05/04/2022 - 80 days old mother plants. Just finally recovered from nutrients lockout and pH issues. 3 Liters of water at pH 6.5 for each plant.
05/05/2022 - Due to a possible P/K and various micro deficiency, decided to add light nutrients of the followings; Grow 0.25 ml/L, Bloom 0.5 ml/L, Shield 0.5 ml/L, B52 0.5 ml/L = 250 ppm pH 6.0. 1.5 Liters for each plant.
05/06/2022 - Top dress with 5 tsp of my espresso ground. Foliage spray with 1ml/L CalMag and seaweed. Skip watering today.
05/07/2022 - Foliage spray with seaweed and mild CalMag. Top soil is dry but feel like the bottom is still moist, so just 1.5 liters of pH 6.5 this evening.
These two mothers are now 87 days since Valentines' Day. Recovered from pH imbalance in mid-April, but still fragile and some minor P/K deficiency here and there, but getting back on their feet OK so far. Trying to give them some light nutrients with NPK of no more than 300 ppm and doing my best to maintain pH 6.5 regular water.
- Room condition is 25 Celsius / RH 70%
- 3.0 Liters of pH 6.5 watering every other day.
- Foliage spray daily with seaweed and very mild CalMag solution.
- Mild nutrients of 300 ppm based on observation of leaves condition (so far about 5-10 days).
- Light Intensity is 850 ppfd.
Their clone babies are doing well. Clones' leaves are much bigger than their mothers. I dont' know why the leaves on these two mothers are so small and won't spread fully especially the one on the right, which seem to be stunt growth, too. Just wish these two mother's will be fluffy again.
12 May 2022 - Day 88, since these two mothers are starting to reach the tent space's limit, I decided to take 7 main branches from each plant to do some cloning. Hopefully this HST will give the plant to grow more evenly.
It seems that as my mother plants are now fully recovered from pH imbalance and nutrient over dose, but the leaves are never fluffly and fully spread again. It also seems that the leaves size is very small. Their clones have much bigger leaves and fully spreaded. Why so?
hi there MyKetb , basically you have some sort of root problems from all the fluctuations and issues you had before. So now you need to remove the problem roots. To fix this in a good way try to water with only humic acid twice in a row, then resume your mother plant schedule as before. Do this and normally it will take one week to recover. Keep going. Up the watering from 3.0 to 4.5 L with minimal run-off.
May 18th, 2022, Run-off check pH 7.3 and 950 ppm. Lowered light intensity to 450 ppfd to slowdown the growth a bit to maintain the plant size.
May 20th, 2022, sprinkle about 1 tablespoon of fulvic/humic acid and amended to top soil, will see how it goes in a couple of weeks. Plants are drinking well (4.0 - 4.5 litres every other day, pH 6.5 of course).
