Hello once again and sorry for the missing weeks of germination and vegetative growth Four weeks ago, at christmas eve, to be exact i started this jurney by germinating 10 seeds from Barney's Farm, after a week or so i was left with five healthy little plants, i topped them last week (week 3) This week i transplanted them from 1.7l into 5l pot's using following mixture: 65% All Mix 20% Coco Mix 10% Vermiculite 5% Worm Humus After transplant i watered the plants with a solution containing 4ml of Root Juice for every liter of water - to promote quick root growth. Next up was LST, i started to pull down the little branches to get a bushier plant and a more spread out and even canopy Last thing i did was spraying Alg-a-mic (2ml for 1 liter of water) to reduce the transplanting shock/stress. Four plants are the perfect number for my setup and growing method so i always try to have at least six plants from wich i can pick out my favorites. That doesn't always work's like expected, specially when starting from seed.. this time i did not keep all the six plants that germinated as one of them was very deformed. Soon i am gonna pick a mother and flower the remaining four. That's it for today beautiful people! Peace ,✌️

Today is day 40 of this grow, the plants are growing quickly, a few roots already made their way to the bottom of the 5l pots. The conditions are not the best i have to admit, the temperatures are always at least 5°C below optimal, because i don't wanna use a heating device i am keeping the light on 24/7 until flowering. Since temperatures are getting warmer i expect to be around optimal 🌡️ in about a month, that should be morless the time the plants are ready for flowering. As i have noticed some dry tips on older fanleaves i decided to water with plain water today (first watering since last visit) 2l for each plant to make sure there is a little runoff as i am a little worried bout them spots (probably too much nitrogen - may be from Worm Humus i added to the substrate or from the foliar feed i gave them past week) most times a little flush does the job I topped the plant on the last foto with only 3 branches (that branch never showed) probably i won't select her for the grow, i'm gonna keep the strongest four plants for that purpose 🤔 maybe i should have topped the others too? Gonna reflect on that.. Since i am gonna make a ScrOG i wanna keep plants low but a few branches more will be useful later on. Next update this weekend Keep growing! 🌱

Welcome to my last updates! Day 43: On today's pictures you can see that the tips of some big fanleaves dried out, almost certainly caused from a nitrogen overdose or to be more exact too much wurm humus in the substrate. Hope i will solve this problem watering with plain water (some runoff) during this week, at least Other than that the plants look pretty good. Very robust - that turns it almost impossible to bend the short branches, still i was able to train them a little further.. I topped all of the branches leaving two internodes with fan leaves but only two sprouts so growth is focused on eight tips but has a few more leaves on it. there was no need for watering. Good root density on the bottom of all five pot's. Day 47: Today the plants were looking great, they were pretty dry since last watering was four days ago. I watered every plant with a liter of water each containing 2ml of Bio Heaven and 2ml of Acti-Vera. Im not using FishMix and BioGrow at this point because plants have just recovered from overfertilization. LST is not easy on this plants, the branches are so short (due to topping) and strong due to vigurous growth, although i think i did a nice job today, at least i didn't snap off any branches, check out the last picture, isn't she 🌱 a beauty? I installed a 1,2m Greenhouse Heating tube (to see on the pictures) in the attempt to bring up day temperatures around 5°C and night temperatures around 10°C, i will try to do this using a timer - ON during the whole night, 15min ON 15min OFF during day. Not sure yet if it works but it will definitely bring up temperatures in that tent 🔥🔥🔥 This weekend i will transplant four of the five plants (plant #5 didn't make the cut) into 26.6l fabric pot's (PurePot's), so next update soon.. Hope to see you round! Peace! ✌️

Hello all! There is surely no correct answer for this question, i would just like to know what you (experienced growers) think is the best way to prepare (train) your plants for a ScrOG

Top at second node, and then HST the shit out of it for the entire veg, just keep opening it. Not LST, HST with lots of supercropping to shoot those auxins to the tops. No structure required, just open. If running a single stage net, put it on the canopy day one of 12/12 and let the tops grow into the net. Move your tops every day for 20 days or until the stretch completes. Then just wait her out. Always be lollipooping as to remove the threat of excess larf and for ease of airflow. Fan under the net, fan over -BudXs

Day 49: Today i transplanted the four ladies into 26.6 liter fabric pot's (PurePot's) using following soil mixture; 75l All Mix 15l Coco Mix 22,5l Vermiculite I took off a few fanleaves and tried to bend down all the branches, on Plants #1 and #4 i had to do some supercropping to achieve that goal. Afterwards i watered every plant with 5 liters of following mixture; 20l of water 80ml of Root Juice 40ml of Bio Heaven 40ml of Acti-Vera Day 54: Today i took off a few fanleaves and tied down all the branches (8 on each plant) plant #1 suffered a little damage in form of a broken branch that i tied back together, it's snaped half way but since it didn't die off until now i guess it will get stronger.. No watering today as the pot's still feel pretty heavy. That's about it for today.. Stay tuned for more updates ✌️

