Day 78 - Her buds are starting to get fatter, and very sticky to the touch. They are also incredibly dense compared to the other girls so it will be interesting to see what she does over the next few weeks. No real distinct smell from her yet.
Day 79 - Still not much smell, and she will be getting some water today. Her buds are getting thick underneath.
Day 80-83 - I don't smell pineapple yet, but I do smell a peppery lemon from her. She has the biggest buds of all the girls. They are fat under the canopy and very dense. While the critical looks to be the biggest yielder, this plant could give her a run of her money. I hope she continues to add weight over the next couple of weeks into harvest.
Day 84-85 - Getting thicker every day, and starting to smell quite a bit. A very peppery smell with a hint of lemon. She has potential, not sure where the pineapple name comes from though, I assume it is from the pineapple shaped buds.
@TheDude1337, yeah it should help, I noticed a good change when I did it on mine, Iโve defoliated twice now, I like to start from the bottom of the plant and work my way up, any leaves that are covered I remove and leave the main fan leaves at the top of the plant. You should notice a good change ๐๐ป๐
@ItsLegalInMyHouse, I did a bit today to try to get some light into the middle of the plant. The 2ndary leaves just haven't been getting any light and they curl up instead of growing. I really hope it helps.
Sheโs looking healthy, have the others popped up yet? What germination method did you use? ๐ PS Yeah this becomes very addictive ๐ I never get bored checking daily haha
@TheDude1337, good method ๐๐ป Hopefully the last one shows itโs face haha and yeah same if Iโm honest, I check everyday after work and could literally sit there for an hour just watching them grow. ๐ก๐ฑ
@ItsLegalInMyHouse, 4 of the 5 plants have popped up now. To germinate them, I soaked some jiffy pellets and put the seeds in them. I then stuck them on a shelf for 72 hours until I had my setup complete and put them into pots. I hope over time I can bring myself down to checking on them once a day. I might wear the zipper out on my tent before too long.
