Ok, you asked about defoliation... I don't happen to think it's necessary at all at the moment... and it may NEVER be necessary. If you're concerned right now, you could simply take those large fan leaves and tuck them under the bud sites that they may be shading. You want to do defoliation for a REASON... either to get more air flow into your plant or to get more light to the lower portions of your plant. You just posed a question on the questions page and unfortunately selected an answer (the only answer) that was purportedly made by me... There are a number of fake accounts being created that LOOK like real accounts but that, in fact, are not... The easiest way to tell if this is one of them is to click on the grower's name which will bring up their profile... the one you selected, you will see, just joined Grow Diaries and has nothing on their profile page.
