FastB Kosher (kush) Cake

Welcome: thanks for dropping by. Drop a like so I can check out your grows, or not, I'll leave it down to you. So, the fun begins with Kosher Cake. Have 6 in the ground FB seeds in the ground only 1 kosher. The 2 Strawberry Gorillas are still not there with germination. Have started these on the 3 nutes above. These are best known as Voodoo Juice, tarantula and Piranha. These versions are from the ppl who hold the pattens and make a lot of ANs formulas. They have just improved upon most of the AN line up but they kept these the same. As they are tried and tested. Going to be running this lady on the full 19 Terra Power Line up. You can check these out on led-grower.eu/terra-power/ and read up on them for yourself. I'll be adding what's in them as for these 3 if you are interested look up Voodoo, T&P. Hopefully soon you'll be able to click on them and look em up when they join GD in the next wk or so. Happy with how the nutrients are holding a stable PH at 6 and these aren't even their PH perfect nutrients. So no PH - + needed. Sprayed each plant expect 1 gorilla zkittlez, for that 1 I used ANs line. These recommend 1ml/l for seedlings, AN I used 1.5ml/L. I use to use 2ml/L but they are seedlings so it's enough. Just a waiting game now. Will update as soon as these ladies start a popping. I laid a damp towel around the pots hopefully it'll up the RH. (Don't soak the towel it needs to be able to dry easily and in turn increase RH) Sprayed each 5 plants with this line up to start them off. As soon as leafs show I'll start them on a very very light feed. Will feed again in 2 days with the same mix. Another 100ml 1ml/l of each 3ml/l total 627ppm 6ph 21c temp. Have the smart intake fan at no 4 on 100% of the time. If I can't get desired RH after a day or 2 I'll turn the intake fan on 20/20 on/off and it'll make the RH be above 70% by doing this alone in a small space like 70x70. I really don't think I'm gonna have an Issue with low RH, but I have a feeling I'm gonna pay to have a low RH environment. 30/4/22 VD1. Have started her on jungle juice trio and a mix of terra Power enzymes and all there bud/resin enhancers will be used in conjunction with half strength recommend jungle juice dose. The feed is so low I've made up a 1l mix and that will do this and the 2 banana purple punches also. And I'll move that up to 1ml/L x3 of the jungle juice products next week. But for this week what's up above will be given every 2 days or when needed. 1/5/22 Slow growth on VD2. She's the runt most are reaching 2.5cm 3+ nearly on 2. Let's see what happens she's out of the ground and showing fan leafs, yday she had a crusty head. So all in all, going well. 6-8 FB seeds are up and thriving. 2/5/22 She's picked up fine. Got some height to her. Will continue the same course and watch her grow. Will update once more on on size and daily pics. 4_5_22 All Jungle juice&Terra Power grows are showing deficiency signs. I'm going to push up the EC this week I think. I do not want to stall them but I really think EC will be high in jungle juice because of the micro it has SO MANY TRACE nutrients it's crazy and it sends the EC sky high but there's so much of little bits of this and that I really think it can handle a higher EC. I'm going to 2x it or up it by a 1/3 for their watering 2moro as they were only fed yday. I've added biobizz calmag to help as my tap water is lacking cal mag when it comes into summer or so it stays on our water reports. It drops by 20%. 6/5/22 So, it's begun. I've created a negative pressure environment, 1st time, let's see if it makes an impact. On wk 3 onwards I'll be running the intake extraction for 5mins every 30mins and I'll have 2 co2 bags up. If the RH becomes a problem or temp I'll put the extraction/intake back on 100% of the time. The extraction fan/intake is set at a ratio of 2 to 1. (100% extraction 50% intake) making a negative pressure environment, best way to show you have done this, the walls in your tent should bow in lightly. Same Day. Okay, so this my last update. Going to run fans the same right up until flower and then I'll be sealing up my tent and adding 2 co2 bags. And will be adding a dehuimifier and setting at 45% And it checks every 30mins and if it's gone up it'll turn back on and bring down to 45 or set RH, so no co2 will escape. The temp will be bordering 30-33c and then when they go into their rest window they'll be transferred to to a negative pressure environment with low temps and 45-50%RH. I'll only be able to do this for the 3 weeks of pre flower. And maybe some more, it depends how hard the dehuimifier will be working, but i want dense buds and only way to improve that is by introducing Co2 and then a negative pressure cold environment for terps. Then I'll be putting them back into full negative pressure environment and the Co2 will be useless, again all depends