We've got another successful BanDad clone to track! Finished hardening off last week and is now chugging along. For all intents and purposes, we'll consider this day 8 of veg. Plan is to top her right after I post this and clean her lower nodes as well. Though she would be a great candidate for LST, I think I'll top her just for that extra bit of control. I don't mind a 3 day delay.
The compost tea I will be using will remain the same throughout her grow cycle. And the ingredients are as follows:
3 gal water in a bucket (warm)
*wet ammendments I pre-desolve in the bucket
5ml/gal(15ml) blackstrap molasses
5ml/gal(15ml) Blue Planet Nutrients Liquid Seaweed
*dry ammendments are paired with soil in a cheesecloth 'tea' bag
1 cup mixed outdoor local soil and reused Promix HP
1tbsp/gal(45ml) Aurora Innovations Terp Tea Bloom
1tbsp total(15ml) Aurora Innovations Terp Tea Grow
1tsp total(5ml) Real Growers Recharge
It's an all-purpose formula I'm testing. I basically just modified Cali Green's compost tea technique. And used whatever was available to me. So all props to him for the awesome idea!
All of my banana daddy clones are coming along great, this girl is no exception! I defoliated her slightly, removing her oldest fan leaves. Then I got her started on ph perfect trio for feeding, along with hyshield, hygrozyme, and her usual compost tea feedings.
First things first, hit it with a transplant last week! She adjusted in about a day. And this plant's been loving the feedings, much like the other girls. I'll make sure to tie it down starting this week. I've decided not to top the bandad plants any further. Instead, I'll opt for just LST and defoliation.
The mother of these clones will be finished in 2-3 weeks. I'm planning to let her go til the latter end, just to make sure these clones get solid vegetative growth. And with whichever ones I put into the 3x6, I'll make sure to keep the tent 18/6 for at least two weeks. I'm thinking that'll allow them to adjust to the lights, and get a decent bit of extra veg growth - hopefully really fill out the tent.
Cheers growmies - hope you all have a dope evening! 😶🌫️😎
One of these plants needs to be moves outside soon. Just too crowded in the veg tent. This girl is looking like a great spread so far. Might just use it as a new mother. Idk yet though.
Loving the way these plants look. Eben the clones are kicking ass. Which makes me really happy knowing I'll have a quick turn-around.
Cheers everyone 👍🏾 😁
Yet another happy banana dad clone. Hit her with a transplant today, pulled two clones off of her. Other than that I haven't done much to her in the way of training. Just letting it do it's thing. I did, however, add Fox Farm Grow Big to the feed schedule. Seems to work great alongside ph perfect trio just in case anyone were curious.
This is turning into more of a hybrid grow, I'm using both synthetics and organics together. Is there a term for this? Seriously not mad at the results and I want to look into this more.
Anyways, cheers Growmies! 😶🌫️😎

This girl is going wild now. It's of utmost importance I get her under control, though. She's quickly out-growing the other banana daddy girls. So I may hit her with a round of topping, as I'm also not too excited about her top count thus far. I also added a very wide mesh scrog( thanks a/c infinity =.=). But everything else about her is awesome. Color, scent, sturdiness. Loving these clones so much! I'm definitely doing a much better job with them than the mom!
Got her and the rest of the plants started on the compost tea again. I've found its especially good with clones and seedlings. That plus hyshield and hygrozyme bring their rigidity to the next level! But much of the same stuff. I'll be flipping the whole batch of girls 5-7 days from now. Til then I'm thinking of giving them one last round of defoliation. I'll also flush them as well during the next watering.
Just been doing a bit of leaf tucking here and there until they all reach the trellis. Loving the look of them all every time I check the tent! Steady progress 💪
Cheers growmies!

Did quite a bit of lollipopping and defoliation since the last update. I tried to not be too crazy with it, leaving plenty of fan leaves and lower bud sites that could receive cross-lighting from both of the LEDs. And that will likely conclude the training for these girls.
Things are coming along really well. Full-strength bloom nutrients and their last veg nute feeding was sometime last week at half strength. I feel the need to mention it since I skipped last week's update. I may end up removing the scrog lol. I don't think these plants will stretch enough to reach it. It will be more of a hindrance than anything. I'll probably try the technique again on my sweet zombie since it will have plenty of foliage to work with. Not to also mention it seems to stretch alot even in veg.
Cheers everyone!

All is going according to plan ;)
Only issue is the scrog net which I may or may not take down. Serves no function in this grow lol.
We are going into week 3 of flower. I plan on feeding full strength bloom nutes until week 5/6. I'll then transition into only compost tea and overdrive until week 7/8 when I flush. So this is the game plan so far. It may or may not change depending on how urgently I need the bud haha. Got quite a decent bit stored from the last successful grows so I SHOULD be good, but ya never know!
Cheers everyone!!
