I lost my previous plants to an infestation of leaf septoria during week 2 of veg., which spread from a different grow. I'm using my remaining seeds and new soil to attempt it again. I will not be placing these pots in the grow tent until the plant with septoria is ready for harvest, removed and the tent is thoroughly cleaned out.
5/5:
-2 seeds placed in dechlorinated water for 24 hrs.
5/6:
-Transferred seeds into damp paper towels.
5/7:
-Noticeable taproots showing.
-Will be placing into medium tonight or tomorrow.
-Update: Transferred the seeds to their 5 gallon pots with a little bit of Great White to help root development.
5/14:
-Both plants growing quite well in my room so far. Fantastic growth, esp for only using a 32w GE Grow Light to start.
5/15:
-Watered both plants with dechlorinated tap water.
5/18:
-Watered both plants with dechlorinated tap water. Will be giving them a very small amount of bottled nutrients next feeding.
5/22:
-Watered both plants with dechlorinated tap water.
5/26:
-Both plants have been placed into the new grow tent.
-Will update the grow light settings.
-Watered both plants with dechlorinated tap water, with 1tbsp/gal of 3% Hydrogen Peroxide.
5/29:
-All plants are now on a timer to make sure the lights go on and off at the same time everyday.
-Watered both plants with solution of 2mL/gal of Grow Big and 1mL/gal of CalMag @ 6.6 pH.
6/1:
-Watered all plants with dechlorinated tap-water (~7.0pH) with some Great White added in to help supplement the soil.
6/4:
-Watered all plants with a solution of 4mL/gal of Grow Big and 1tbsp/gal of Big Bloom @ 6.7pH.
6/5:
-Began LST on both plants.
-Both plants are growing incredibly well so far.
6/6:
-Very minor defoliation to create a better canopy.
6/8:
-Watered both plants with 3mL/gal of Grow Big, 2mL/gal of CalMag and some Great White at around 6.3pH.
-Removed a couple of leaves on each plant to create better light exposure.
6/9:
-Plant 2 has been weird during its' growth cycle, however the plant is huge in comparison to the others so far. For example, early on when the plants were seedlings under the 32w GE Grow Light, that particular plant COMPLETELY halted the growth of its' main cola and instead started to focus its' growth on nodes below (around week 2 of veg). It NEVER resumed growth on the main cola either. In essence, the plant pretty much topped itself, seemingly without causing itself any stress. As a result, the plant has formed its' own two main colas and is currently flourishing compared to the other plants. Meanwhile the other plants are doing great, just not as amazing as this girl. Even though the pictures above are a few days old, they really give you a good idea of what I mean.
6/12:
-Second round of LST begun.
-Watered all plants with 2mL/gal of Tiger Bloom, 2mL/gal of CalMag and 1tbsp/gal of Big Bloom at ~6.5pH.
-Plant 2 looks absolutely fantastic and is growing incredibly well!
6/15:
-Watered all plants with about 1tsp/gal of molasses and some Great White.
6/18:
-Watered all plants with 2mL/gal of Grow Big, 2mL/gal of Tiger Bloom and 2mL/gal of CalMag at ~6.5pH.
-Minor defoliation and more LST where necessary.
6/19:
-Plants began pre-flower around 3-4 days ago, showing exponential growth.
6/21:
-Watered all plants with dechlorinated tap-water around 7.0pH.
6/24:
-Watered all plants with 3mL/gal of Tiger Bloom, 2mL/gal of CalMag and 2mL/gal of Big Bloom at ~6.5pH.
6/25:
-All plants are starting their flowering height growth, and as a result are gaining quite a bit of height!
6/26:
-All plants are continuing to gain a lot of height.
-Will defoliate some more during tomorrows watering.
6/27:
-Watered all plants with dechlorinated tap water at ~7.0pH.
-Heavy defoliation to the center of the canopy; both plants.
6/30:
-Watered all plants with 4mL/gal of Tiger Bloom, 2.5mL/gal of CalMag and 1tbsp./gal of Big Bloom at ~6.6pH.
7/3:
-Watered all plants with dechlorinated tap water at ~7.0pH.
-Lower leaves are losing their green luster, some turning yellow; also leaf tips showing signs of nutrient excess or deficiency. Without any testing, I believe it's a mixture of both macro and micro nutrient deficiency, will very slightly increase the nutrients during next feeding.
7/6:
-Watered all plants with 7mL/gal of Tiger Bloom, 2mL/gal of Big Bloom and 4mL/gal of CalMag at ~6.4pH.
7/8:
-Watered all plants with dechlorinated tap water at ~7.0pH.
7/10:
-Watered all plants with dechlorinated tap water with some pH Down at ~6.5pH.
7/12:
-Watered all plants with dechlorinated tap water with some pH Down at ~6.6pH.
7/14:
-Watered all plants with a solution of 4mL/gal of Tiger Bloom, ~2mL/gal of Big Bloom and 3.5mL/gal of CalMag at ~6.4pH.
7/16:
-Watered all plants with dechlorinated tap water and some pH Down at ~6.6pH.
7/17:

-Journal update is going to be a day late, because tomorrow is going to harvest day! It would be pointless to start a new week when it technically isn't one.
This strain was my favorite FastBuds strain to grow so far! I plan to try a few others, but regardless it was easy to grow and produced fat and GORGEOUS buds! Looking forward to drying and curing to smoke some!! Will post yields after drying is completed. 👌
The larger plant was 66.5g.
The smaller plant was 33g.
Total yield was 99.5g for the two plants.
This grow was my favorite of the 5 or 6 grows I've done so far! I've grown 3 other FastBuds strains as well and this one was my favorite to grow by far! It was VERY easy to tend to, I encountered some nutrient burn on one of the plants but not the other, but that tends to happen as I increase the feeding schedule, some autos handle it well and others just don't. Either way, after pulling back on the nutrients the plant grew just as well! Love growing this strain overall and hoping the taste is as good as the grow was!
@Nightabsm, honestly mate your making the right choice the way I look at it is I'm on a schedule and if they aren't to my liking in the first 2 weeks then out they go.
Anytime mate people may think differently than me but that's just my thoughts.
If you check my afghan run you will see that I had 3 and 1 didn't work out and it should have been flowering lol now that was hard to swallow so from then on in I won't let that happen again, waste your time and upkeep and for what lol
I ended up pulling 8.5 oz dry off my 2 girls and that compensated for losing one 😎😎😎🤜🤛
@Green_fiend,Hahaha! No, thank you! I've been debating it with the g/f for a few days now, but I couldn't come up with a definite answer. I'll cull it and I honestly appreciate the advice! You make a great point, I have other seeds I can plant in the same pot and move into a seperate tent. They'll more than likely be FAR larger if they aren't to encounter any issues.

@Nightabsm, I feel your pain mate but if it was me I would do away with it.
Before this grow I planted 2 mephisto avt and after two weeks I wasn't impressed so I pulled them and started my gorilla cookies and to be honest it was the best thing my ladies are triple the size there were at 14 days, actually planting to top them tonight I will see.
You my lose one mate but you just give the others extra care and they will make up for it.
And I just wanna thank you for asking my advice, makes me feel like people know what I'm taking about 🤜🤛
