I will be using build a soil products on this grow. I am not sponsored. I have had really good luck with their stuff.
I have added stage specific microbes, enzymes, and a wetting agent to my fertilization schedule this round.
Got some pests. Hoping they are thrips. Gonna dose with Monterey spinosad as soon as I think they can handle it.
Seems to be getting some steam now.
I applied Monterey Spinosad and so far no new thrip damage and no live visible at this point.
The seedlings didn't seem to mind.
I expect I will transplant into 1 gallon pots of Build a Soil 3.0 recipe next week.
This lady has not needed anything since transplant except water. She's looking good despite the bugs... about that:
The flowering tent is down so there was a much more effective application of Monterey spinosad to kill the thrips.
You can tell the thrip damage as white spots or streaks on the leaf. Sometimes a waxy looking coating is present as well.
Thrips themselves are VERY small... not quite microscopic as adults though, they look like tiny orange-ish brown rice shaped specks.they will move if you bother them.
At any rate, the science experiment is over and a respectful farewell to the infestation is in order. It's over.
I expect to transplant to 3 gallons next week. She should be close to flower time in 2 to 3 weeks.
This lady has really stretched!!! She is now the tallest plant in the room.
Transplanted into Build a Soil 3.0 a few weeks ago.
Yesterday she got Rootwise Bio-Phos(Microbes) and Quillaja extract(saponins)
Looking gorgeous!!!!
Last week she got Microbes and Quillaja.
This week,I top dressed with 2 cups of Build a flower.
I mixed 3 gallons of build a bloom tea at a rate of 1 tsp per gallon which I'll apply tomorrow after it aerates for 30 hours.
All good :)
This lady is stacking nicely, however yield will be effected by a couple herms that blew pollen in this tent.
This is one of the heavily effected plants.
That said, the size and structure are wonderful. But the real surprise to me was the smell!!
This thing smells like fruit punch!! I want to pour a glass of it.
Super excited to run this again. Not sure if it will go another test round or right into breeding with a Blue Moonshine male.
We'll see how this seeded lady smokes :)
Week 8:
She just keeps growing!!!
I trained this into two main tops and it really decided that it would use all of that space.
The smells coming off htis lady have me drooling.
It is 2nd most sweet and fruity boquet I have ever smelled.(Cherry Sumo was #1)
Really excited for this lady to come down.
@JamMAKEcan, It'll be a great one to test then. I added a quillaja extract, stage specific microbes and enzymes this round(Rootwise stuff).
If anyone was ever gonna burn a plant with organics, this would be how 😅
I want to start pushing limits now that I have a system I love.
Never stop learning!! Happy harvests bro!
Another unbelievable genetics .. This plant is mad strong.. Grows real fast tons of side branches eats alot of nutriends produces massive fruity colas.. This i gaurantee u will love
@JamMAKEcan, Gawd that's a big lady!! Indoors or out? Mine won't get that large. I am guessing around 3 feet. Branching is substantial considering I only topped her once as a tiny seedling. We'll see. I have heard good things 😎
@JamMAKEcan, Thanks man! Everything you said is correct about this lady... including the fact that I'd love it!!
Without smoking any of the tent, she is already my favorite in there
@Doctors_Choice, This pheno really loves growing straight up.
Next run, I'll see how see does with more tops.
The sweet tropical smells off of this girl are competing for #1 most fruity wonderful herb I have ever seen.
Fire genetics!!! 👌💪👊
