BioGrow - Green House Feeding
BioGrow 10 mll
Hi, welcome to my Kush Mint X Gelato#41 Sponsored diary from Green House Seeds. With this diary, I'll be going over some things, that I find will give you best results with fems. If you want a good steady female, I highly suggest you top your lady, as she will give you much more, as you control the flip, therefore, you control the growth of your colas. So, you can grow 8-10 big colas, instead of 1, and with some smaller ones on the sides, like autos. SUMMARY: Germ in GOW, temp at 23c, ppm 110 soft tap, tap roots appeared after 15hrs. Will leave until 24hrs. Then into PT for 24-48hrs (depending how it goes). Then into 1.7L pot for 7-10days with 2.5g of biogrow for each L of substrate. 1g/1l of bioenhancer. Wk 1 was strong good decent growth, a few light mutations on the tips of leafs, look like nutrient burn, but it's not, will keep a closer eye on all those that have mutations as they might hermie.... for those who want a short read. Preplanning: This is something I wasn't nor am I big on, not only with growing but in life, I'm more, when it happens it happens and I'll deal with it. But there is certain things you just need for growing good weed. Regardless of your setup you'll find you'll need these things at some stage. Items needed. Nutrients will be your biggest and most important way to go unless you are going full soil grow (even then, you will need cal/mag unless you have water above 200ppm, and eventually you will need to top up your soil, so worm castings are a good way to go. Even so, it's still a good item to have(cal/mag, Epsom salt is good for mag sulphate=mag/sulfur). So it's important that you pick the right stuff, so I highly suggest you look around. (Don't get drawn into buying nutrients that reads great and has cool pics, I made this mistake and spent 100s getting 14dif nutrients, when in reality all you need is base nutrients, grow, bloom, micro, 1 enzyme, 1 bloom booster and 1 resin enhancer. A GROW, BLOOM, MICRO + ROOT STIM will do in any set up, and just get a cal/mag incase. (Feel free to DM me for information on nutrients that'll suit your style. PH/EC PEN/METER If you are using synthetic nutrients you'll need a PH/EC pen. I find milwaukee PH 55 & EC 60. Either way you go, I suggest you get these as they are tools any grower with any style you'll always get a use out of them. Even with full soil setups, if you find have a certain tox/def it might be down to your PH being off a few points. With the nutrients I'm using, they are powder additives, and you need to apply different grams/L of substrate at different stages, so I have 3 different veg pot sizes. (This I will go into in depth as it happens, don't want to overload you, just giving an idea of what you need). Now if you are using synthetic nutrients, you can start out in a smaller pot and then uppot to her final pot in 2 moves. SOIL PREP WITH DRY POWDER ADDITVIES If you are using any type of all mix that comes in a bag, it most likely needs to be activated, to get good bacteria and all that going, depending if you are using living soils, this will be something suggested by manufacturers. Mixed 2L of light mix soil with 6 grams of biogrow. 1stly I put out half on a bag dressed the top and lightly mixed in, and repeated, lightly filled pot half way, sprayed with bioenhancer, filled the rest in, sprayed the soil, (dampen your soil before you place your seed in, do not pour water on your seed, the roots will reach down into the wet substrate, this is crucial stuff, as the risk of damping off will be lowered by doing this. ) placed a few CM soil out of the bag on top, placed the seed in the middle of the dryish soil and the roots will quickly reach down to your wet substrate, just by doing this alone will decrease die off, drowning and so on. (Especially if you are planting directly into substrate I suggest you do this just as I said, feel free to DM regarding any of this) Next will be put into an 9L pot with 3.5g/1L of substrate. And I'll be adding 40% light mix in with it. Will fill pot 2/3rds or so the base of soil in the top of the pot will sit a few CM underneath the top of the 9L pot. When I flip she'll be put into an 18L and I'll be applying 1 big dose of biobloom powder mixed into the new sub that gets released over 8 weeks, if it needs more, I'll apply some top dress (again, stuff like this will be gone into in depth as we get to these things) this diary is only to help ppl who feel they need a little advice in no way am I an expert, its only my 3rd round, 2nd with fems, I'm going organic as I want a flawless with no nute burn and with few complications. Germination: Really, you can go any way you like, some ppl like to put in straight into the substrate. Not me. I don't like waiting days and wondering if I have a viable seed in there, so by spliting it by way of germ improves the chances a lot of