Hello GD community!
Winter is gone, finally it's GROW TIME π
Third year as grower and first time with this strain.
πββοΈFor those that don't know me, I'm a 100% OUTDOOR grower from Italy, great supporter of efficient and simple things; I love experimenting and always learning for my errors and this what I do also when growing πͺ
π± As first seed of the season we have a "Amnesia Haze Automatic" by Royal Queen Seeds.
This is from my last ever purchased (and not gifted) order.
π‘ I'm pretty disappointed by the germination rate, I mean, 1 living seed when I germinated 3, bruh.
I will update the diary once a week and in particular the first day of each week.
"Day 0" will be assigned when the first leaves will come out from the soil.

Dingle_Dangle 24/04/22 - Day 21 - First day of the 4th week.
Exactly as last year, after some unusual sun and heat, came the cold, the wind and the rain.
Speding all the time in a shelter near the windows.
Wish me good luck and let's hope in sunny mild days π€βοΈ

You have no idea.
One week ago was winter. Now it's full summer.
30Β°C HOT AF especially wrt 20Β°C max of 1 week ago.
Also, I'm not able to LST autos properly :/
And I should defoliate.
Flowering began, though
Wish me good luck and let's hope in sunny mild days π€βοΈ

Dingle_Dangle Very disappointed.
For sure I've learned to avoid LST when growing Autos Outdoor and that I should probably invest for some quality soil.
I learned that especially with autoflowering strains until the end of May (Italy), it's very risky to put them outside.. unfortunately, temperatures can drop at night, but if there's always sun during the day, it could work. Problems arise when there's no more sun and it rains or it's cloudy; the plant stays pretty much the same day after day. I think the ideal is to keep it indoors for a minimum of 14 to a maximum of 20 days, even in a small pot, and then transplant it outside at the beginning of June. It might seem strange to transplant autoflowering strains, but I think if you also do some bending when it's transplanted, it can extend the vegetative stage by at least 3 to 5 weeks and manage to quickly recover from stress while also stretching and fully expanding its roots.
@Bryankush, they are tricky because if it gets too cold, they stop growing well, but if it gets too hot, so you should hit the sweet spot. Last year my autos didn't do well and stayed tiny (see diaries "Spring Cup"). I wanted to try since the first warm days and being "sacrificial seeds." Thanks anyway for sharing your experience <3
@Dingle_Dangle, you're right, it's always good to experiment; that's how you drastically improve. Regarding the heat, I think using pots outside really worsens the root situation. Last season, I did some experiments, and pots in the sun for too long really make the plants suffer a lot.
