The plant on the right side is root bound and never established a good root system. It is very stunted compared to the other two. Also, I had an issue with the lights being to close and the plants never really stretched into the screen as much as I wanted it to .

What is considered the correct time to top an auto flower when doing a SCROG. I have read that you should not, but I am seeing more success stories then failures.

Hi SaulGoodman2022, I would advice you to NOT top(HST) autoflowers,but do some LTS(bending) instead. But if you really know what you are doing you can top them like @Hashy said in week 2 or 3 depending on size plant. Goodluck growing :)
