Ready to check out the new living soil, 12 Gal double layer fabric pots. Using Neem & Agsil for IPM through Veg. Yucca & Aloe with every watering to help retain moisture for the microbes.
08/28 - DAY 1
A little over 48hrs and both girls popped from direct germ. Light lowered, using 25% power, ~175PPFD, and ready to go!
08/31 - DAY 4
Light ~200PPFD and looking healthy. Fed the soil with a microbe tea and started foilar feeding w/ FOOP mist. Cover crop growing fast as well.
09/03 - DAY 7
Light ~225PPFD & maintaining ~120mbar on the tensiometers. Girls are off to a good start.
09/06 - DAY 10
Started the Bi-weekly cycle of Mass Pro to help make Phosphorus readily available. Residue on leaves is from IPM spray. Tapered back watering to roughly 2% of the medium/pot size (~4 Cups). PPFD ~240 & dropped humidity to ~74%
09/08 - DAY 12
Increased light to 50% and raised to ~275PPFD at canopy. Removed old fan for AC Infinity clip on and connected w/ in-line fan. Noticed some clawing but healthy, root tips must have hit a hotspot. (A) already showing a pre flower.
09/09 - DAY 13
Started LST with a bend over and plan to wrap the main stems around the edges of the pots.
09/13 - DAY 17
Light ~400PPFD at canopy. Smashed down the cover crop and both girls are slowly ramping up production.
(A) looks more Sativa dominant and open. (B) so far looks more Indica dominant and is starting to smell like our favorite plant.
09/14 - DAY 18
Lowered the average humidity down to ~69-71%. Cleared away all clovers under the girls for better air flow.
09/16- DAY 20
Light ~450PPFD at canopy, Leaf temps ~83F at canopy. Watering has been 1/2Gal per pot every 7 days, with 1/4Gal per pot waterings every two days in between.
09/18 - DAY 22
Raised light and increased to 75% power, ~500PPFD across the canopy. Chopped and dropped cover crop.
09/20 - DAY 24
Lowered light to ~530PPFD at canopy. Girls and cover crops are increasing water uptake, pots needed another 1/2 Gal watering. Continuing LST and tucking the solar panels.
09/22 - DAY 26
Girls are growing towards the light now. Light ~560PPFD at canopy. Almost snapped off my main tip on (B) during LST yesterday, bandaged the stem and seeing if she’ll repair herself before flowering.
09/24 - DAY 28
Light ~590PPFD at canopy. Girls look primed and ready for flowering. (A) is starting trichome production. (B) attempt to save the main cola seems to have worked, even able to continue w/ LST.
09/25 - DAY 29
Maintaining canopy ~600-625PPFD until ripening stage. Started a light defoliation of leaves covering bud sites that I can’t tuck away.
09/27 - DAY 31
(B) is starting to get thirsty, watering 1/4 Gal everyday and some days 2X. Little concerned about the clawing going into flower but they are healthy and growing daily still.
09/28 - DAY 32
(B) is really hitting her stretch now and spreading out. Thankfully another good LST session without any damage. Bandage is still holding strong. (A) appears to be pasted her stretch, really short but super healthy.
09/30 - DAY 34
Last foliar IPM application w/ Neem oil. Girls drinking almost 1/2 Gal a day now. Another round of light defoliation mostly on (B).
10/03 - DAY 37
(B) Older leaves getting spots and dying from the N toxicity. (A) Looking healthy and chugging along.
10/05 - DAY 39
(B) Removed more leaves and trying to contain her, she’s really branching out. Flowers and stems smell very fruity and sweet. (A) Still doing her thang and getting fuzzy.
10/07 - DAY 41
(A) is looking thick and starting to show brown spots on the older fan leaves from the N toxicity. Definitely smelling good, sweet and peppery. (B) is starting trichome production. Multiple bud sites all spread out, super branchy. Gave the girls their last trim to expose more sites.
10/10 - DAY 44
Girls are in full flower!! (A) is starting to fill out for her short stature. Pistils are slowing changing and calyxes are starting to pop out in clumps. (B) has stopped her mad stretch and is starting to get frosty. Still plucking away N toxic fan leaves but I’m not noticing any progression to new leaves.
10/14 - DAY 48
Another light defoliation on the middle of (A) and throughout (B). Most frosty girls I’ve had going into week 8.
10/16 - DAY 50
Last round of LST on (B) to open her up. Girls are groovin’ along.
10/21 - DAY 55
Temps down to ~82, leaf temps at canopy ~79, and humidity ~59%. Fruity, sweet, and peppery scents are getting stronger. (A) is really packing it on and (B) is getting really frosty.
10/26 - DAY 60
-(A) maybe has another 2 weeks? Seeing some amber trichomes popping up but majority are cloudy/clear.
-(B) Guessing a week or two behind her sister. Mostly clear trichomes and really strong aromas coming from her.
-Sucking down about 3/4-1 Gal throughout the day per pot. Lowed temps to ~79 & ~52% humidity.
10/30 - DAY 64
(A) Trichomes are 50/50 clear/cloudy. Girl is looking thick and pistils receding, very few white ones left. Buds feel nice and hard.
(B) Trichomes are 70/30 clear/cloudy. Buds are noticeably swelling and only a few amber pistils. By far is putting out majority of the tropical/fruity scents in the tent.
11/02 -DAY 67
Noticed some fuzzy white stuff on the main cola of (A) and sure enough it’s bud rot. Cut out a big portion of the main cola, salvaged what I could, and went ahead and harvested (A) before anymore potential damage. Still looks like a decent bounty once she’s dry and some thick ass colas.
11/08 - DAY 73
(B) is finishing up and fading. Seeing roughly 25% amber heads across the canopy buds.
(A) is on day 7 of slow drying. Maintaining 65F & ~60% humidity. Nugs are just now feeling semi dry on the outsides. Put a couple test nugs in Grove Bags and humidity spiked to 73% after 8hrs. Not ready for jars/bags yet….
11/10 - DAY 75
(B) is looking super frosty across the canopy. Majority of pistils have changed colors and are receding. Gonna chop her this weekend.
(A) is on day 9 of drying and gonna try her in the Grove Bags again on Sunday, Day 12. Still maintaining ~60F & ~60% humidity.
11/12 - DAY 77
(A) trimmed and ij the Grove Bags now. Had to cut away more mold but the bounty was still good. Re amended with a top soil and ready for Mephisto’s Sour Bubbly :)
11/13 - DAY 78
(B) is primed and ready for harvest. Every view across she has roughly 25% or less amber and the rest cloudy with a few clear. Chopped today. Pot is ready for Mephisto’s Sour Bubbly tomorrow.