you getting to the seedling stage, so here's my method. #GOW (tap will do) for 12-24hrs 20c min 25c max, (depending how old your seeds are or how they were stored, some might take longer than others to split, but if it hasn't split after 24hrs move onto the next step as you can drown your seed), so just drop the seed in and let it float on the top. Don't push it down under the water, but if it sinks to the bottom no worries, it'll be fine, but it'll need to be moved onto the next step, papertowel. Read below for that step). Store in a dark cupboard or press in a warm place. My Lemon Tree has split just after 9hrs, very fast fresh well stored seeds as soon as it splits move to the next step, in reality you can wait till it grows some, but you risk it sinking to bottom and drowning. These seeds took 15hrs to split. Will move to PT after they grow a small bit, as they just split, I'm keeping a close eye on them. #PaperTowel after your seed has soaked and split in the GOW, (if it hasn't split after 24hrs don't worry about it, keep going and move to next step, Paper Towel) So, you want to keep the temps in the range I said for GOW, the higher range is best for the PT part (23-25c but 20-25 is fine). So, you want to get a plate, place a cloth on top, (as the plate will keep the seed too cold) lay some cling film/clear wrap and spray it, lay 2-4sheets folded on top of each other onto the film and then spray, place your seeds in the middle and then fold the Paper Towel over the seeds and repeat spray and you can put another cloth over the Paper Towel to keep a steady temp on all sides of your seed(s), (making sure NOT to wrap the clear film over the Paper Towel as this will restrict o2 from reaching your seed, and in turn lower your chances of successful germination, or at best it'll slow down your germination process and could make for a weaker pheno, (not proven nor could it be, but it kinda makes sense, as old seeds can come up against issue during growth). Check every 6hrs or so, (don't pull back the PT just feel if it's still damp and if not spray again, after 24 hrs check your progress and if its hit 1/3-1/2 of an inch of tap root then she's ready to go. I'll be putting her in rockwool for the 1st 4-7 days to min the chances of damping off/browning of the stem which can be common in organic soil grows. As I move into planting I'll go into methods and how I did it and much more, this diary will be a complete 101 tutorial so there will be a lot of reading. I'll add a quick summary at the top for other viewers, not only mainline, but nutrients control, water feeds, LST, lower topping, Lollippoing, understanding DLI (this will be something I'll be going into along the way) late stage Co2 for the flowering stage, controlling temps in times of when there's risk of unwanted stretching and just general tips and tid bits on stuff I've picked up from studying and from mentors who helped me out here. ROCKWOOL PREPRATION NEEDED Rock Wools PH is around 9. So you need to adjust a pot of water down to 5 and let sit for 20 mins, rinse with the water you'll want to set it at. 5.5 perf for rock wool to start off. SEEDLING DAY 1 They all popped up pretty quickly. Doing really well so far. I've had to move them into the small tent as they were starting to stretch searching for light, as I had them on the floor and the light wasn't close enough and I don't have a par meter and can't lower the light intensity as its working hard on finishing my other girls. So, for the 1st week, I just want to make sure I get them out of the seedling stage, 0-15 Days. So they went into the small tent under viparspecta set at 45% at 45cm.. Seedling Day 3 Growing slowly. Its my RH, as I have to keep it low as I'm finishing off my other plants, they can struggle for a few days. I don't like putting the dome over it. I have a negative seal environment and personally I think it's given me better faster results than this, but it's early yet, and all seedlings grow similar unless you way out of the environment needed. Seedling Day 4-7 Growth has picked up some. She has picked up a few mutations on her leafs, nothing that will cause any trouble in growth, just have to watch her close. Week 2. D 8-12 Okay growth this week, nothing explosive but still good. Whatever the hell happened to the tips of the fan leafs, idk, came out like that from be deprived of nutrients for too long I think, or it's just a mutation. But she's doing well now. Healthy and getting ready to move into her new home in a few days. Will be going into a 5.7L pot. Thanks to my sponsors GreenHouseSeeds & marshydro led lights and to the 2 reps I dealt with, thanks very much. COUPON FOR MARSHYDRO Use Code GGS at any marshydro site for a small discount. Welcome to my Green House Seed sponsored unnamed tester run. This is 1 of 2 unnamed strains I'll be growing for GHS, also, I have a King's Tart..I was down for a week with covid. And missing some pics sorry. Some of my girls fared better than others. Good steady growth this week. And to putting on a decent bit of height. 