4/29/22 - Day 42 - Was hoping to have these girls in by now, but mother nature had other ideas. I've been leaving the plants out in the hoophouse during the nights in hopes to get them used to some of the cold nights without any wind and she seems to be taking it well. Doesn't look like the nights will be dropping below 40 anymore *Cross fingers* so by the end of the week hopefully she'll be in the ground. I'm a bit concerned about my planting location though. Its at the bottom of a slope on the farm which is known for getting wet in the spring. I've installed some french drains a few weeks ago in hopes of removing the water from the area and it seems to be working. Water table is still a bit high as you can see in one of the pictures, but it looks like I can go ~14" deep before hitting this water. Thinking I'll mound up the soil a bit to give it a little extra drying space. Nothing special for feeding this week. Just watering when needed and of course 15-0-0 misting on Fridays.
