D22- start of week 4 today, besides minor tucking I plan on leaving these plants alone until next feed. I am now playing the training game a bit slower to allow for vertical growth of lower leaves.
D23- the JH 1 has developed pistils this afternoon. JH2 is still going strong!
D25 update- fed both plants this morning the same silica and grow big mixture, with an addition of 1/8tsp/gal of Tiger Bloom. I see pistils on both plants (small, but there) and wanted to give them a quick little surge. Tucked leaves away and I'm training the new growth horizontal and away from the main cola. Both JH's are coming along wonderfully, JH1 being a touch ahead of JH2. Raising the light to maintain 17"-20" above top most part of canopy. Weekend growth was great, I've learned that letting them grow without temperament is sometimes better than a constant monitor. Will flush with water when dry, I'm guessing around D28 or so but we will see how they do before that or after. I'm just glad to be officially in pre flower!
D27- FLUSH. I've been seeing more pistils forming and popping out. Maybe the bloom kicked in, maybe it's nature...either way flushed out this morning both plants at roughly 40oz each to push the plants to utilize what they have on their own again. Soil was dry all around, will have to monitor watering frequency now a bit closer. Stem structure is great, letting branches grow up and out before I re train again. The constant daily tucking and pinning had allowed for some amazing light penetration. Now going to let them creep up before I re attach LST on flowering branches. Next feed will still be 1/8tsp bloom but will start to back off on grow big nutes. Will update mixtures when measured. Week 4 has been great for me and I'm really excited to see the gains they have yet to make.
Looking for opinions on when to defoliate JH2...main bud sites are visable, just a monster underneath, see D34-JH2 picture for current reference. Thank you all!
She looks about just ready to Defoliate, just take off the ones covering your bud sites underneath. Good luck! They look beautiful by the way! Great job π π
Hey there
Wow what a harvest, and great photos and a beautiful dog! π
We really hoped that you enjoyed growing our genetics, thanks again for sharing this diary!
@Fast_Buds, thank you thank you! Awesome genetics on this strain. Thank you for the nice words on my dog, she'll be happy hearing that (Bear is her name). Very happy with the harvest results, it was such a blast growing and documenting!
