Germination went without problems. After 2 days the seed had a long tail and was planted in the coco. The next day she sprouted and she is looking well.
Not much is happening during the first week. The little seedling has been busy making roots and starting to create the foliage. This is the only one of the 4 little plants that didn't stretch to need support. It might be a nice solid, stocky plant....
I intended to top her at day 14, but she was too small and had to wait another day. She is doing well, though, and I expect her to pick up the pace a bit.
This week we have done some heavy training. I've been working on her daily to get the shape I like. She is doing well but is the second smallest plant out of the 4.
She's not a super strong grower, but she's doing well. I have defoliated and trained her hard. Her bbroken limb is doing ok. SHe's starting to get a proper shape.
This is one of the smaller plants in the tent, but she is doing well anyway. She is very healthy and happy. I have installed.support rings to help her.later in flowering.
This is now the shortest girl in the tent, but she is spreading out perfectly, and is getting a great shape. She is a tad later in flowering compared to the other 3 girls in the tent.
The little one has.kicked off and she is getting big!! She is spreading out beautifully, and she tries to hog some extra space she shouldn't have. I've removed some leaves. She is growing really bjg ones.
This is turning into an amazing girl. She is spreading out perfectly. Even though one of her main 6 branches got chopped off by a falling fan, she is so full and packed with buds.
This baby grows so well. Her trunk looks like Shrek. Unfortunately she has been a bit mistreated by me. I dropped one of the fans and broke one of her main stems clean off. Then when trying to remove some leaves, blindly since I can't reach and see at the same time due to space limitations, I managed to pinch one of the top buds off instead of one of the leaves. 🙄
The tent is packed so I can't get the plant out for photos. We now have a tent.full of smelly buds. This baby is growing super well. Lately she has been producing lots of trichomes, and she smells absolutely beautiful.
The buds are swelling up perfectly. They are also getting covered in trichomes. This will be a very potent lady. The smell of the buds is insane and they are very sticky.
This baby is super stinky and sticky. Her buds are dense, solid, and heavy. I removed most of the fan leaves to prepare her for the chop. She'll then hang for a few weeks.
This strain exceeded my expectations. It is super tasty and very potent. It grew very well and developed amazing very frosty buds. The smell is top notch!
@franc, sounds sweet. My first attempt to a grow was in a wardrobe over 30 years ago. I think with my current knowledge I could make a nice grow room out of a wardrobe if necessary now. Perhaps it'll happen again 😄
@Nickeluring, Yes, I made it myself from an IKEA closet.
pasted over with milar inside, a 60x40cm 240w lamp (this is a lot for such an area) works mainly 100-150w
the lamp perfectly occupies almost the entire cabinet cabinet 75x44cm
duct ventilation above the lamp, cabinet height around 180cm
coolers 120, 140, 200mm are installed in the corners for airflow with area adjustment.
working height to the lamp around 150cm
there is an adjacent compartment in the closet and I can install a solution tank or a hydroponics chiller there if I decide to use other growing methods
and so in general I can keep good growing conditions in this closet.
Nice @franc, did you build the wardrobbe yourself? I've seen some systems like that being offered at quite high prices. How tall plants can you grow in there? How does it handle ventilation? Hydroponic system? What temperatures and humidity levels do you get in there?
Similarily to you I grow for myself and I enjoy the variety in my stash. I currently have around 30-40 strains to choose between, and that number keeps growing...
I never grow more than 1 plant of each strain, so I always have to solve problems such as different heights and diffferent nutrient needs. It keeps things interesting.
Thank you, my friend @LegacyMarketFarm, it has been slow-drying for many weeks now and is just about ready to get trimmed into a jar. These are some fine buds 💚
