Showing strong growth… roots were very well established when potting up from solo cups. Due to growth, and the fact that I plan on topping soon, I added Cal-mag to ensure it has strong uptake of the nutes provided.
These gals absolutely blew up this week both in growth and vigor.
Solid stems and internodes forming strong. Just topped them this morning 8/7. Looking forward to seeing how they respond as I heard this strain loves stress and they’ve been so resilient this far… fingers crossed! Also the rumors are true, they’re loving the cal mag
Was able to top both plants at the end of week 3. Both recovered beautifully and I potted up to their final pot size on 8/13. Debating doing second topping or a fimming so soon due to the great vigor and stamina in this strain. Very happy resilient plant.
One on the left is showing true indica traits while the one on the right seems to be more of a 50-50 hybrid. Both same strain but is what you can get sometimes with phenotypes, am I right?
Lastly, week 6 veg will bring LST and scrogging net to start manipulating as I want to control the stretch and have the canopy as low and even as possible.
Came back great from second topping and some fimming as well. Loving this strain. Second netting going up this afternoon and switching to flower this evening…. These girls are thiiiiiirsty!!! And of course true to the rumors they live the cal mag!!
Just trying to control the canopy in the 3rd week of the stretch.
Plants are very happy and thriving well…. Pistol central and getting bigger each day! Can’t wait to start seeing these buds swell!
This week it has been crazy to see the growth that these plants are putting out. Bigger and fatter flowers each and every day.
I did however run into a little bit of light burn, due to being an indoor grow… however I rigged the lights as high up as possible and hopefully that will solve the issue…
Otherwise happy and healthy and my god do they live the cal mag!!!
One plant got a lil but of light burn so have been removing those leaves from her otherwise they’re looking good.
Really pumping with the nutes atm… incredible bulk, ff big bloom and then black strap molasses for some extra frosting on them.
Soooooooo this week I found one or two very small male sacs that popped up on my one lady, pinched it off and am hoping for the best keeping a suuuper close eye on things as I really don’t want to harvest early…
This week the buds bulked up, more resin and seem to finally be showing some color with the Cooling of the temps naturally.
The plant on the right had gotten some light burn so that’s why some of the leaves are lookin burnt.
Plant on the left might be the one of the most beautiful I’ve witnessed flowering yet. Can’t wait to see what the next couple of weeks bring!!!
Can not wait for harvest!!! Pulled the plug 10/23 and will let them sit in the dark to extract as much resin as possible.
I’ve come to the decision that I will be dry trimming just due to the slower process and preserving flavors.
Plus after doin a lot of research wet trimming hurts the buds and creates oxidization that kills flavor and aroma that you will never get back no matter how long you cure it.
These results need the due diligence of a proper dry and cure so again dry trim it will be!!!
Plant one produced amazingly tight solid buds while plant two did as I thought and produced more of a sativa type bud. Still resinous in its coating so looking forward to trying in a month and they should be good to go by Xmas!
