Babies were moved into DWC buckets on the 19th approx. 2 days after popping up above ground. We’re at Day 10 currently.
This is my first time using rapid start and I’ve never seen root growth like this ever! Bruce Banner roots were showing out the net pot after a couple days and are almost to the bottom of a 5 gallon bucket now. Explosive root growth and this is will be added to me normal feeding regimen from now on!
Leaf tips are starting to become yellow & brittle & they flake off on touch after a couple of days. Started a week ago. Turned the lights down to 30%. Introduced cal/mag + silica. Hit them twice before the lights turned off with a foilar feed of cal/mag.
What’s wrong? TIA
…And cotinuing my prev post. As you’re growing in DWC - the roots may show some symptoms too.
Make a new res patch give about 200-250ppm of CalMag for the base then get your EC somewhere between 0.7-1.2 / 350-600ppm.
Foliar symptoms appear as K (Potassium) deficiency.
You’re having way too high EC and therefore the excess salts creates nutrient lockouts. Plants may express the symptoms as a deficiency or excess symptoms on the foliage.
It is a nutrient overload problem, not a lighting issue.
You are feeding them too many things.
They certainly don't need bud candy or terpinator at this stage - they are baby plants, baby plants need baby feeding!
