Soaked the seed for a few days in Oregon’s Only Bigfoot root stimulator. Then planted directly into a 2.5 gallon pot, where it will live out the remainder of its 2 months.
Week two is in the books. She’s twice the size of anything else started around the same time.
I’ll probably top soon. I’ll need it to be a bit shorter than my photo period plants.
She’s growing like a... well, like a weed. I gave super light nutrients this week, with a half dose of Bigfoot root stimulator, and she seems to be responding well. She grew 4 inches. The next one will be grown with Subcool’s super soil and will only get water from start to finish.
11 inches in 7 days. This plant is awesome! She started flowering this week. And the buds are dark. I can’t wait to see her fatten up. The structure is incredibly open.
She shot up another 6 inches this week. I think she’s as tall as she’s going to get. Now I’ll concentrate on maintaining, while she fattens up her buds. I gave nutrients earlier in the week.Just Water every otger time. She’s starting to smell pretty. I’ve pulled off three leaves total, just because they were enormous and covering bud sites.
Giving alternating water and food every 3-4 days. She’s fattening up and turning purple. I’m willing to guess the top cola will be ready in as little as two weeks. She’s smelling really sweet. I can’t wait for harvest!
I
Getting fat and getting purple! Should’ve named this strain Grimace. Same color. Same sexy pear shape. Grimace looks like he might’ve smelled of sickly sweet funk, with a sharp odor of pixie sticks or sweet tarts on his hands and face. Pistils are turning, buds are swelling. I’m inclined to let this go a little long, for a night time smoke. I’ll start flushing soon.
Last week. Nothing but water for the last week. The next update will likely be a harvest, after drying and curing. I’ll be chopping Tuesday or Wednesday. Trichomes are 20% amber on the main cola. The lower buds are starting to go amber. She smells amazing, and I hope she’ll be an amazing smoke. She exceeded my expectations, and, as long as the smoke is great, I’ll be growing this one again.
Edit: I’m going to harvest the main cola this week. I’ll let the side branches go another week.
Still letting her do her thing. Properly fading out. I’ve just been flushing. I’ve been under the weather, and haven’t been posting. I’ll harvest today or tomorrow. Even the lower buds are solid rocks. I can’t wait to smoke this. I’m queasy as shit, and the smell is still mouthwatering.
Great strain! Shot up to its final height quickly. The structure was open, and barely needed any defoliation. Harvested at day 65.
Definitely a night time smoke. It’s great for watching movies. The taste is sweet and a little creamy, like a cookie. Tastes delicious. The body buzz pulses and travels down your body in waves. So relaxing.
This strain is incredible. Everything about it was just fantastic! Grows great. Harvest was good for a small pot. Taste and smell were great. The high is also great. I’ve got one more seed...I’ll probably start it soon.
Dark Devil is looking real nice hope mines at least gets half that size. Nice job. So quick question I seen that you have your lights on 12/12 you have it like that because your also growing photos or it just helps speed up the flower process with autos?
@Stinkfox, wow...I just did my first run in 25 years under a 24/0 cycle, albeit they always had a "nighttime" with greatly diminished PAR...blues during veg and reds while blooming (and UVB's late in bloom). I'm convinced that autos are satisfied with that, and also that by doing so I keep the plants shorter and the internodal distances at a minimum. Granted..some strains are gonna stretch too much no matter what you do...
@Silverback_Guerilla, FOR THE GREATER GOOD! 😂 Now I plan to run an Ultra Lemon Haze Auto 12/12 After the first 4 weeks. It’s supposed to be a better smoke, when grown that way. Supposedly takes a little longer too.
@Sweet_Seeds,
Respect.
We are all here to get better results and when you, the breeders, provide oversight/recommendations we can be assured that you have the plants best interest at heart.
Thanks for being involved,
Taz
Oh my goodness. This stuff is great! It’s only been in the jar a few days, but it’s incredible! Northern Lights is the only strain I like better. Already tastes really good too! I’ve seen every episode of Futurama many many times. But on this stuff, or NL, I notice a hundred little details I missed. So peaceful too. Can’t wait to give a full harvest update. It’s going to taste and smell so amazing, I really feel it needs a proper cure to do her justice. 😄
Hi my friend, thanks for sharing a new diary with our Dark Devil Auto®️ ;)
If you can, you could adjust the Ph to 6.2.
We hope you enjoy it.
Sweet smokes and good luck!

I grew this same strain once and growing again right now. My devil cream came oyt the same exact way with my 1212 as well. Rally funny. Cool little plant tho. Excited to see her again in a20/4 lighting
@Finsfan, I should have made a diary, but time has been a factor. I’ve found that maintaining a bunch of plants and diaries has become much more time consuming than 4 at a time.
@LumberjackBuds, I’m sorry.
You just never know how they will respond, I guess. The main stalk has been shooting up so fast, and getting so thick. I didn’t want to mess with that.
@ROM101, It’s awesome! And I made an order a week before it was announced. lol! Oh well, I’ve got some great freebies coming my way. I’m fact, I’ll be checking the mail when I get home. Next year I’ll wait. I’m learning to watch the holidays for sales, but especially April 20th.
Nice @Stinkfox I've harvested mine as well still got a little bit of drying to go. Looking forward to smoking after it cures but by the sounds of it I've got something to look forward to😜
@Wilstang, It’s sweet and earthy, with a taste kind of like a cookie, or a scone. I absolutely love it. As soon as I get time to really put some thought into it, I’ll post the harvest.