how it's gonna affect my bottom line. That and I only have 2 intake fans. I'll be going into detail about my Co2 adventures the week before I'll be prepping them to be able to withstand high temps, so I'll gradually bring up the temps the last wk of veg 28c max and that way when I push it to 30-32c in pre flower she won't stress as much Thanks for reading, this will be it as for updates for this week other than her final 7th wk day. Welcome to my jungle juice + Terra Power line up come together to bring my kosher cake grow to the next level, well the next level for me. Be sure to drop a like or comment so I can visit your grows 8/5/22 wk 2 (VD8) Week 2. Only fed yday but will up the ppm by 300 or so. Will also begin on Root stim La Calavera fully this week aswel as Atlas.. Will watch closely over the next week, will be keep RH at 70-73%. 9_5_22 Well, what more can I add that the pics do not say in a 1000words. It doing probably the best so far as response to adding extra EC has not been a missed opportunity. Also I'm looking forward and have bought a number of items that will bring my grows to the next level, if not on this run I'll get the basis of them like I did for my 1st grow and go in armed to the teeth the next round. Here's my plan of action thus far. I've also turned the light from 65% - 87.5%. Holding that lil bit of an extra kick for preflowering given with as much co2 time I can give them in their new homebox ambient 150+ 150x150x220 will allow me to go big and will widen in most areas what I can do with these girls. I'll be keeping a 50x50 space free in my tent for the 20l dehuimifier that will be running in the tent with my 800m3 6 inch EC/TEMP C9NTROLLED PRIMA KILMA intake fan will be turned on, by request OF the new automated dehuimdifying/temp controlled area which will allow me to grow in high co2 environment for at least 25 mins out of every 30. It'll all depend how quick my 3 co2 bags can bring up the ppm. And I'll only be doing this for preflower only then I'll go back to a negative pressure environment. 11_5_22 After a 2 day soft flush, I've upped the nutrient terra Power and all nutrient mixes up and plants are starting to show light defs. Nothing that's going to throw them into a stall or anything, and I don't want to overfeed neither. PPM I'm been careful with. 980 5.9 PH. 1020 ADVN 6.3ph 950 5.7ph jungle juice and terra power 15_5_22 She's doing great. Very healthy, really should have transplanted her a few days ago. Wk 3 VD15. All girls were transplanted and moved into their new home. A 150x150x220 homebox. And my 70x70x160 is in it also for the photos. It's going to allow me to have 2 different environments. While keeping RH high in the small tent and lower in the big. Atm the small tent is open and when I the autos start to flower I'll close up the small tent and try maintain a decent environment for both tents. I have a 20l dehuimifier that'll fit in the new tent and will keep the RH low. I have a negative pressure environment set up and will probably run it like that until the end. I got co2 bags but I don't have the strength in light atm to run a high co2 environment. All girls that were trans were given La Calavera aka (voodoo juice) 2ml/L poured in the hole (200ml) then put the girls in and gave another 200ml on top. Will give nutrients and top up feed in 2 days. 18/5/22 Figuring out how VPD works. You could read for hours about this stuff and still not dial it in for years. But here's the basics. VPD 0.4-0.8 kpa for early seedling. So under or around 23c and around 50-60 RH. atm my VPD is 1.05kpa and for most of my plants the optimal range is .8-1.1 kpa. Temp is 80 F 25C and RH is 70%. To find the perfect VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit)check out optimal ranges of VPD for growing stages, also your strain should have the optimal VPD. I don't have an infrared temp to check the LVPD (Leaf Vapor Pressure Deficit) that's a whole other ball game 20/5/22 Topped and applied LST over the space of 24hrs. 24/5/22 Defolated on the 20 day. Doing really well and looks very healthy really happy with how she's doing. Have lowered EC by .2 (100ppm). Will be keeping a close eye on her, currently she's under my SF-1000 light. Welcome to my Kosher Cake Diary. Be sure to drop a like so I can visit your diaries. Wk 4 VD23 25/5 Doing really well. Loving life and she a very nice plant to grow. Takes to LST and any light training like a champ. Very nice lady to have in anyone's garden. A beginners delight. Looks like she's coming into preflower gonna be a small harvest. 