Fastbuds Green Crack Auto seeds placed in glass of water for 24 hours then in cotton pads and plates for and other 24 hours until they sprouted.
Sowed in the final medium, a 12 L fabric pot with 80% Plagron Lite mix and 20% Perlite
60 hours later the little girls sprout to life

Both seeds sprouted successfully :) and we are off for grow #3

All going well on day 4. I Spray water around the seedling to make sure the roots stretch out.

Watered them some power roots and pure zym on the start of week 2. Girls looking fine.
Day 11
Girls looking great on day 11. Soil is still a little moist so I will leave watering till tomorrow.
Day 12
Watered the girls with power roots and pure zym for sustained root development.
Day 15
Ladies still moist so I’m going to wait a couple of more days for their first feed with nutes. Both doing well under the viparspectra 450w veg switch on.
Day 17
Watered today - Both ladies seem to be doing fine on their 17th day from seed. I gave them again power roots with their feed, and one plant i gave her also some grow while the other I haven’t. Let’s see if it makes a difference.
Day 19
Ladies doing great today. Soil still moist so no need to worry about watering. Waiting a couple of more days to perform the first LST in plan.
Day 20
Today I performed LST and one of them snapped in half from the middle of the main stem between node 2 and 3 ⚠️ I must have killed it on at least jeopardized the yield🤬BUT this is a journey ... a learning curve and the lesson hopefully was learned. I still fixed the two parts of the stem back together and tied them as I could. Will it survive ?
Day 21
End of week 3 and I’m happy to report that after yesterday’s mishap the girl today is feeling better and seems to be recovering well 💚
While performing LST i snapped the main stem completely between node 2 and 3. I fixed the two parts together again and used a plastic tube and plant tie to secure it back. It seems to be holding well. Did this ever happen to anyone on an auto ? Will it survive ?
Not on autos but on photos ive re attached main branches that snapped clean off and repaired split main stems from too harsh LST.. and ive always used some kind of tape, anything from plumbers silicone tape, to duct tape and even mesh tiling tape. The common theme is you need to wrap the damages area WELL and not move the damaged area for a few weeks. Pretty sure this will badly stunt the Autoflower as it heals the damage instead of growing but If you got others going its maybe worth letting it go as an experiment to see how your patching job works out, use it as a learning experience. But if its the only plant you have or one of only 2, and you NEED it to produce a half decent yield then id prob cut my losses and sprout another seed while you watch this one for a week and then move the seed in and this one to the bin.
Day 22
The patch fix on the broken main stem seems to have worked and she is recovering well. The other lady is also taking shape after the LST. After the disappointment of the snap came the happiness to understand the girls can handle it 💚
Day 27
Watered the ladies today as they where very thirsty. Started some very light grow nutes. Both girls seem to have been stunned from the LST / HST but slowly coming out of it hopefully stronger.
Day 30
Ladies started to stretch however they both remained on the shorter side till now.
Day 33
They started pre flowering and continued with the stretch. Been watering them every 4 - 5 days but now they need more. Will start watering every 2 - 3 days from now on.
Day 36
Girls looking good and switched to flowering mode. Finding them a little taller each day :)
Day 38
Switched on to bloom nutes and gave them a feed each
Day 40
Placed the little ladies in my other tent. All looking good for day 40. Got some rust spots on some leaves but they don’t worry me much.
Day 48
All is going well on Day 48. Both plants looking healthy and flowering well. The genetics state the plants will remain small and these ones did just that ... they are not more than 60cm high.
Day 50
Comparing with my other grows, this grow is taking no maintenance at all. Be it that in soiless I have to water every other day and in soil I am watering every 4-5 days so that makes sense. The girls are developing flowers :) won’t yield much when compared with the gelato autos I just harvested last week but the strain is meant to be smaller so nothing wrong there.
Day 56
Last day of week 8 and both plants have been gaining trichomes and bud during the past days. Some pistols have started to turn yellow and buds have beautiful colours of green / yellow and orange.
Day 58
Going in their 9th week, the finish line is very close. They have been building up buds and trichs during the past days. Checked the trichomes and they are starting to get milky.
Day 61
Ladies still putting on weight :) - Water and feed today
Day 63
Had a good look at trichomes and they still seem to need some more days to ripen up just right. Last Day of Week 9 today, will see what week 10 will bring.
Day 64 and the start of WEEK 10
These green crack autos go on automatic gear and need very little maintenance. Checking Trichomes every couple of days and it seems they will be going further.
Day 66
Still building up bud .... waiting for the right day to harvest these green babes
Day 68
Took out 90% of their fan leaves in preparation for harvest. Some Amber trichomes visible so they are nearly there 😍
From seed to harvest in 71 days! Green Crack Autos from fastbuds have produced dense buds in green, yellow and orange and with an intense smell of Mangos and Lemons.
Now off to drying and curing
