5/22/22 - Day 65 - Its been a crazy week with the weather. Temps have been in the high 80's when the average this time of year is 65 F. We had a crazy wind storm the other day where most of the plants had some wind damage and I just noticed tonight when taking pictures that I had a few small caterpillars on the leaves.
-Wind Damage - As we get into the growing season, I have a fence of willows that are finally getting filled out which will hopefully prevent this type of wind damage again. I just received a wind screen I ordered as well for privacy (lack of foliage in the front) which will also make a great wind break for this plants.
-Caterpillar - Don't seem to be doing to much damage yet. Found a few pin holes that they've been eating at. Sprayed the plants today with some Montery B.t which I'll repeat weekly.
- Feeding - Continue to mist the plants once a week with 15-1-1 pure protean and 0-0-17 seaweed then following up the following day with some compost tea (Boogie Base and Boogie Boost).
-LST - Once every day or 2 I'll adjust my strings towards the top of my originally branches and continue to stretch as planned. Twist the branches clock wise making sure the nodes on each branch are parallel so the sun reaches both sides.
That’s some nice tree you got ! This plant has a interesting shape and form 😁 I also have outdoor projects - take a look some time , I’ll be following this massive grow you definitely have farmer tendencies 🤣😅😀
