Yes she's easy to grow. And she grows short and yields high, so she's a plant for every configuration, even one for a guy named TinyTenter. 😁 She smells great, leaves a lemony scent on your sticky hands, grows frosty buds and looks so beautiful when she's finished. I'm out of this seed right now, but I will do this again someday.

Reviews. Nutrient
They seem to work great! But I don't have much experience and I use coco, which many say is easier to use.
Reviews. Lamp
My HLG lamps are essential tools in what I do. Highly recommended.
Reviews. Tent
This tent is amazing. At 36 inches tall, she offers you the ability to Screen of Green and get all the way to harvest. 180 degree sideways opening door is a must or you won't be able to ScrOG. Ports for any configuration you want. A smartly designed durable tent, no doubt!

I envy you guys who get to cut down your plants with scissors. I have to get my heart rate up, sawing back and forth for over a minute or so. πŸ˜›πŸ˜„ But as far as I'm concerned, this space is better used as a dry diary... So... On Day 1 of the dry, she was pretty wet. There was only a 9 point difference between the temperature (69) and the RH in the tent (60). This was a good start. With my first two grows, you'd see this difference widen over time, indicating that the VPD from the dead plant was decreasing as it got drier. I like using this as a strong indicator of how dry the plant is. On the 2nd day of the dry, I got concerned with the level of humidity in the tent. Was getting readings like 71F 66%RH. That's too wet for the 2nd day. My prior grow, she was a smaller plant, so drying her with the AC Infinity exhaust fan set to level 1 was fine. 10% of 200 CFM is 20 CFM. It's a 12 CF tent, so 20CFM can be fine for a small plant. Light power efficiency isn't the only advantage of mini-tent growing. There's also exhaust fan power efficiency, too. My AC Infinity never runs above level 4, really. Anyway, I decided to turn the fan up to level 2 from 1 and started getting readings like 71F 58% RH, which is about where I like it to be for the 2nd day. A lesson learned - that larger plants might require a level 2 fan setting. I hoped to achieve a difference between the numbers of 20+ by end of Day 5. We were on the right pace. On Day 4 of the dry, was getting readings like 70F / 56%, RH inside the tent with the fan at setting 1 - a difference of 14.. So I was getting the indication that although still wet, the plant wasn't generating as much humidity as she was earlier in the dry, when a setting 1 was getting a difference in the single digits. So the plant was definitely dryer. Was aiming to do the trim the morning of Day 6. I'd always rather have a cure be too wet than too dry. She seemed on the right pace from my earlier experiences. On the morning of Day 5, I went to check the girl for the first time. She was doing well. Those long annoying sativa leaves she was sporting were all shriveled down. Tugged on one and it fell off easily. So she was nearing the end, certainly. There was a strong grassy smell to the girl, which had me sneezing a bit afterwards. LOL. But that was to be expected, having spent five days untouched to the world outside the tent except for its air. The most important thing I did was squeeze the smaller buds and they were just a bit too squishy in my opinion. They felt like they needed a little more time. That's the good thing about having gained prior experience with something you're doing. You get to just rely on your subconscious a little bit. And finally, the climate margins inside the tent had widened to readings like 71F / 55% RH, a difference of 16, at fan setting 1. Also a sign we were near the end but not there yet. So I was planning to start the trim on Day 6 for a number of reasons, some which didn't have anything to do with any kind of plant. My schedule best permitted a Day 6 trim. Hey. I'm being honest. There comes a point that you just can't let a plant run your life. So I left Day 5 thinking the trim would start the next morning. When next morning came, I saw exactly what I was hoping to see. At fan setting 1, the difference between the temp and the RH in the tent had widened to 25. If my prior grow was a good example, this meant she was ready. So I started the trim. Have a great grow day!

Oh and by the way no other grower has ever left such an impression on me man. I love how you noted every single week and took such great pics to help me understand and on top of all that your notes as well as the nutrients and mL amounts was unbelievable helpful in teaching me to understand and feel.more comfortable in feeding! Much appreciated! Cheers

@EBxAH, Hey buddy! I went to her page. I saw Zelda getting topped. The plants look great! I'm still very new to all this so I don't know how much advice I should be offering. But with regards to defoliation, my main reason for doing it is to get light penetration somewhere usually. Then somewhere around day 65 or 70 I might do some lollipopping if I see lower leaves couldn't possibly get any light, in order to reduce humidity and improve airflow in the tent. But that's it. Hope that helps?

@TinyTenter, hey man! So my wife started some gelato, wedding cake and Zkittles autos. I made a homemade scrog for the Zkittles. I suggested to her she should do defoliation with the wedding cake and let the gelato be. Would you check out Gekyumes Mom grow diary and give an honest opinion? Or any advice? You're killing it with auto my man so I been paying attention.
TinyTenter
TinyTenter
@EBxAH, I mean, I only have three grows under my belt, so I'm hardly the expert. (And as for inspiration. I've been to your page, buddy. I'm pretty sure the inspiration works more the other direction.. πŸ˜‰πŸ‘). But I read somewhere someone say that early LST, like Day 11, was as good as topping, and maybe better because you preserve bud sites. The grows I've done so far have been 60-90 cm plants. Small, so topping not a need. The one I just started is 80-100 cm. Maybe I'll make the decision to top that one, but I'd prefer not to. No, my plant-size-control method-of-choice that I've been using/testing is picking the right day to switch from my blue-spectrum growth-slowing veg lamp to my red-spectrum growth-exploding blooming lamp. The later in the stretch you make this switch, the smaller the plant should be in the end. Since she's an auto, the stretch ends on the day it ends. So by retarding her stretch with the blue lamp longer, you get a smaller plant when the stretch ends. Oh. And that branch healed for me, so she wasn't topped. I think I even got an extra cola out of the spot where the break happened. Cannabis is so rewarding, even when you mess up! 😜 Have a great one!

@Civicgrows, Thanks buddy! Look at it as a learning experience. What matters is that you keep getting better at it by learning as much as you can. The results are less important, I think. You're obviously studying, so no matter what, you are doing a great job! πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘πŸ‘Œ

I'm running out of the stuff from my 2nd grow. parting is such sweet sorrow. πŸ˜’πŸ˜‚. Have a great grow day!! And thanks again! i copied everything I do from other people, so who am I to claim copyright on anything? I just hope whatever you steal works for you. Is that a 2x2x3 grow tent bro? Btw you definitely mastered the low stress training! What an amazing grow! Cheers
TinyTenter
TinyTenter
@LstNlsd, Yeah. It's a 2x2x3. It's all that I could fit in here, really. And if you are gonna flower in something like that, LST/ScrOG becomes SUPER essential. I took cues from GrowWeedEasy.com's article about how to grow in a mini-tent, and it started from there. Adopted/created some new techniques along the way. But yeah. Nebula Haze is really the muse behind this grow. I'd love to give her thanks in person. She positively changed my life a bit. But thanks so much for your kind words. Super appreciated.

You are very afraid of light burn. Believe me, with modern LED it is almost impossible to burn the leafs with too much heat! All effects you see, are no light burn at all. If you want to see real light burn effect, you have to hang the light 1-2 inches away from the next leaf. You can test this, if you dont believe me. Maybe on an older plant, because then it is not much damage. You can hang your lights only 10 inches away, because then your plant can collect much more light. Important, is the temperature of the leafs, not the air! The leaf should not have more than 28Β° Celsius. FraFra
