Week 4 of flower, week 11 since germination. -Plants are showing some signs of potassium deficiency, lowers getting some blotchy chlorosis, brown tips and some small rusty spots. I'm upping the Maxibloom from 3.5g per gallon up to 4.5g per gallon and we'll see what's up. Maintaining a water/feed pH of 5.8-6.2 with daily checks and adjustments. Hopefully we'll see improvement this week. Not going to remove any damaged leaves as they have enough green/life in 'em to still do photosynthesis and if the plants need to draw more nutrients in, they still have plenty. -As we head to warmer/more humid weather the tent is getting a little hotter... I've got the dehumidifiers outside the tent keeping that floor in the 40-45% range though it's bumping temps up. My highs are now in the 87ish range and the lows are maintaining the 75f-77f range. Humidity is controlled in the 50-54% range averaging 52%. That's fine and the ventilation is running a bit more strongly, which is adding more airflow. -Plants are still growing, though not stretching too extremely. If they stay this height, I'm good. I removed some of the tie-downs now that they've been in flower for a few solid weeks and the branches have become woody and set. -Blumats continue to work just fine. Dripping at a rate of .75g or so per plant per day. They overall seem pleased. -PPFD has been bumped up a bit further for week 11. The DLI Calculator on the Photone site suggests that 850-890umol is reasonable and I'm running maybe a little hot with it 850-950 depending on where I take the readings with the Phantom Photobio meter. Bud sites are doing nicely and I haven't had plants before with this much trichome production on the leaves. Plenty of time to go, but really happy about how they're looking right now. Hopefully we can keep it up. I've done some light leaf removal here and there, but just to give light to bud-sites.

What's making these lowers blotchy yellow with some 'rust' spots? Any ideas? I think it's probably a P/K issue, am I underfeeding? Blumat drip system, Promix HP, Maxibloom @3.5g per gal. Ca/Mg @ 5ml per gallon. pH @5.8-6.2.

Hey there LeastExpected, so a few things are happening right now , basically it's from an imbalance in your NPK ratio. in flower you really want something like NPK 4-8-8 , right now you're at something like 2-4-8 , so right away you can tell you're going to be missing phosphorous, so what you're seeing in terms of yellowing is actually signs of K excess as well as P-deficiency. If you can find a way to add P that would help make your ratio better, and the problem will stop spreading almost immediately. Hope this helps ! 🚀

@@JerkFlowers, Good luck with yours! So far mine are proceeding as planned. I'm going to try to keep 'em low because they'll probably stretch to fill the entire tent!

Just saw you were gonna add some Epsom salt for mag, do you feel like the mag in maxigro isn't enough?

@LeastExpectedGrower, That makes sense, thank you for the explanation and details. I look forward to seeing your ongoing grow!!

@@JerkFlowers, I've really only just started using the Maxigro...previously I was using GH Trio but moved over towards the end of my last grow. A few longtime growers have suggested .5-1g of Mg weekly wouldn't hurt and I did previously have purple stems (a known sign of deficiency). I previously use Ca/Mg, but I don't think I need extra calcium, given my water starts at ~220ppm. This grow I've now used epsom salts in quantities of .5 and 1g and haven't had any signs of mg toxicity.
