Plant 1 has really started to swell up, she's so juicy. Just taking her out of the tent fills the room with a dank strawberry aroma, so pleasant. Plant 2 is starting to come along nicely too, buds fattening and she's starting to smell a bit more pungent. Although not the easiest plant to grow she's definitely worth running purely for the taste and aroma! You can count on mephisto for those crazy flavours.

At what age would you guys start defoliation and how often would you trim? She's getting bushy and I'm tucking leaves but it's just not cutting it.

Hi @Maxranger! You can remove leaves at a very young age, if you do it slightly (2 leaves at a time, max), it can be useful if those leaves are creating shades onto lower stems. However, a real defoliation (more than 2 leaves) shouldn't be done until week 3-4, and only if the plant is healthy. Hope this helps, keep us up-to-date and happy growing! πŸ‘Š

@Stick, thanks for the advice πŸ‘much appreciated! I never usually have to defoliate this early but she's just so bushy it's unreal. Thanks again! πŸ™Œ

Personally I trim once near the end of veg then again about 1/2way through flowering. I also pull any yellowing or damaged leaves as needed along the way. Hope this helps. Good luck!πŸ‘
