When is the right time to start adjusting the PH of the water i give my seedlings?
Right now, their heads just start popping above the earth.
I'm spraying them with tap water. ph around 7
For the first 10 years of growing I would worry about everything, but for the last 25+ years have not worried so much and use tap water.
As long as it is fit for human consumption, it wil be just fine for your plants.
They are coming along nicely,
Turned on the fan for half an hour 5x times a day, so theyre stems can develop (really important for the autos because they are going outside later on)
Added a little humic acid and ph'ed the water to 6.4, might start watering them manually (have been spraying them for now)
Growing like cabbage, 4th node is coming in and it's only the start of week 3
Added some nutes today, 1 feeding will be nutes second feeding will be humic acid and third feeding is just ph'ed water
Lowered the ph a little bit again, want to keep it at 6,2.
It's the end of week 3, topped my ladies
also removed 2 fan leaves from the head to get better lighting to lower branches
Topping went very good, lower branches are reaching out.
Just continueing giving the nutes like i was, no deficiencies so far.
Bent the 2 GC over
choosing a different tactic for the GWH
As you can see, i did some LST to the GWH.
Lost one cola due to LST and being a bit to rough with her (also i removed 1 fan leaf at the joint that it broke off, so that might be the reason for it to break off easier)
They look really good, so bushy.. I'm a happy grower 😀
Few more weeks and i'll put them into flowering stage
Gave them a little haircut and some more LST
Happy times all is going well, plants look happy
Topping on one of the Giant white haze, she was getting a bit to big
Decided to put them on 15 hours light so i can put them on 12/12 next week
2nd day of 15 hours light, i did some defoliation
I'm really fighting moisture levels this week. it's ranging between 60 - 75%
did a proper defoliation, trying to lower moisture levels and give them a better chance of creating nice thick buds.
The fan and ventilator are on almost all the time.
weather outside has been clearing up and the sun is coming out so i'm happy about that.
The gorilla cheese has been stretching alot (on the right)
let's hope she's done now.. can't move my light up much higher
Installed a floor fan, to give them more air circulation.
Air humidity is under control ranging between 55%-75%
GIving them nutrition - water - nutrition
everything seems to be going well, plants look happy. Trichomes are starting to show 😍
Uh oh - while plucking some pop corn buds, i noticed some seeds are forming on one of the white haze's
also you can see the seeds popping in the buds (check photo)
I'm not so happy about that but we'll see where it goes
I'm thinking it is because i have the floor fan pointed at her base.. maybe that gave her some stress
or another theory is that she was impacted from drought, i tried to lower air humidity by giving less water and putting the floor fan on for 12h a day and the others almost full time
so the soil was pretty dry at some days, i should defenitly keep an eye out for that.
FLUSHING
Plants are looking great, smells very strong
buds are nice and fat now, nice white trichomes
going to flush for another week and keep an eye on the trichomes
