Hello GD community!
It's time for some DELICIOUS EXPERIMENTATION π¬
Third year as grower and first time with this strain.
πββοΈFor those that don't know me, I'm a 100% OUTDOOR grower from Italy, great supporter of efficient and simple things; I love experimenting and always learning for my errors and this what I do also when growing πͺ
π‘ "DO NUTRIENTS MAKE THE DIFFERENCE?"
π Here the question we're trying to give an answer to.
I've always been a fan of super simple grows, that means soil, water, sun and love. At the same time I also always wanted to see if with some specific nutrient the result could be better (yield, taste, density ecc...)

One using @Plagron_Service nutrients, and the other one only Water.
π± The candidate for this new diary is a "Amnesia Skunk Automatic" by Zamnesia Seeds.

I will update the diary once a week and in particular the first day of each week.
"Day 0" will be assigned when the first leaves will come out from the soil.

The journey begins. Both babies are alive! π
I'm going to use the following EMOJIs and NAMES for differentiating the two both in comments and pics:
πΌ - "RAW" - for the PLACEBO one will NOT receive any nutrient;
π - "BOOSTED" - for the one that will receive nutrients.
π is 0 days old, while πΌ is 1 day old, but for simplicity we will assume both with the same age starting from "0" today π

MEMO:

π looks strong and healthy
πΌ has some problems with the first leaves, I'm afraid this is going to stun her grow consistently π£
Unusual sunny days, they're speding most of the stime outside.
Added some soil around the stem to help them stay straight.

23/04/2022 - Day 14 - First day of the 3rd week.

π looks strong and healthy
πΌ basically dead. I've no idea why. Some of you suggested too much water: could be but I'm not convinced.
Exactly as last year, after some unusual sun and heat, came the cold, the wind and the rain.
Speding all the time in a shelter near the windows.
I'm afraid this experiment is already over. Given the situation it won't be possible to make a fair comparison.

30Β°C HOT AF especially wrt 20Β°C max of 1 week ago.
Also, I'm not able to LST autos properly :/

Stretch not enough for a proper LST, only the lowest branch has been able to find his space.

@Dingle_Dangle, 40% coconut fiber, 20% perlite, 20% humus, 10% vermiculite (or Biobizz substrate, Topcrop .xxx) or vary it as long as it looks like it has space for the roots to expand when it dries. When the substrate dries is when the roots expand, and you water them a little in the center and the rest around the edges of the pot... also, if you can, mycorrhizae... read a bit about that beneficial fungus for root expansion, remember that the bigger the roots, the bigger your plant will be.
