Both freedom of seeds banana dance seeds popped in less than 24 hours and are looking great but we have not been so lucky with 710 Mango. Of 3 only one popped normally. 1 was a complete dud and one never shed its seed. After almost 2 weeks i did surgery on it to get it off. It's still in dirt but I don't expect much from it. I want a full tent so I have another Banana Dance germing now.
Little lady in the front is a week behind we popped her because there was one Mango that just wasn't going to shed it's seed so i did surgery to get it off and I wasn't sure it was going to do much after that but that ones starting to do something too so in total we now have 3 Banana Dance ladies and 2 mango ladies. The one i had to remove the seed from will go in a 3 gal pot because this is gonna be one full 3 x 3 :)
The ladies wanted a lower ph so I gave it to them. They seem much happier and on the mend. Started lst on the tallest one. The rest are catching up and will be bent over soon then topped soon after that.
I screwed up my documentation so I'm going back and guessing on when the pics were taken to try and fix my weeks. we're currently actually in week 6 from seed for 4 ladies and week 4 for another.
What a busy week these ladies have had. Flipped the lights. trying out darkness during the day this time to help control temps as we get warmer. They've absolutely blown up and there is zero space left. I knew this was going to be an issue with the late addition seed. One lady has 4 runaway tops that will not stop stretching so I bent her over again. In just one day she stretched over 6 inches and was touching the light and got burned a little. Hope that one ok. They have pubes appearing everywhere. We are on our way to the promise land I just hope I can control the humidity well enough in flower.
It's really really full in the tent but I knew this was going to happen. Even still were doing pretty well. Can't seem to feed them enough but budding up nice.. Smells like mangos and bananas 100%. one of the Banana Dances has a slight spice smell undertone too almost like black pepper.
Getting chunky.. front left is definitely doing some weird foxtailing but if it ever fills out the main cola which is bent over parallel to the light will be the size of a thigh.
It is time! The last 4 feedings and been only water and we have a rather nice fade going on IMHO. The pictures do not do these ladies justice at all. They are so sexy. The center mango plants main cola has broken under its own weight and many others have fallen over. I have a lot of trimming in my near future but I'm so excited to get these in jars. Iced up and lights out. Next time you see them they will be hanging. Next up we are crossing the previous grow ( Stardawg auto ) with G13's Auto Berry. Stay tuned.
It kind of sucks that I accidentally super cropped one of the bananas right after it started to flower which made it super larfy but it's still super resinous so it will make great hash. Overall this strain seems extremely stable and consistent and grew great. Bud formations were chunky and dense and yields were also consistent. Would've had better yield with one less plant in the tent but hey I still have more seeds. Will post a smoke review after a few weeks in jars. Weight listed is dry weight..what's the point of even weighing wet?
