Welcome to my unnamed test strain from GreenHouseSeeds. This is a cross between watermelon zkittlez x velvet moon
LST,LOLLIPOPPING, TOPPING & DEFOLIATION
So there is a, few ways you can go about what you use for LST (low stress training). It's exactly what it says it is. So it needs to be low stress. So, normally the time for this is around the 15-30D period and also the speed of your growth will play a part in it. Now, you'll do much more LST but to lock in that shape, or if you want to start bending nodes sides ways so they aren't stacked up on top of each other, this needs to be done early on. As for what you use, most ppl use the green sponge ties, but, if you have garden twine, making a loop and throwing it around your node, then put the end of the twine through the hoop you made, and loosely pull it, (make sure that there's enough space for the node to grow in your loop, so not to tight) and then tie your them nodes down through holes in your pot either by drilling or tie a string around the pot so you can then tie the nodes down onto that. Now don't worry after you pull out the nodes, it'll look all over the place, but after 24hrs that girl will be facing up towards the light......LOLLIPOPPING, Now is also a good time to start removing growth that's low down and close to the main stem that holds all the nodes, growth like that, can be removed, it'll only help your end product, so light lollipopping is also good, and some basic clearing up. (Any nodes you do remove clearly you'd remove the leaf below it). And make for what look like a nice shaped girl that buds will be on the outside on the bottom and the further you go up the more growth you can leave cause the light will hit that no problem. And also anything at the end of your node, is catching the last of the energy passing through said node(s) so you'd only remove nodes that start at the beginning, letting the energy go past that and onto more important buds sites that will do better cause they are getting more light. Now, as for defoliation. DEFOLIATION, This is widely debated, if if you are growing outdoors, all LST, defol and lollipop is not really necessary. As the sun moves, so, that's pretty much all that, kinda no need for, unless you have a monster, then you can shape her. But why you defol can be important inside, as less leafs means, less evaporation and you'll have a lower RH and it'll also help with airflow and of course allow light to hit bud sites, but with good LST and some light lollipoppoing I find, you really don't have to do much, early on, after you've noticed the nodes above them big leafs have grown some, remove the big leafs to allow light in to the lower nodes as early on your plant is still small and tight so it can be stacked up on each other.. but as you can see, I don't bother much anymore removing leafs early on like I use to. There's just no need for it at this stage of growth. I will go into it in more depth if needed, when it needs to be applied to this grow. But good LST and targeted stripping will be more of the way I'm going with this girl early on.. topping I think is something thats essential in females. As why grow 1 big cola that will take most of the energy and the other nodes will be a lot smaller but when you can have 10 decent sized colas that will weight much more than 1 big cola and a load of small ones, as the energy goes evenly through your entire grow. Now, you can top again, as I did here, so when you pick a node to top, you must mirror it on the otherside. (That pretty much goes the same for lollipoppoing & HST) It does much better energy distribution wise if everything is even. So from the bottom set of nodes, I'll be getting 4 nodes now and same goes for the 3rd set and the 2nd set will be shaped in between the 1st&3rd. You don't have to do this, but if you are, I suggest you take any stems of the before you top as you'll need to make sure it has a little bit of length to make a nice strong branch to hold the 2 nodes you will get from the 1st and it'll allow energy to be focused on growing what you did top.
Week 4 Veg Days 22-27, girl is doing much better now. I topped her again on the 1st & 3rd sets and and lollipopped the 1st set of internodes on both sets and topped above the 2nd internodes. Also I rotated the pots, so I think that had a difference also. Have taken a few leafs during the week just to open her up. Decided was time to do some shaping. And LST'ed a few nodes and lollipopped some also with the ones I topped, so they will turn into 8 nodes, 4 on the 1st set and 4 on the 3rd set and the 2nd set will be left untopped and will be put into the spaces between the 1st & 3rd sets so they don't stack up on each other, also I'll be Flmimg'ing the top on both top nodes, very lightly. She's healthy looking, as that's what I was waiting for, to come back into optimal range.(now, you don't have to have her in tiptop, but, does it help, big time, as she will put all her energy into what I did.... she's nearly at 30cm. Was topped above the 5th and the 1st&2nd sets were removed early on, so really above the 7th really. Gave her a light dose of Epsom salts and cal from GHS. 280ppm &110 ppm ambient tap. So 390ppm total. PH 6.66 100ml. Also was given bioenhancer on Day25 100ml.. Cause the RH is so high. The soil is staying much wet for longer then id like, as I can see defs coming cause they not getting enough nutrition. Might drop RH back down to 60. Won't water again for a few days. That's all for this week, thanks for reading.
UPDATE DAY 28 So, the cal & Epsom salt seems to have fixed. But it looks like I picked up an iron Def. My water PH is on optimal window, and never changes. So, looks like I'm just going to have to use some Synthetic fix. I have the whole GHF mineral line. I only need the FE (iron) from it. And as I've let the soil dry out anything I do give i have to be careful. As it'll absorb anything, so I chose the booster they give its 0-30-25 it has lots of micro nutrients and the highest amount of what I am needing for this pheno. Her sister is perfect, isn't showing any of these signs, none of my plants are. I thought the bioline would of been enough, well, it is, cause its only doing 7 others, and doing a great job. Just this pheno seems to be some trouble. Hopefully in next weeks update you'll see a healthier plant.....touch bud!! So, I've applied a 290ppm, &110ambient tap from the bottom and I poured in on the top. I poured roughly 150ml on the spill tray and she drank it all and another 250ml on top, PPM was 404 and I ph'ed it to 6.7 with biobizz ph+ as it was giving a low 6ish on my pen, used 2 drops to bring it up to desired level....hoping this will be it's fix.
Thanks to my sponsors from green House seeds and marshydro led lights/ tents & to both reps I dealt with, thanks very much.
Feel free to DM regarding anything about the FC 3000 or read my recent reviews I explain how good it is. Gave me a 3.8G/W and I only ran 5 plants under her, and 1 was a micro 20g grow..(on advice from GHS I went ahead and gave hybrid powder, same ppm feed as above. And I also will give a cal&Epsom salt 400ppm feed in 2 days.)

Back in the early 2000s the GreenHouseSeeds , where my go to breeder back then , it's been awhile but I should put them back into rotation 🤔 Looking good Happy Growing my friend 👊
These again look buzzing. I've been looking for some fruity strains, not done fems yet. Thinking chuck 3 or 4 in after the 6 autos come out. Looking forward to seeing the end result.
