See all the pictures to see my new Drip to Drain system and the seedlings.
Hey guys and girls, I'm at it again with another Auto Night Queen grow. This time 10 of my own home grown seeds from my other 6 Night queen grow (Harvest coming soon). The seedlings are at about day 3. One seed didn't sprout so I replaced her and she will be a few days behind.
I got a Dehumidifier for this run but it creates some heat in my grow room. We will just have to see how it goes.
I found a few seeds in my Incredible Bulk Auto so I'm growing just one too see how she turns out.
This is my first time in Coco Coir (30% perlite added) If anyone has any tips or techniques let me know in the comments. Thanks
Its Day 10.
This is my first full coco grow. I watered them with nutes a little too early and killed one and burnt 2 others at the tips so I am germinating a seed now to replace the one I killed. I think I needed to wait until day 8 or maybe even 10 I'm not sure. I will have to do some homework too make sure this does not happen again.
Other then that the grow is going pretty good.
I am still upgrading my grow room.
I got a large roll of thick Mylar so I put it too some good use but now I have to turn the lights out to take pictures now. It gets super bright in there now.
On Amazon right now you can get 2 Lightimetunnel 300W led grow lights, 140 real watts each!! for $49.00 shipped! So I ordered 10 for $245, They are very powerful, heavy and look like they were built to last. You cant beat that deal. Trust me.
I have already started replacing some of my lights. If you need any led lights check them out they are amazing quality for the price.
Day 17.
I got new grow lights they seem to be responding well too them. I'm now pulling 775watts from the wall for these 10 girls.
Bunch of tiny little bushes. The bottoms part of my pots are staying pretty wet. So I have only had to water every 10 days or so. They are getting a light mist of PH water every day or 2, Temps have been very high lately hitting mid to upper 90s F right before the lights go out every day. They don't seem to mind much. I hope for some big growth in the next week.
They are growing really slowly. I'm pretty sure I had too much light on them and they got some heat stress. I raised the lights and seem to be doing better. I'm not feeding them much at this point. The leaves seem thin. I have come too the conclusion that these Night Queens don't seem to like Advanced Nutrients or my grow environment or maybe I don't know how to grow them correctly. Maybe I can turn this grow around. I hope they stretch this upcoming week.
Going to try video update this week. let me know if you like it.
Day 30, Day 24, Day 17- Good growth this week. Most are budding up. They are still pretty small but happy.
I am feeding them 5-7 gallons distributed between the 10 of them every 2 days or when the coco feels like its starting to drying out.
Outside temps have come down the past week so it has been much cooler lately.
I have been feeding them a little less then a gallon a plant every 24-30 hours. The pots are staying pretty wet at the bottom. If any start to dry out before the others I will top feed it.
Well some of them look ok. Not going to get much out on any of these girls. I'm not sure I will be growing Night Queen again. I have had better luck with other strains in my grow environment. I think Coco/Soil mix works better then just coco alone. They do smell awesome tho
Only 6 remain. The young one is still getting Nutrients. The rest are getting only 6.0ph water.
The ones I chopped were pretty frosty and smell really good.
These last 2 girls smell very good. The other 8 are Drying and Curing. I'm going to harvest the 2 soon with friends.
The other 8 are drying and curing and let me tell you, What they lack in size they try to make up in Dank Quality.
I will try to get some good bud shots when they cure some for the harvest update.
This was my first Coco grow and definitely a learning experience for me. Yields were very low but quality was very high. Each one gave 20-35g.
I'm going to be growing again in coco very soon armed with the knowledge I got from this grow.
