Day 1 - Put in paper towel. Spray wet and place between 2 plates.
Day 3 - Seed germed.
Day 5 - placed in rapid rooter and planted in Happy Frog soil in nursery bag.
Day 6 - We have breakthrough and she is starting out strong already upright and tall in 24 hrs.
Transplanted into 5 gal pot of my custom soil. The roots penetrated the bottom and sides of the nursery bag.
Day 18 - She's picking up growth speed. She's showing off her fat indica leaves now. Short internodal spacing with nice undergrowth appearing now. So fat very little watering as transplanted soil was still moisture from cooking for 3 weeks.
I added a custom blend of organic ferts to the soil that included: Neem Seed Meal, Crab and Shrimp meal, Langbeinite, Seabird and Bat Guano Cave Mix, 5-1-1 Bat Guano, Fishbone Meal, Dolomite Lime, Basalt Rock Dust, Azomite. I added 1 cup of Dr Earth Tomato and Veg Ferts for the Humic acids, myco and bacteria colonies for cooking. Plus it has some Calcium, Magnesium and Sulfur to get them started.
I'm thinking of making organic banana tea from banana peels or Dr Earth Bud and Bloom compost tea right before the flip so they are supercharged for flower.
Topped her this week. I haven't watered her in 5 days. Moisture meter still reading wet. Going to let her grow roots into the moist cooked organic soil. No signs of needing watered yet.
Never missed a beat after topping. I cut off the single serrated leaves and the lowest side branches to focus energy towards the top.
She's looking healthy and strong. She's sucking up the Nitrogen as she's got a couple claws going. I am still using just plain water. I think there's plenty of N in the soil I made.
Update: she's full on bush like a 70s girl. Idk where to trim to open her up a bit.
I tied down the lower branches to open her up a bit and see if I can get her to spread out a bit before flipping in 2 to 4 weeks.
To start week 6 I watered her 1 gal 6.5pH
Then I defoliated under the canopy removing undergrowth that doesn't get much light.
Then I LSTd her real good to make all branch tops at the same height.
She's not stretching very much. No increase since yesterday.
Matches the breeders info very well.
She's small compact and very symmetrical.
Definitely a great plant to grow with limited height.
I have put her on a bucket to get her closer since the Blueberry Cheesecake next to her is 2X her size and I had to move the lights to the ceiling of the tent

End of week 3 flower. Budlets are formed and she's not stretching anymore.
She's locked in at 2 ft.
I made a mix of 4 cups of Dr Earth Pot of Gold and added to 12 cups of water to make 1 gal solution. Then I added flower nutes 15 ML of Alaskan Fish Morbloom
Total ppm was 1500

She's a beautiful stocky plant. She definitely fits the size and structure of her Afghani lineage.
The budding looks just like the Purple Kush I grew last time.
Which means lots of trimming little leaves lololol.
Starting week 7 of flower
She's getting frosty. Still mainly white pistils. Looks like I need to cut back on the nutes. Seeing brown tips but overall the leaves are healthy.
She still has a 2 to 4 weeks left so the buds should continue to swell and harden.
This girl continues to impress. Awesome genetics. She's 50% orange pistils now. Still finishing up and swell some more yet.
Smell still medium strength.
Still giving her good PK dose. Added some Grow Big for a little Nitrogen.
Ppm dose was 1400 after subtracting 200 for my water.
The Aurora Indica is turning out amazing. More pistils turning burnt orange. Looks beautiful. Nice chunky hard nugs.
Her smell has picked up the last 2 days. Her resin production is kicking up now.
Humidity has been reduced to 45%.
Next week I'm pushing humidity down to 35% to fuel more resin production.
Colas have decent weight now.
Week 10 Flower
She's maturing nicely.
Smells wonderful and she's packing on the trichromes. A few bud tops are turning whiter due to the high amount of milky trichs. Only a few ambers. Senescence hasn't completely kicked in yet but lower fan leaves starting to get yellow.
Pistils are a nice reddish brown color. This Aurora is going to be potent.
Excellent genetics and breeding from Nirvana with this strain. Can't wait to try her out for a good night's sleep
The Aurora Indica strain from Nirvana Seeds is definitely a well bred strain. Perfect symmetry. The bud structure was amazing. Sticky icky red brown hairs dense nugs. She was easy to grow and handled a heavy flowering nutrient feeding easily. She was exactly like the breeder describes it. Perfect for anyone with limited grow height. She was 2ft tall and yielded 500g wet still.
I highly recommend Nirvana Seeds strains based on this grow.
Zkittlez from Nirvana Seeds is coming after my trip to the Philippines next month.
