@GreeneScene, There's a few types of DE. One has silica and a few other things like gala green, also has some pest pros. But you can get pesticide DE. You add it to dry soil. And it does as explain already to yourself. Whatever you look at. Itll have its uses. Good luck

@GreeneScene, It washes off with water very easily since its a dry substance but I do not use it on the flower itself just on the soil and leaves and stem. It is safe to eat and ingest so it's nothing to worry about if it accidently does get on the flower since the fans blow it around at times. I usually do not use it when there are buds since the bugs are not as attracted since it is dryer conditions.

@HAPPY91, cool I totally just learned something useful. Last thing. . Is there a certain time to stop applying that D.E ? & how does that affect the bud do you avoid getting it onto the flower or just not apply after bidding has started ?