27/5/22 Made a new batch for feeds for this week. Brought it down to 810. Added Atlas, goddesslada, fire yields to jungle juice trio. Will give another Epson Salt feed this week also. Had to add PH + as it was only 4.3. Brought up to 6.2 keeping EC at 1.6/800ppm. 28/5/22 I know this is the 2nd round of Epsom Salt. But this one marks the start of a new weekly process I'll be adding. I usually do 2 feeds 2 water feeds mix em up over 8 days. So, for one of them water feeds will now be Epsom Salt. Every 2 weeks Calmag will be added with it instead, or just calmag by itself instead of Epsom. I've heard ppl swear by it and then some not. So, I'll make up my own mind. I'm overal happy with how I've done this grow. I've sat back much more and been very hands off. I think I'm going to scale it back down a lil.. too big for my needs. This 1 will be my shorty and we gonna c how dense we can get the buds with high co2 with negative pressure environment. Ye, I know the exhaust will take away from the co2 but the ambient co2 in the room is fairly high. I have 2 co2 exhale bags going and got my friends co2 meter wasn't home but my partner said he dropped by but couldn't leave it as he was passing through and took a measurement for me. 825 in the tent and 8-850 in the sealed grow room. 29/5/22 Yup, I was right days ago. She has more or less started flowering. 1st 1 to leave the veg stage. Thankfully I'm using jungle juice trio, so no need to flush grow nute, I'm going to even the nutrients ratios out and after a week I'll do 1 part grow to 3 parts bloom and fill micro. With a few Terra Power specials. 31/5/22 Coming to the last week in the 4th. She started flowering around D25 was showing signs she was coming into preflower have a video up to show what to look for to know when to flip to bloom nutrients. If I was running on GROW+BLOOM separate nutrients I'd of flushed with water for 2-3 days before you flip to bloom base nutrients but as these nutrients (jungle juice trio), it's just a case of changing the nutrients ratio. For the 1st wk of pre flower it's recommend you use half and half then 1rd grow to 3 parts bloom so that's 1ml grow to 3ml bloom (these are just ratios not the actual mls that will be used). I have started flushing my other grows that are showing signs of coming into pre flower. I'm still giving the grow&bloom base nutrient La Sirena as this is given through grow and bloom so no need to flush that out. Shes short. The way I want her. I had this 1 set at 30-35cm after wk 2 up until flower and I'll move her close to the light at 20cm as I have high co2. I know you need high PPFD to get the most out of it but the benefits are the same, (been able to withstand a higher temp/ higher RH/ higher PPFD) SO, hoping to get a short nice dense buds from top of canopy right down to the middle, everything below that has been stripped so dense buds throughout is the goal here not so much mass but quality and eye appeal. At 20cm the ppfd will be 11-1200. Not perfect I know but it'll give some sort of better bud quality. The rest are grown nice and big. All plants are 45-59cm just before coming into pre flower there's a few more that are still young so height is still yet to be seen. But the aim of the game is nice dense kosher cake bud. Welcome to my kosher cake diary. Shes a small 1. But I'm already liking her bud size, they look like there going to be big and compact as the internode are nice and tight. There is no small growth i even need to remove everything on her is nice and dense. Can't wait to see how she reacts to been put under the p1000 for flowering. Have started her on a lot of new bloom nutrients but kept the mix rather small, funny for the smallest she's been the only 1 not to show any tip burn yet most were given all the same strength, so she likes more nutrients, I find that to be the case with indica flower, sativas need more calmag, sulphur and micro nutrients. Shes been a true pleasure to grow, I'm just disappointed I only grew 1.

Coming into week 3. Doing really well, not burnt tips, no toxs/defs, touch bud. Could be a lot bigger but hey. She's doing well. Am going to up her EC this week by 250ppm or 0.5EC. Will continue on with the jungle juice trio but will be adding some silica and other terra power goodies. 11/6/22 Came into tent today and 3 plants were all droopy, 1st time yet I've dealt with this. I didn't take into account that the plants have been drinking more this week because of the lower RH i set. I knew that this would be a factor. As too high RH will trick your plant into thinking its at to feeding because there's too much moisture in the air and you come into the area of nutrient lock, not because your sub is short it's just your plant is not drinking. Anyways, I feed a 880ppm jungle juice feed. Ratios are up above, I also added some calmag and Epsom salt to bring it to 1050. PH + is needed Decided to add in some extra nutrient for bloom for this week. 13/6 Buds are coming along nicely. Short colas buds the buds will hopefully make for nice dense colas. Let's see. Will be able to add my SF1000 to the middle and this will also start to catch my spider farmer light to make for even better buds.