21.5cm. I will top above the 5th node in the next couple of days. Currently I'm on D18 of this grow. She seems to be dealing well with her few mutations. Nothing to worry about. I was going to do a mainline, but looking at my tent, I won't have the room to do the mainlines I want to do. That, and it's not growing the shape I want it to. But still would of been fine to mainline, just a little slow on node growth. So I'll pass and just do a few Fem tutorials, well, I'll be sharing my style. VD15-18 She huffed and puffed and nearly gave up. I got her under control gladly. She seems to be doing ok. Just some war wounds and signs of root trapment. Had to give some epsom salts and cal to my other GHS stain and gave these a taste 2. Total was 360ppm with 110ppm ambient water. As using calmag with these, your not me meant 2. GHF goes into it on their cal link. VD18-21 Not doing too bad. Taking a nice shape. Nice and healthy. Few light tip issues from the stress of not been uppotted in the right time, she's finding it hard to spread out I reckon. I fully expect her to grow out of it. As she's not that old and couldn't need more food yet. So the light green tips are just rootbound issues. It'll solve itself out. The few tip burns you see, actually aren't that at all. They are mutations she picked up as a seedling. Thanks to my sponsors from Green House Seeds & MarsHydro Led Lights, and to both reps i dealt with, thanks for supplying me with great gear. COUPON FOR MARSHYDRO Use code 'ggs' at any marshydro site for a small discount. INFO on some lights from Mars. So, you have a few options. The FC&FC-E have a high uniformed PPFD, with the addition of a UV bringing you closer to the RA spectrum, (that's sunlight spec). It'll help increase Resin and root growth. (These lights, are best for growers with full tents) TS versions have a higher ppfd in the middle, so if you do get 1 of these beauties. And have a few plants, rotate them under to share that high ppfd to all your gals. Thanks for dropping by. gottagrowsometime

CANNACURE - Canna
CANNACURE 1 mll
Welcome to my Kush Mint X Gelato 41 unnamed test strain. Week 4 VD22-28, Took to this plant today. She sits at around 30cm..has 5 sets of nodes. 1st set removed early on and then topped above the 5 remaining sets of nodes. When was picking up some leafs I cut off a few days ago and from yday also. And 2 little mites tried running. Got 1 of them. They looked red. So hurriedly I sprayed the whole canopy with CannaCure on the top and underneath.. and layer a few sticky bug traps. They might have just been spiders, 1 I wouldn't of minded. But 2 in the same place, hmmm. Let's see. It's that time of year pests will seek out hot environment with fresh smelly growth. (With cannacure you can use H202 and that goes for all organic pesticide that's organic). I sprayed above and below and lowered the light from 75% to 50% and it'll stay like that for 12hrs at least until it dries in.

Welcome to my Kush mint X Gelato 41 sponsored Diary from Green House Seeds. VD29-35 Plant was doing so well. Very nice and healthy start to the week. Then I got hit hard with fungus gnats/fruit flies. Took me nearly 3-4 days to get rid of... took me 2 days to let the soil dry out for most of my crop. So, to keep my plants going. I fed plain water from the bottom up. And its caused me a lot of issues. As its showing as signs of overwatering/root damage..its just that it got plain water with no nutrients. But it's back eating from the pot. As my fungus gnats are gone. Will apply more LST this week. A lot of the nodes are still in their infancy. So, no need to do heavy on the LST yet. Thanks to my sponsors from Green House Seeds and marshydro led lights. Thanks to both reps who sponsored me. Much appreciated for great tools. Use code "GGS" at any marshydro site for a 3% discount. FC 3000 & MARSHYDRO LIGHTS The FC 3000 300w it has a high ppfd 1525 umol/s, 2.85 efficacy and has the new UV addition which brings it closer to the (RA) spectrum, that's the Sun spectrum. The FC-FC-E has this, Also it has a much even PPFD making for a more evenly grown canopy and has a deep penetrative light as it allows you to move the light closer to your canopy with a reduced risk of light stress. The TS versions are a great light to. These are different though. As they have a much higher ppfd in the middle, so I suggest you rotate them plants and move em about to get the best out of the high PPFD

