Let me start by saying that I'm having fun with DWC. I fee like I'm learning everyday. That said, I do think I'm messing with my ph a bit too much. It seems to be fluctuating between 5.5ph and 6.0. I am making daily adjustments, and I think that may be too much. Next week, I think i will just check the ph every other day. Other than that, things went well this week.
I did a little light defoliation to open up the top to get some light in the middle of the plant. She responded well and bounced right back the next day. The growth is amazing in DWC. I didn't do a full water change this week, as I plan to do that every other week. I have been adding nutrient solution daily to keep her at a good fluid level. I will flip at the end of the week. I don't want her to get too big because I have 5 plants in the tent, and I don't want to be too crowded.
Just getting back to you here as I said I would... my friend is stumped... suggested mosaic virus which, after discussion, we BOTH ruled out... all he can think of is that you may have splashed something on the leaves ... He also said your pH is just fine ... and that if it was HIS grow, he'd snip the leaf off and forget about it.
