Hi everyone. This is my first indoor growing and my first diary too! I’ll start from week 7 ‘cause I didn’t want to make a diary at first but now I changed my mind. I’ll make a quick resume of what happened during previous weeks: so I got these 2 big bud seeds and I thought it was a great idea to run them simultaneously on 16 L pot under one TS 1000 in a 60 x 60 grow box. The first weeks the plant grew a bit slow (no root stimulator, cal-mag, pH control ecc...) but when I started feeding them Bio grow and Bio bloom they started to push a lot, especially Gon. Killua had a little root problem (due to my stupidity) and his roots went out from the bottom of the pot and I mean a lot out, I couldn’t put it inside the pot again so I had to break them to prevent the rot of all the roots. Other than that I think the plant are growing well. I didn’t use any technique (except some little defoliation) as I am a newbie and I wanted to take the grow as safe as possible for me. On week 5 Gon started to push really hard and I realized it was “blocking” Killua so I decided to try to move Killua outdoor and for now it’s doing good. That’s all, hope you enjoy my grow and good grow to everyone is reading 🙏🏻

I think Gon is coming too much close to the light. I have little to no more space to raise the TS1000 and it’s already at 30 cm distance. Anyone has any advice of what should I do? Thanks in advance 🙏🏻

So the small LST on the main cola worked fine, thanks to everyone who suggested me this technique! 😊 Gon recovered almost instantly and now the buds are starting to form and are all pretty equals at 25 cm distance from lamp! They are quite small for now but I hope they’ll become bigger! Also humidity level increased A LOT mostly due to bad weather condition outside I think but also because the plant really started to push a lot the flowering phase, so I had to increase extraction fan power and also the power of the little inside the box fan. About Killua, he’s having a great time doing his flowering stage outdoor despite quite a bad weather in the previous week (4 days out of 7 cloudy with rain) and he might start producing trichomes during this week. As always thanks for reading and good grow to everyone!! ☺️

So everything going quite well. Temperature and humidity are good and the plants are pushing into late flowering stage. Gon has a ton of bud sites but they’re quite small, I’m thinking about bringing him outdoor alongside Killua but I don’t really know. We’ll see next week. As always thank you all for reading and good grow 😊

I just started week 9 of my first indoor grow and here is Gon which has A LOT of bud site but they are all quite small in my opinion. Is there something that I could do or I just leave it like that? Maybe the light has not enough power? Could I bring him outdoor at this stage?

There nothing perticular you can do, and most prolly that just genetic and phenotype traits. Yep 150W remain pretty small lamp so you shouldn't expect the biggest colas and buds ever. And finally sure you can bring her outdoor at this stage. Happy growing HxH 😉

So as of a lot of you suggested me, I tried to move Gon outdoor for the final weeks; he was very happy... but only for 2 days because this week was rainy like all the times so I immediately put it back in the grow box and now his colas are become quite good (still small but hey, I learnt the lesson). Also Gon is starting to show deficiencies on his fan leaves so he’s telling me that he wants to die and in a week or so I’ll do the final flush, then I’ll wait 10 days and finally I will chop it. About Killua, I switched his feeding schedule to the normal BioBizz light mix schedule and he’s doing fine, seems the deficiencies are not expanding; he’s a bit slower than Gon but his buds are becoming very dense and juicy. As always thanks for reading and happy grow to everyone!

Hello everyone! We’re pushing into the final weeks. Both plants are permanently transferred outdoor, got some obvious bug problem but other than that everything it’s goin smooth. They love the sun and seem very happy, the buds have become a bit bigger and I’m very happy about that. Gon have been flushed yesterday and in 10 days he will be chopped while Killua it’s going slower (I think he got another 2-3 weeks before flushing). As always thanks for reading and good grow to everyone🙏🏻😊

We are heading into the final days!! Both plants have been flushed, Gon will be chopped on May 26th, while Killua will be chopped on May 31st. Gon is going really well, leaves are yellowing ‘cause I’m feeding him only water; on the other hand Killua is having some bug / parasites problem but I hope to keep that under control. However they are looking very juicy and I can’t wait to taste them 😻 As always, thanks for reading and good grow to everyone!!

This is Killua last day, just went into week 13 but tomorrow I will chop it. He got a really delicate smell and the buds are big and juicy, though he is a bit infested by bugs.

So Gon is gone!!!! 119 grams after drying! That was amazing though there were a lot of small buds. They took only 3 days in total to dry at 22ºC and 40-60% humidity. Now I will do about 1/2 week of curing ‘cause the buds are already dried almost to the right point and also I can’t wait to taste it 😻😋 In the meantime I will have to chop Killua, he’s almost ready so I’ll add another week to show the results for him also. I will update the smoke review when I vaporize it. UPDATE 06/06: Killua is also gone! And it comes with 145 amazing grams of big buds! This time the buds are quite big so I am really happy. Unfortunately, about25 grams had been lost due to rotting including ALL the main bud on top of the plant 😭; however I am quite satisfied, this was like a “basic level” genetic and I am very happy of what came out. Also I learned a lot from the small mistakes I made during this grow and it will come in hand in the future. This is all from this diary, I will now update the smoke test and then goodbye everyone, good grow and see you on the next diary! 😊

@CRiSPrGrow, okk thanks a lot! Yes I’m noticing that, the other plant which I moved outdoor during week 4 is growing a bit slower

@John_Federic, for me it just tastes better outdoors, but it takes a bit longer time that's all

@CRiSPrGrow, thank you so much for answering, but do you think that (given the small light) is better to transfer the boy outdoor? Or should I stay indoor? I also think I got another 2/3 weeks to go so maybe could it be better for him to stay outdoor?

QUICK UPDATE: so, as a lot of you have suggested in the Question thread, I LSTed the main canopy of Gon. It’s my first time doing this so I hope the main stem won’t break but for now it’s looking normal. Distance from lamp is 35 cm so I gained like 20 cm of space which is great... but I think more LST will come in the next weeks. But we will see in the future, I think for today that’s enough. As always thanks for reading and a happy 4/20 to everybody 😊🍁

@John_Federic, Gorilla Cookies did well for me too! I think the Gelato will be better though!
John_Federic
John_Federiccommented3 years ago
@SwissKush, yes I tried it from a friend and it's very good overall but the very best for me was Gorilla Cookies. I grew it last year and it was the most dense buds i've ever seen and also the taste and the effect were both unbelievable, that's definitely my favourite genetic from FastBuds.

@John_Federic, the Gelato is good also from a Fastbuds, I grow now, will be almost size of Big Bud. DWC + FastBuds works well! 💪

First , you must hang the buds drying than trimming
John_Federic
John_Federiccommented3 years ago
@PotentGrower420 no, I prefer doing wet trimming for a lot of reasons: - It's easier to trim wet leafs rather than doing it with dry ones. - Doing wet trim reduces a lot the probability of mold formation during the drying process. -You can trim more precisely with wet trim. -You can clean and eliminate all the insects on the buds before drying if there are any. -The buds will take less time drying because there is physically less plant material to dry. However this is why I prefer wet trimming, but it's not an universal method of doing things and I know that there are a lot of people who prefer dry trimming
