trimmed and think I dried for ~7 days. when they went into the jar they couldn't go above 50% for over 48 hours so that was also my first time buying Boveda packs. I then thought to myself my other 4 grows before that I probably did a bad job curing. Because I had over-dried on my last grow, I thought doing a whole hang would help me not over-dry again. I feel like the "snap" check with branches isn't exactly correct (small branch will snap when bent but not break), or I'm doing something wrong. I think I've been over drying my harvests every time. This last harvest I documented on this site was the wake up call. I will say the last time I grew before the Liberty Haze last year was in 2013....so I think I've missed a few things and am playing catch-up on all the new information (or maybe just more available and documented).
Have you partook of this strain before? I can't really find any reviews. I think the healthy plant I've labeled as "happy" is the auto melon pheno and the "sad" is the sour diesel pheno. They distinctly smell different. I was wondering what your thoughts were?
I think so far, especially how the melon pheno is just dripping in trichomes and smells fruity, it's been a really solid plant. I mean this is my first time in this new room I setup, new nutrients, first time with auto's, and I couldn't be more pleased. It could have gone a whole hell of a lot worse. I think I did cause some issues with early root rot due to light leaks in the reservoir. I also used too much nutrients against things I'd read and clearly burned the plant. I also need to learn how to use the light with auto's so I don't burn them. I think I could have gotten a better yield, but it's certainly not nothing.