Hello again Day 57: The plants are looking great, ready for some more love (LST) and a good watering (8 days after transplant), today their meal is as following: - 20l Water (5l each plant) - 60ml Root Juice - 15ml Fish Mix - 30ml Bio Heaven - 30ml Acti-Vera I would say one to two more weeks of veg and the plants will be covering the whole area and therefore be ready for the flip During this week i will install a trellis net - after that step it will be almost impossible to move the plants. Therefore i optimized my system to make it easier to flush once that time will come..i did that in a low cost way, only bought two seals and a meter of hose. The whole platform (pallet) was lifted about 10cm allowing me to put two trays (20l containers from garbage cut in half) uderneath to collect the runoff water from the big trays above where the plants sit in. It does not seem like a big thing but it allows you to carry away your runoff without a lot of work or a pump. I have done that manually with a little hand pump until today and that is a pain in the ass! Day 61: The plants have grown a lot during the last four days, as it is getting tricky to tie down the big branches i installed a ScrOG net. I also took off a few fanleaves and Supercropped most of the higher branches on all the four plants. Finally i watered the plants following strictly the Biobizz Nutrient Scedual, that is: - 20l Water (5l each plant) - 20ml Fish Mix - 40ml Bio Heaven - 40ml Acti-Vera Stay tuned for the next update.. Have a good one ✌️

Day 64: The plants are growing at a fast pace and look very happy with what they are being fed so i will stick with that recipe until i flip to 12/12. Think that will be in about 10 days. Today i supercropped every single branch of every plant, took off some fanleafes as usual and watered with following solution: 16l water (4l each plant) 16ml Fish Mix 32ml Bio Heaven 32ml Acti-Vera I will continue to make two weekly updates (on Wednesday's and Saturday's) so drive by and check the 🍌🌳 development. Peace, health and happy growing!

Hello! Day 71: Today i took off a big number of fanleafes and continued supercropping all the branches spreading them out as good as possible. I watered with 20l of water containing 10ml of Fish mix, 40ml of Bio Heaven and 40ml od Acti-Vera. Day 75 and the plants look fabulous..a few more days and they get punched into flower cycle. Only a few more gaps in the trellis i wanna fill out. Today i started to clean the ladies underneath and i am continuing to supercrop the branches every few days. No water today.. Oh, yeah, i was able to take off 4 to 5 clones of every plant as there were lower branches i had to take off. Day 78: Today i prepared the plants for the switch. A lot of defoliation, or should i say lollopopping going on, also i tried once again to spread out all the branches as good as possible recuring to thr supercropping tecnique in some cases. I watered the plants that are consuming 5l of water every two days at this point (Until now i have been watering 5l every 3days) *Plant #2 is recieving a little less, today only 3l This is the Solution i am using @ this point and that i will be using throuought at least the first four weeks of flowering: 20l Water 20ml Bio Grow 20ml Bio Bloom 20ml Top Max 40ml Bio Heaven 40ml Acti-Vera Today i also did a foliar feeding with Alg-A-Mic as today was probably the most stressful day in those plants life and i want them to recover quickly. See you soon, ☮️✌️

Day85 / Day 6 (Week 1) of Flowering Noy much to say, same precidure as every visit.. always moreless the same.. watered the plants and did what was hopefully the last big defoliation and cleanup. Oh, and i put up a second trellis, helped a lot organizing everything and will give support later on.. Todays Solution: 20l Water 20ml Bio Grow 20ml Bio Bloom 20ml Top Max 40ml Bio Heaven 40ml Acti Vera Five liters each plant in exeption of plant #2 that is smaller and drinking less, she got nothing at all as i want her to catch up with the others for next watering, shell be fine. That was it for this week, have a good one! Peace ✌️

Day 91 / Day 12 (Week 2) of Flowering The plants have grown into a dense canopy, the strech has been huge since last time i took pictures (6 days ago). Had to adjust the light as the plants have gained about 10 cm in height. There is not much to do at this point but let the plants grow. Took off a few sprouts and leaves and watered with the following solution: 20l Water 20ml Bio Grow 20ml Bio Bloom 20ml Top Max 40ml Bio Heaven 40ml Acti Vera Five liters each plant in exeption of plant #2 that is smaller and drinking less, she got only 5 liters.