Dunno why she's growing so slowly. Bud seems to be getting nice a big. Let's see and wait for the end result though. Will keep up with this EC and feed every 2 days with water every 3 day. 16/6 As for height she has stopped growing. She is putting on nice fat dense buds. 18/6 Gave all plants a full Terra Power Enzyme boost. Well all the ones in this week range got 500ml of 115ppm 5 dif enzymes, (that's for 1 week or maybe a bit more) so just no run off. 19/6 have started to have to feed my plants everyday now the tent is drying things up so fast it's so hot. Thankfully I've a top notch dehumidifier but it's costing 5e a day to run it. I'm getting my AC unit this week so I'll be able to make up for the cost per gram in the terps when I have to run it im going to drop the temp to 18c this alone will force the RH way up but hopefully with the light it'll help and the dehumidifier I should be able to run 8hrs at low temps safely. 20/6/22 Gave her a nice base jungle juice feed today. Buds feel lovely and dense. Had a funny smell for a few days. Like a musty smell, it was weird. But all I can smell now is a type of sweet dough. You really can. It smells tops. As for frost, there is very little. But it seems to be the case for all the kosher cake grows I look at, it takes a few weeks to stack on frost.

Week 8 D50 25/6. I reckon this will be my first to harvest this time around. She is giving off a lovely sweet scent. She's my 1st kosher cake and I've yet to smell anything like this. At 1st I was worried. As the smell, was, well, musty. But it had developed very nicely. And will make for a very nice smoke, buds are starting to get denser so hopefully they'll keep getting fat. After 2 weeks I'm going to pull back on feeds and just water her off lightly for a week. Not much to do now but keep her diet up. She's under a drip tray now, so no more excess drying out. 1/6 She's has finished this week of in style. She has done just about all the fattening she's going to do. Into the ripening phase.. so time to drop some stuff and focus on core bloom boosters and base nutrients of course. Enzymes we are just about done with. We have 1 more week of Atlas then it's the end of enzymes for this lady. She has throw off some beautiful terps. My 1st grow were the bud is unmistakable. If you came across her in a bag of buds it wouldn't take long to pick her out. She is so sweet, its actually sickly so. Very very doughy smell. Absolutely gorgeous. Some of the nicest smells I've ever smelt. Except for that other perfect smell/taste every man loves. She's definitely my number 2, can't wait to taste her. It's taken a lot not to clip some off her. And have a sneaky taste. But I'm past that. Unless it's very close you shouldn't be hacking bits of your lady. Be like doing it to your Girlfriend. You don't cut the best parts off do you? She's going on triton, (overdrive) today. So, I'm hoping to push her. I haven't decided but I'm going to drop either saturn (big bud) or bac (bud candy) and focus the next 2 weeks of a high K ratio with some nice sugars as she's going on, poseidon (bud factor x), hopefully it'll even push that taste even more. She looks like she packing on the frost now. FYI, all my plants have tons of poxy pet hair. I turned off my air purifier for a week. And my god I'm paying the price for my mistake. Every single plant is covered in pet hair. When I trim I'm going to spend more time picking out dog hair than I will trimming. She actually hasn't got lots of trim. And short sugar leafs. She is mainly 80% bud. Amazing results. She's short, yes, I'd of liked a bigger girl. But I'm guessing she will give 70-80G. Yeah, it sounds a lot of such a short girl. But the weight alone of the plant alone tells me that. She actually has more weight than some of my 60+ grows that was started under my SF1000. Thanks for reading.

WK 9. FD 37 VEGD 24. VEGGED OUT AT 25CM. Didn't do much of a stretch in pre flower. She stopped growing 2-3 weeks into Flowering. Stopped growing before pre flower ended. Started her on triton (overdrive). Have decided to start single feeding her. 3 base nutrients together 1x a wk. 1 enzyme feed 2 bloom boosters once a wk (given different days), 1 resin enhancer a wk EC won't go above 1 now, I'll adjust PH to 6.7 every feed. And to finish the next 2 weeks off I'll give 1L split over the last day of the next 2 weeks. Getting ahead of myself. But for this week that's what I'm going to do. It's costing me a small fortune keeping RH at 50. I try my best not let get it above 55. But it hovers between 45-55. I know high, but I'm not willing to spend 7e a day to keep it at 35% will need constant running or at least 20hrs running as the girls are drinking a lot so lots of leaf transpiration. Nvr again will I run 14 plants in 2 dif. Poxy nightmare. 4/7 not much to report. Good week. She's stacking on trichomes and getting that elusive frost I've been waiting for. She has a lovely scent. Not too strong, my tent atm is been overtaken my ganja runtz. But I do get hints of it. And my post woman commented that this time round the smell is much more pungent. She said I'm just be growing a very fruity strain. Was surprised a 50+Yr old post woman knew so much about bud. Anyways, she took a little dive last week and about a 7g tester snapped off. Well, I did give it a little help. It HST'ed and then I gave it a little push. This was last week. Took a poxy week to dry, was so dense and heavy. So, even though it was very early. I can happily say I've made my 1st A grade bud. It is beautiful. It has so many colors going throughout it. If you ask me, it should be called kosher kush. It has that unmistakable tell tell of a kush. Bordering on a kinda blueberry exhale and strong on the inhale but like blowing out something cool and nice and gentle on the exhale that tastes completely different on the intake compared to outake (exhale). She is very sweet, very deep scented. Very very lovely. 