24 hour soak in tap water with a pinch of vitamin C and ph balanced to 6.0
Tap roots slightly showing after 24 hr soak.
Placed in Rapid Rooters that were soaked in a low solution mix. Rapid rooters placed in heated propagator.
Both have popped up above ground after 24hrs in rapid rooters.
Babies were moved into DWC buckets on the 19th approx. 2 days after popping up above ground. We’re at Day 10 currently.
This is my first time using rapid start and I’ve never seen root growth like this ever! Bruce Banner roots were showing out the net pot after a couple days and are almost to the bottom of a 5 gallon bucket now. Explosive root growth and this is will be added to me normal feeding regimen from now on!
Day 16. Growth has been good, did experience some leaf tip burn and discoloration, I think it’s cal mag deficiency. I added cal mag to the regimen and also hit it with a cal mag foiler feed right before the light turn out.
Rapid start has the root zone going crazy, I’m highly impressed with the current results.
I plan to start LST sometime this week.
Leaf tips are starting to become yellow & brittle & they flake off on touch after a couple of days. Started a week ago. Turned the lights down to 30%. Introduced cal/mag + silica. Hit them twice before the lights turned off with a foilar feed of cal/mag.
What’s wrong? TIA
…And cotinuing my prev post. As you’re growing in DWC - the roots may show some symptoms too.
Make a new res patch give about 200-250ppm of CalMag for the base then get your EC somewhere between 0.7-1.2 / 350-600ppm.
Foliar symptoms appear as K (Potassium) deficiency.
You’re having way too high EC and therefore the excess salts creates nutrient lockouts. Plants may express the symptoms as a deficiency or excess symptoms on the foliage.
It is a nutrient overload problem, not a lighting issue.
You are feeding them too many things.
They certainly don't need bud candy or terpinator at this stage - they are baby plants, baby plants need baby feeding!
First I want to thank everyone for the help and tips, it’s much appreciated and the plants have been thriving since! Thank you!
Both plants absolutely took off this week and all new growth has been 100% healthy.
I started LST this week on about last Tuesday or Wednesday and they responded so well and the growth was so fast I was having to adjust the LST 2-3 times a day sometimes more.
We’re in day 23 and these plants are blowing me away. The Bruce Banner is literally exploding like a monster.
I did bring down the ppm and lowers the nutes to 1ml on the base nutrients, ppm is now 960.
I can’t wait to see what this week brings me!! Happy growing!
Went on vacation for 5 days and the plants were left alone and came back to nice growth!! LST has created an even canopy.
The Amnesia Haze experienced some nutrient deficiencies due to water levels and no topping off (I think)
The Bruce banner is going absolutely nuts! Super strong plant, no signs of anything but lushy green leaves.
Started flowering nutes and boosters.
Amazing growth in one week. 12 inches are more growth in this last week!!
Bruce Banner is growing like a monster at 24 inches LST’ed. showing no signs of stress or problems.
Amnesia Haze is also growing great! Also showing no signs of stress or problems now!
No pics of Amnesia Haze. They both started to really fatten and produce more THC. Bruce Banner started to really change colors, N going down and purple colors starting to pop out vibrantly.
Final flush week, terp & flawless. Changed res every 2 days.
Bruce’s colors really started to pop and turned into the most beautiful beast!!
Amnesia haze is super frosty!!