Day 122 / Week 7 of Flo: Since the colour of the fanleaves is fading away pretty quickly, i decided to add in a little nitrogen (in form of BioGrow). I havent been feeding any nitrogen since the beginning of the 5th Week of Flowering. Only the little that is in BioBloom, that is only 2% The complete solution i used is following: 16l Water (4 each plant) 8ml Bio Grow 48 ml Bio Bloom 16ml TopMax 48ml BioHeaven 48ml ActiVera Day 125 / Week 7 of Flo: I am not adding any more nutrients at this stage and i started watering every plant with 2,5l of water every two days as their demand is not that high anymore and i wanna keep humidity down to a minimum to prevent bud rot. To give you an idea in early Flowering i was watering every plant with 5-6l every 3 day's, from 5th week on i was giving them 4l every 3 days and now only 2,5l. As two of the plants (Plant #2 and Plant #4) are starting to look like they are close (about 10-12 days) to harvest i am considering to flush them one of the next days. The other two plants (Plant #1 and Plant #3) seem to be of the same phenotype and look like they can take a few days more, let's see.. Also they grew bigger and stretched more in flowering then the other two, maybe a little more sativa genes.. Day 127 / Week 7 of Flowering: Today i flushed plant #2 (back left) and plant #4 (front right) with 20l of fresh water 💦 from the well. Plants #1 and #3 are recieving 2,5l of plain water every second day for a few more days. Soon i will flush them too.

Day 130 / Week 8 of flowering: @ this point can clearly identify 3 different phenotypes in this grow.. one of them; plant #1 and #3 seem to be both pretty similar also regarding their maturation, they are about a week behind the other two plants. Plants #2 and #4 are both looking like they will get ready next week or so.. i have already flushed those two ladies. Still there is a huge difference in plant and bud structure and when i touch them i can identify two completely different terpene profiles. Plant #2 was always the smallest of the pack, very bushy, somehow i didn't like her as much as the others.. but i had that feeling that that could change at any time..and so it came that she turned out to be my favorite. As soon as she was starting fo flower i could see her real potential, the buds she is carring are just how i like them to be and the smell she gives off is citric skunky. Plant #3 on the other hand has a sweet berry flavour combined with the stinch of a stinkbug. Day 132 / Week 8 of flowering: Today i flushed plants #1 and # 3 withe 20l water each. I removed two buds that had bud rot Day 134 / Week 8 of Flowering: Today i cut down plant #4 that was several days ahead of all the others, she's been flushed and has been drying out since, she was literally drying, not only the soil. The harvest looks pretty decent, i will update as soon as i have the dry weight and now.some more.about flavours and high of the plant. The remaining 3 plants received 2l of water each, just to hold on for a few more days..next plant to come down is plant #2, the other two can take about a week longer judging by the big amount of pistils that are still white (around 70%).

Looks nice mate, but why do u need those "big" plants? I dont rly see the benefit. I harvest ~1 g/w and i only have small lay down plants. The only benefit for u is probably that u will have a bit bigger buds but the totall amount of budd wont be that much higher, the veg stage will! I will only veg for about 4 weeks. If that doesnt fill the net, just put more plants :D. Also, if u make 4 main branches you will see that tyou dont need to let the plant be that big, it will just grow horizontal and every bud gets their light

@HolyHerbs, @HolyHerbs, hey, like i said, i am considering giving it a try with a few more plants (clones). You made me think (calculate)! 🤔 Well, there are up and downsides in both ways that's 4 sure.. if you check my previous diaries you will see i dont leave any larv on my plants, only top buds, very quick to trim. Im talking with you in a good way, its just an exchange of ideas, i'm not angry bout your criticism bro, i got your idea completely and i think its good you mentioned it here.. Peace ✌️
HolyHerbs
HolyHerbscommented3 years ago
@Fayah_Burn, Yes both possible but for me its a lot easier to get 1 g/w in 54 days while its not that easy (training/defoliating/lollipopping) to get 1,2 g/w with 3 extra weeks veg I need more work in the back of the tent, i need more cutting the leafs from the buds when harvesting. There are more small buds and also a few more big buds probably. I rather have a more constant flow of uniform buds. Also less risk cus its illegal where i do it. Anyway, idk why i started all of this chat with you lol.. have a good one

Hey Fayah_burn, I love to see you lifting up your plants from the ground. Many growers don't do this but everyone should. By doing this your plant get warmer soil with is in my opinion beneficial. Also you can catch up some leaking water and remove it or let the plants re-use it :) And even flushing your plants will be more easyer if you also use a submersible pump to pump the run-off away.

@GanjaReaper, hey man! Yeah, like you said.. i've started to do this because flushing a ScrOG is a pain in the ass. This way i can collect the runoff very easily, also it makes it much easier to work on the plants. Don't know how others flush a ScrOG but for me this is the way..You are the first one commenting that situation..😉 Have a good week 👊✌️

@MICDeSkunk, Hey bro, sorry for the delay, havn't been round here much lately. I would say it's around 35cm, judging by the light that is sitting 50cm above canopy level. Happy growing! 👊

@MICDeSkunk, I'd say around 35cm, lamp is hanging 50cm over the canopy..