5/7 After going through this little lady. I can happily say she is done. I have had her on triton (overdrive) since last week. And gave her a very high dose of 880ppm with triton & poseidon (overdrive&bud factor X) will finish her off with calmag+water for the next few days to continue on the photosynthesis as long as I can and then I'll cut the water and take her from there. She has gotten nice and frosty. I've even gotten in a simple flush or not to flush test. I cut 3 cuttings off 3 plants. And I'm going to dry/cure for 2 month and then I should have flushed bud with a cure and we'll see if it truly does benefit to flush or am I just wasting my time flushing, (FYI, I don't flush to get run off, I soft flush. I let the plant do the eating and finish what's left in the substrate. Let's see if she gets more frosty as she finishes up eating. Her trichomes are 95% cloudy on the top she's fully cloudy. I'm going to lower her away from the light for her last few days to preserve her trichomes. As she is done. 7/7 Still eating what's left in the soil. She's done as you can see. No end of life cycle. But it is early. But when it's done it's done. I will let it finish of eating what it had from this week 1 bloom triton (overdrive) which was high at 500+110 ambient water so was 610 altogether but she has been on a light calmag diet a few days now. Keeping on this right through till the middle of next week and the last 4 days of next week will just be on water. Thanks for reading gottagrowsometime

Week 10. Doing well. Just letting her finish up eating. As soon as I start to see any defs I'll know she'll be near her end and I'll do a run off test and if she falls into 2-350ppm in the run off (that's with ambient ppm of the water at 110ppm) so looking to see 150-250 left without ambient water added. Am keeping her on a 1ml/L 140ppm + 110ppm of the water feed to keep photosynthesis going while she keeps eating. Don't want to throw her into a full on hard flush as she's still ripening. And as soon as you hard flush, well, that's it, she's done eating and should be left. But by doing it this way. You can still keep with a healthy plant eating right up until the last few days. I have no idea what she will give in the way of weight. But this is her last week. If you are wondering why I cut her leafs, now, idk how true this is. But it replicates a pest attack and your plant returns in kind by beefing herself up with THC/RESIN as a way of fighting back. Now, be sure you leave enough growth that the energy is getting drawn in.. 64 days total now, and the end of the week will bring her to 70days. But she's done. And by right, could of been pult now but being it's full of silica and non organic nutrients you MUST get rid of most of that as possible. You won't notice a chemical cough until you get a month or 2 cure and all them heavy unnatural nutrients will end up in your lungs. Also, I smoke weed raw, I don't use tobacco to make splifs and that. So taste is everything to me. And I need a cure to bring out the best of my girls or else you'll taste the same thing throughout your plants, chemicals. Now, it really is up to you, but for me. Clearing up that substrate is a must to clean up your plant, especially with synthetic nutrients. NEED ADVICE I have some bud I clipped to fridge dry and if it goes well. I'm thinking this plant will be fridge dried as she is small enough to fit in and dry at 5c. If anyone has any issues with this please please tell me, as I've never done it. Should I just put half the plant in to test it? Or will it be okay whole? My worries are no air flow??? Thanks for reading and clicking onto my diary. Was looking forward to harvesting this 1. She has being ripening the last 2 weeks. And the frost has hit heavy in the ripening period. I never had any issues with this lady.. Flawless run other than a bit of nutrient burn. Getting used to soil growing. I didn't focus on the roots as soon as I figured out she was root bound after I uppotted her I didn't loosen the soil and it was stuck in a root ball in the middle. Only a few root strans ran under the bottom of the 9L pot. I hung dry it whole, in my spare bathroom upstairs. It has no windows and stays between 17-20c if you keep the fan that exchanges the air. And the RH stays between 60-70RH. I broke off a node and broke it down and stuck and nice dense bud in the fridge at 5c and then the rest of that node went into the quick electric dryer. Was only a few grams wet so I don't mind getting an early taste. I don't know how long the bud in the fridge will take to dry but I'd say the hang dried will take a week. Smoke report to come with dry weight. I'll be breaking 10-15grams of this and the rest will be put to the cure 4-6 weeks depending. I'll be for sure giving this one another run in a few weeks.
