Time to Rotate the stock, Do you have any old beans lying around? you know the ones way at the back of your seed stash. I do. unless you got them for free these little darlings are investments that are not giving you the strain that you were so eager to seek out. I have a bad habit of getting them on an impulse but and then they sit. well now that conditions are right, and all the jars are empty it's time to put in the work. I had 3 duds one I could not fit in the diary dur to the 8 maximum strains, one was a Pineapple haze the other two were the Moby dick and the zkittles they were knocking on 4 years old from time of purchase, how old they were to begin with is unknown. the others did pop and i am putting in a auto from fast buds as the others are about 2 weeks ahead so they should finish at the same time I hope other that the auto the rest are sativa dominate strains and I am willing to go 12 weeks of flower on these as my last grow of Strawberry ice and Blue Dream haze could have gone another 2-3 weeks, so I am committed to the long haul on this grow. If you happen to follow me I am that guy who takes one for team in that I try something new each grow. It is either new nutrients or grow media or light schedule. as I like to experiment until I find that ah ha moment, and I get to share my success and failures with the tribe.
solo cups for now the mix. a scaled down version of what I'm going to whip up for the 5-gallon pots. It has been very dry here lately RH in the high 20's to 30's temps are a steady 70-75 so i domed the littles ladies for the first two weeks and have been misting them daily the dome seemed to help with the low RH not at 50 where i would like it, if I can get the next 2 weeks dialed in i will trans lant to the 5-gallon fabric pots. I am going to make a super coco mix not as involved as Sub Cools recipe but my own take on it as I want to use up all the sample nutrients and substrate I have laying around.
I will share my mix and measurements next week; I would encourage you to try this yourself do some research and find a blend that works for your favorite genetics and strains. until then do something nice for someone and stay lifted.

recipe is for 5-gallons, I made 25 gallons of this mix. I will feed the Copious Coco with a CALMAG and Mammoth P
during regular waterings and when the transition hits I will top dress with the bloom and worm castings. week one or true flower I will hit it with an organic bloom booster feeding. high in P K then just water till harvest,
I hope to see the color fade, I want to try to purple up a plant with the ice water treatment as well, so a lot of side quests going on in this grow. that's all for this week. let me know what you think.
WEEK 3 VEG CHUGING ALONG. I AM SO GLAD THE SMOOTHIE AUTO POPPED. THE 3 BIG ONE WILL GET A NEW HOME IN 2 DAYS GOING RIGHT TO 5 GALLON FABRIC POTS. ALL I FEED THEM IS BABY FOOD PLUS THE FOOD IN THE COCO, NO SIGNS OF BURNS OR TOXICITY SO WE SHOIULD BE GOOD,
I WILL REAMEND THE 5 GALLON POTS WITH MORE THAN THE INITIAL DRY FOOD.
I THINK IT SHOULD BE 4 TBS PER GALLON NOT PER 5 GALLON SO I AM LIGHT 3/4 OF A CUP PER 5 GALLON POT. THAT SHOULD TAKE THEM TO PREFLOWER, THEN REAMENT WITH A PK BOOSTER UNTILL FLOWER.
SO ONCE IN 5 GALLONS I WILL SET UP THE TIMELAPSE CAM AND START SHARING THOSE WEEKLY, i AM HAPPY TO HAVE THE DULE MARS HYDRO TLS 2000'S IN THE TENT NO MORE BLURPLE COLOR.

