Beginning of week 12 Looking good very sticky and the smell is wonderful Keep happy 🤙🤙 On the 9th June I chopped down one of the girls as she was very ready the other will need a few more weeks. She gave me 11 ounces trimmed 🤙🤙🤙🤙 very solid bud, there where some buds that where not as good so have put what left back in the tent. We will see if they harden up. I’m very happy with her, she is now drying 😉

Hi guys. This little one is just at the beginning of week 4, it had a bad start due to over watering. It seems to be growing pistols. Is this normal for such an underdeveloped plant. It is an automatic Thanks for any help.

Welcome to the (disappointing) world of autoflowers, which flower once the reach a certain age, not size. Once these pistils appear, flowering will start in earnest in about 2 weeks time. Unfortunately, your plants will be rather limited in size and therefore yields will also be limited. There is nothing you can do to stop this flowering process once it begins and this is why the first vegetive weeks of life with autoflowers are so vital to get some size to them, otherwise you end up in the situation that you are in, namely dwarf plants flowering. They may still double in size, but even then your yields are not going to be huge. I gave up growing autoflowers for good due to these sort of uncontrolable outcomes and will never grow autos again. In future, stick to photoperiod feminized plants, you can control when they flower and then get any size of yield you would like. Autos are really best left to hydro, big lights and experienced growers, feminized photoperiod plants are far more forgiving and far better suited to new growers in my opinion. You can also save a lot of money, as photoperiod plants require less hours of lighting to produce a crop, rather than the months of 18 hours per day of light that autos need. With photoperiod plants you need a short veg period at 18 hours then a couple of months at 12/12, meaning your electricity bills will be much reduced when compared to growing autoflowers. Using a fairly typical 12 week cycle as an example........ Autos = 12 weeks at 18 hours = 1512 hours of lights on time. Photo fems = 4 weeks at 18 hours = 504 hours, plus 8 weeks at 12 hours for a total of 1176 hours of lights on time. Therefore, over 12 weeks you save 336 hours of "lights on time" by growing photoperiod plants. I know which electricity bill I would prefer and whose "carbon footprint" is smaller! Hope this helps, Organoman.

Hi all, I have had very slightly yellow tips on this plant for a while. She is mid week week 10. Two days ago the leaves started to curl and the yellow has spread slightly. Last night I flushed her with PH water and have dimmed the light slightly, anything else I can do 🤙thanks

Quite simply, the yellow tips is burning from feeding too much or too often, or both. The solution is simple......

Hi there. You haven't been heavily feeding nutes which is good because an auto doesn't like strong feeds. Because of this you will prob only need to flush for 3 to 7 days at the most.

Your thoughts would be most Wellcome please. I’m looking for an up high from this grow as little couch as possible, she is a california kush, coming to the end of her 12 week. I added pictures of a few different buds. Leave or chop is the question. Thanks people 🤙

Hey buddy If you want a up high , you have to chop when the trichomes are 90-100 % milky , doesn't matter what strain but if your grow sativa then you get a up high anyway. Nice plant man 😀💪🍻

Depends on my drying environment. My indoor I will keep them as is because I have a temp/humidity regulated drying tent that I can keep at optimal conditions. And I like the look of big buds!!!! But my outdoor I hang in my shed which has temp/humidity fluctuations and is more prone to bud rot so I break them down or I will bend each node out. Happy Growing

easy to overwater when they are 2-3wks old! I am on the same start date as you, and about 75% are now in 2.5qt with 25% stunted out like you may be experiencing. IMHO, do NOT be afraid to tap out your plants (plant between fingers, upside down, tap tap, lift cup, dont move while you look, then replace cup) If they are too moist, you will see roots that dont have micro-tendrils spidering out into the soil. I had 7 like this at one point, and I shook off the loose soil and repotted them in BONE dry soil, in new 6" pots. Tamp lightly and do not water for two days. This will wick the soil back to a good state, and you should see roots hanging out the bottom in a week, maybe two. Best of luck!

@MrCrispy, thanks for the heads up. They are bouncing back now but when I do it to the next grow I’ll follow your advice. What I need to do is not rush things, but every time I do. Thanks for the help man🤙🤙🤙
