I had problems with high humidity. Replaced fan and filter with stronger ones. No problems with smell anymore. Day 35: cut off thin deformed leaves. Continuing LST Day 39: 2l water Day 41: she is growing, no signs of preflower

Hey fellow growers. It is day 16 since sprouting. The development looks good, but I see discolouration of older leaves. I researched a bit, and it seems to be thrips? I searched really good but I cannot spot any insects. What do you think? Preventively use insecticide or wait?

High little pot, This damage is done by thrips. You can see them walking on the leaves and their eggs at the bottom of the leaves. You can kill then really easy within 1 week with neem oil. It is cheap and 100% organic. Just buy neem oil with a emulsifier. Make a 3% neem oil solution with water. Spray the leaves (top and bottom) every day for 1 week. End result after 1 week is death thrips and happy plants! Happy Growing! 😋

Today I noticed that smallest leaves are getting brown tips. Yesterday I sprayed her with diy insecticide against thrips(soap, alcohol and h2o2). Could it be light burn or nutrient burn? She grows in bio bizz all mix which is heavy fertilized, and gets no extra nutrients.

Have to agree with Organoman here... either use some Spinosad or Dr. Zymes or SOMETHING that is made for spraying plants that does NOT contain alcohol! Both Spinosad and Dr. Zymes will take care of thrips (and spider mites and aphids and and and) and both are organic. If you get the concentrated versions, mix them exactly as directed... Good luck!

Almost all new leaves are extremely thin on base. On some nodes only 1 finger is developed. Some new leaves curl down like claws. I suppose these leaves developed from baby leaves burned by alcohol spray week ago. But maybe it is smthg else? Should I maybe cut them off?

This seems to be a reoccurring theme on this grow, sorry to see it is not yet solved. Given your updated info from the previous question with this same problem we can almost certainly rule out that it is from any pests above ground as the sprays on the plants have been applied and the traps to catch them are empty. I am going to say the same thing as last time, I think this is a weird mutation of the plant caused by something in the root zone, Maybe PH, maybe fungal, maybe root aphids, maybe soil compaction and maybe overwatering... Or maybe a combination of multiple things listed above. I do not think it is pest in the canopy area, and I do not think it is going to get better the more you spray them. I would stop spraying them all together unless you see pests in the grow room. a preventive spraying/watering of BTi once a month/week is ok but only on lights off. Are you noticing anything weird in the medium? is it draining well? Does it have a weird smell? If you dig into a small part of the pot, are the roots crisp and breaking like small threads or are they soggy and soft like over cooked pasta? Are you monitoring your PH? or using any PH adjusters like ph up/ph down or any other acids/bases for a DIY perspective in this grow? If you have any runoff are you noticing anything strange from it? Do you have a TDS pen to test it for its EC or PPM count? Also where did you get these seeds? Bag seed? From a breeder? What breeder was it? She has droopy leaves. There are leaves with brown places, and some leaves in the middle of canopy turned yellow. At last she started preflower in week 8(auto) but compared to another girls she is very slow with pistils. Some leaves are curling up.Maybe too much light?

Little_Pot... this one is getting far too much nitrogen - she's not liking it and is trying to tell you that with her droopy leaves and yellowing. She's been locked out of calcium because there's too much nitrogen in her soil - so do a flush - for her, that means giving her 9 gallons of pH'd water at one sitting ... wait until she dries out completely and then restart your nutes BUT cut the grow nutes in half and I would actually double your bloom nutes.. Good luck!

1 week ago she started to get small brown points on older top leaves, and I moved her away from light to exclude light burn. Now there are a lot more of them. I flushed her 5 weeks ago, now she is getting full dosage of nutes. But these points look like nutrient deficient to me.

https://www.alchimiaweb.com/blogen/deficiencies-excesses-cannabis/ Check this graphics out... seems cal mag is needed if you feed her regularly and recommended dose, most of time the problem comes from cal mag deficiency. they need cal mag to process the nutrient