Welcome to my Kush mint x gelato 41 unnamed Green House Seed test strain. VD36-42 Plant is doing really well. Lovely nice strong growth. She's at to taken on a lovely shape. Has lots of lovely bud sites. Done some minor defol and light lollipoppoing. This is the last week of veg. I was planning on doing 7-8 wks. But growth is decent and at a good hight ready to be flipped. I was going to uppot it, but when I was doing one, the root growth was so undeveloped it was a nightmare trying to get her out of the pot. I'm putting this down to been potted in a 1.7L 1st as I had no all mix (was missing from my delivery) and seeds were ready. So had to plant them in light mix as opposed to the 9L pot they are in now they were meant to go straight into that to veg. Am just going to apply the biobloom as a top dress. Still a few fungus gnats about. Must of missed a batch of larva and still picking up the odd flyer. But they are on their way out. I've added around 80 bug traps to my tents to combat them. If they persist I'm going to try a new method given to me by GHS support, cheers. Thanks to my sponsors, (reps) from MarsHydro Led Lights & Green House Seeds for supplying me with great products. Welcome to my Kush mint x gelato 41 diary from Green House Seeds. This is an unreleased strain for the moment. DAYS 42-45 She has been doing really well. Nice and healthy. As you might see. (Old war wounds) that's just cause I don't defol anymore. (Never defoloate during veg or in pre flower) lollipop and that yeah. But, no need to remove any top fan leafs. These are all needed to break the most bud sites you can. Removing these before pre flower is over, will only take from your end product. And there really is no need. As she's still in growth stage. So, its the leafs that turn light into energy not pre flowers. Pre Flower Days 1-3 Days 46-49 Finally she has thrown out some pre flowers.. she was 1 of the quicker to turn out flowers. Bud sites don't tend to stray much from node shoots. So, looks like it'll be bud laided colas, and not buds hanging from stems. Maybe if I had of given a longer veg this would be different. But, I'm strain hunting atm. It's why I'm running so many different strains. And when I find "The One", I'll bring back out my DWC pots. Welcome to my Green House Seed Diary. This is kush mint x gelato41 fem seeds. That is unreleased to the public as of yet. Week 8. Plant stayed in limbo for this week. Flipped mid week 8. Really healthy doing really well. Soil dried out twice, plant stressed and through out sacs (hermies in flip). In hard pre flower this week. Doing well. Missed pollen sacs I reckon (hermies) due stress from drought. Trying to rid myself of gnats my plants have suffered some. Sorry I lost track of diaries and lost pics 😒 60cm Week 9. Pre flower is just over. Had been hit with 2 hermies. From drought. Will be checking daily. Making sure my plants are hermie free. This girl showed me on her top leafs, lot of purple under the leafs. So, light shortage on P. Added some extra Bloom Booster from GHFeeding. Thanks to my sponsors from Green House Seeds & MarsHydro Led Lights/Tents. Welcome to my Kush mint x gelato 41 diary.. Sorry about the gap in wks. I lost my device with all my pics. This girl is really slow on the uptake.. she is the furthest behind and was started on my 1st batch for this round. She has gone through pre flower and fattening and seems to be throwing off some Amber's. But very slowly. After her nanners I can't see anymore. She did show some purple leafs at the back. So, this could of slowed the process down Thanks to my sponsors from Green House Seeds and Mars Hydro. COUPON FOR MARSHYDRO Use code "ggs" at any official marshydro site for a discount..

Welcome to my Kush mint x gelato 41 Diary from Green House Seeds.. (Last of the flowering/Ripening Days) She has taken her time but, as you can see. She is just about there. She has a few days left to go, at least, maybe another week or 2. Fan leafs have started to turn a deep purple. And, the lower bud sites are stacking frost. The buds themselves are, ROCK HARD. And have lovely sweet citrus smell. They are so fuckin hard. Like rocks. Finally some more A grade bud. Am just gonna finish her up on water for the next week or 10 My FC 3000 has done me a real treat this round. She held firm and done 10 plants without skipping a beat. No larf, just all nice dense buds. Easily will turn out a good few 100g for my trouble this round. Will tally up at the end. But, I wasn't aiming for quantity this round. Was leaning more on quality and no doubt, I've hit that this round. And then some. Thanks to my sponsors from Green House Seeds + Mars Hydro (reps) for supplying me with great products. Much appreciated guys!!

Welcome to my Kush mint x gelato 41 Diary She's taking longer than the others. Put she's been flowering 60+ days now. Going to pull her on day 105. Buds are super dense and very sticky. Haven't tested at all yet but, she is very pungent and can't wait to try this cross.. She's been on water for the last 2 weeks. And had been feeding off what's left in her pot. Will put into 48hr dark rest this week after another few days under the light.