hello there, now they are in there are in their final homes 5-gallon fabric pots with the extra amendments. this should take them to transition in 3 weeks or so I will see what the plants are telling me. right now, it's all about the root ball getting it to spread out to the bottom of the pot.
I watered underneath let it wick up from the bottom and gave them a good drink with some CAL MAG. I am going to set up the time lapse for the next weeks all looks well for now,
Thanks for stopping by. This week on the garden we did a little Maintenace topping last week and this week some defoliation on the bottom nodes. the media is really holding on to the water well, I have been testing the pots by lifting them over the week and they have been heavy with a wet bottom. no sign of nutrient burn with theses slow-release nutrients. I watered till run off and the PPM was 2000+ so no more additives for the next 2 weeks the PH was 7.2 on the drainage, I am going to PH Down my water on the next waterings to 6 so that the root zone will be able to up take the food faster. I think this is why they are not growing as tall as I would like. I have the lights are at 100% ay 24" away and waiting for them to recover another week before their last topping. week 6 should be the last week of veg and then I'll flip them to flower.
I had some issues with my timelapse video so I will hopefully have one on week 6 of two weeks of growth. till then stay lifted and do something nice for someone, just because.
Hello again and welcome back, Week 6 of veg and the second topping has been completed. the Jack Herer was the best looking one in week 5 it went sideways on me. I think it was a combination of too much light and too much water as I soaked the hell out of the ladies with 7.0 rainwater. the other 5 seem to have no problem with the irrigation and the light intensity. I have a theory that the roots might have hit a concentrated pocket of nutrients in the soil. just a theory on my end. no signs of hunger from them, I am going to flip them on Sunday to 12/12 I wonder if the soil will have enough food to carry them into flower or should I add a PK top dressing when I flip them. any super soil users out there care to leave a comment please do as this is a new method for me. thanks and stay lifted.
week one of flower looks cool so far no problems with the feeding just used CAL MAG and Mammoth p in the watering the media is holding the water for at least 4 days. going to use the auto flower as a gage for the flowering bump if it needs one.
welcome back week 2 just ended of flower / transition I gave them a little PK boost last week to see if I was pushing the nutrients to hot and they seem to be ok with around 400-500 ppm, week 3 will be just PH 5.8-6.5 water with more worm castings and mammoth P, I will add the dry Kool Bloom on week 5 and water for 2 weeks after that to work as a semi flush. The Time-lapse did not record last two weeks user error on my part I think I got it figured out this time. also, I put a loop of classical music on an old mp3 player with a USB Speaker in the tent. until next week stay lifted.
I NEED TO READ THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR MY FREAKING TIMELAPESE CAMERA... So, 2 weeks of transition growth lost "sigh" but I think I got it figured out. I just gave the ladies a PK blast with the GreenGro Bloom Booster 3-18-18 and was pretty aggressive with it so I hope that this week coming up will show on the time-lapse the result of the PK boost in real time. I also top dressed the same day the PK was drenched in at High Strength on all the girls then I put a 1/4 cup of Dr. earth flower girl bloom boost 3-9-4 slow release food and worm castings I did not water again until a day after the PK boost root drench. the rest from here on out should just be water PH to 6 with the mammoth p and a shot of Cal mag lets see what happens. burn one down and listen to RUSH Moving Pictures,
hello, the time-lapse was good got to see the real time PK boost I let the girls go till dry i think i will keep them moist as the roots are all down to the bottom and the sides. I want the plant to drink as much as possible for the flowering stage. top dressed in worm castings last week and flower girl dry amendments along with the pk boost on the 17th it looks like it might of been a little heavy handed but nothing to serious with this so far. just water and mammoth p till the end the last blast of cal mag to free up the PK.
I think I overwatered and i messed up the PH

Week 6 of flower "mid-flower" found out what was wrong. My PH meter bit the dust and was giving me false readings hence the PH problem the soil and the runoff were 8.2 so the yellowing was from a combo of PH lock out high temps in the tent 90 degrees and lack of water.
despite my best efforts to kill these ladies they are hanging in there. I definitely stunted the yield but I'm ok with that, live and learn.
I added some sulfur to lower the ph. and gave a quick flush with 6.0 ph. water. let's see if it helps.
I fixed the PH issue now time for the last feeding. I gave her a diluted 50% feeding and ph. at 5.9 to make the food accessible. I hope this will carry over to the harvest just ph. to 6.0 water after this. still a lot of food in the pots.
I cant fix the damage that was done but they are putting on a little weight and the Trichomes are starting to amber up say 15%-20% i think i can push it one more week. I will give 2 days of dark on Wednesday and chop at week 10-11 as i put them into flower on 3/20
