This round will be 3 forbidden runtz autos from fast buds. These seeds cracked open and grew tiny taproots overnight! 👏 I plugged them straight into the soil today and am looking forward to seeing them sprout. I’m using biobizz light mix only and no extra perlite this time. The soil was pre watered with half strength microbe tea and I left it to sit for 24 hours in the pots. When I pluggged the seeds I gave them a shot glass of plain pH’d water each and popped my homemade humidity domes on. 🤞they all had shoots so I’m expecting all 3 to break out successfully 🤞

All have broke soil successfully. They look great apart from being a little bit leggy. So I’ve lowered the height of the light and slightly increased the intensity now. 😁

I’m very pleased with growth so far. The only downside being how tall they grew in their first week… (Put light closer or more intense for propagation next time) They’re definitely thirsty for some nutrients now. I’ll be introducing them through the coming week. I’ve been feeding about 500ml ish of water about every 2/3 days so far and now the leaves are hinting that they want some nitrogen. How about some smelly fish mix ? 😁

Plants are doing great. I’m really happy with them so far. They’re starting to produce some side branches now so I decided to tie the top leaves up to give the lower bits more light. I opted for this rather than topping or fimming in the hope it won’t stress them out and delay the overall harvest time. I’ll probably untie everything in a few days and start with some LST towards the end of week 4. 🤞🤞

The ladies are blowing up! I’m very happy with the progress so far. I increased nutrients and supplements slightly, raised the light a little bit and increased dimmer. I removed the humidifier as it is no longer needed (humidity stays high enough without it) and also made a new addition to the tent, another Mars hydro ts1000. 🤞✌️

It’s been quite a week of transformation. #3 was the first to shoot up. She had to be tied down first. I tied #1 & #2 down before they got the chance to stretch in their untrained position. A few branches needed slight adjustments throughout the week to keep the canopy as level as possible. I also raised the lights up a bit to maintain a 45cm distance. 👊

I’m struggling to keep relative humidity below 65%-70%. Should I defoliate some lower fan leaves to help with this? Will doing so hurt overall yield? I’m at beginning of week 2 of flower. Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah you should be fine mate. Just keep it to the lower stuff getting no light or won't ever really receive any light. Make sure you don't go overboard and strip to much off because it needs as many leaves as possible. Good luck.

Six weeks have passed and what a pleasure this grow has been so far! Gave them a slight defoliation this week. Just thinned the lower sections of the plants a little bit. I even left a few leaves and stems since I don’t want to shock them too much! Fed them just water and Alg-a-mic @1ml/L at the beginning of the week. Other feeds were back to schedule however I lowered doses to be on the conservative side. I’m starting to see that less is more when it comes to nutrients especially when you use other supplements. Early signs of deficiency are far easier to manage than lockout. They’ve stretched a bit. Some branches more than others. Hopefully they won’t go much more! The lights are pretty much as high as they will go on they’re original fixings.. maybe I’ll have to reduce dimmer if they grow too close. I’m still at 45cm distance so I think I’ve got about 15cm spare room for them to grow into before I have to dim! 🤞✌️

Buds are forming. The tent is full of bud sites and the plants seem ok. Had some minor issues with pH but they should be good now. They smell is strong already. Can’t wait to smell it when it’s done 👌

Not a good end to this week… went away for a few days after giving these girls just plain water to sort out the acidity in the soil, and they’ve had a tsunami of deficiencies as a result. I’ve sorted the pH of the soil now and given a stronger feed. Run off came out @pH6.4 so hopefully no more issues. 🤞

I’ve removed all the crispy bits and rebalanced the pH of the soil and also dimmed the intensity of the light a little. They don’t seem to have gotten any worse since last week and the buds have fattened up a fair bit so I think they’ve pretty much recovered. 🤓 I think a few weeks left maybe 2 or 3, we’ll see. ✌️🙌

Things are coming along and they’re not looking too bad. A week or 2 of plain water and I think they’ll be ready for the chop. Not a perfect run but oh well maybe next time 🤞

Emergency harvested these as I spotted some bud rot on the biggest bud! Dam rain! I’m holding my breath now as they hang to dry. I took the rot damaged buds out to dry separately to see what I can salvage once it’s dry! Other than that, it looks like a decent crop with a lot of nice nugs. They’re pretty faded already so it’s not that much of an issue, I just wanted to let them go a bit longer but… oh well maybe next time!
