Hello Diary.
The fourth week of flowering is over, Sweet Skunk looks already quite mature.
Over the next week I will start monitoring the trichomes under a microscope to see if the harvest is approaching.
The reason why individual leaves have become more yellowish is probably a lack of nitrogen.
But otherwise the plants are beautifully shaped, I love that original shape of the plant.
The flowers are hard and compact and the scent is already quite intense. Sweet Skunk # 1 grew 51 cm while Sweet Skunk # 2 grew only 41 cm.
These are definitely the lowest plants on the farm so far, they are ideal for those who lack space. I personally wish they were some 20-30cm taller but ok.
Their roommate Blue Cheese is similar in height to them so this is a good thing considering the position and height of the lights.
Conditions on the farm are excellent for this phase, the humidity is low, about 40% and even lower while the temperature is about 24 degrees.
Watering is as before, every four days. I added one Easy Bloom Booster tablet this week and I don’t think I’m going to add anything more until the end.
Here’s what it looked like last week.
28/01/2022 - Day 45.
Watering. In 7 liters of water I added one Easy Bloom Booster tablet and p.H. I regulated on 6.3
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 24.1 degrees and 38% humidity.
31/01/2022 - Day 48.
Watering. p.H I lowered to 6.2 and with 7 liters of water I evenly watered all three plants.
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 24 degrees and 39% humidity.
01/02/2022 - Day 49.
Photography. I have been photographing the last weeks of flowering on a black background, their beauty is much better.
That’s all for this week, see you soon and thank you all for your support and advice.
@ButterfliesLittleFarm your plant has used up all of the available Nitrogen so it is now cannibalising the leaves
to get what it needs .
Despite the misinformation on the Internet your plants DO require nitrogen throughout the entire growing cycle
Again, so refreshing to see your great photos; I might have to rethink using my iPhone, focussing alone is a nightmare with young plants.
All the best with your little Lady & happy growing!
Some plant eat more than othere I think a good bloom fertilizer is all you need flush to reset root bio mass might not be a bad idea but for most part they look great
