Pineapple Express gifts (unknown origin)

Been tracking these two seedlings in my "1st grow in 25 years" diary until today. Long story shortened...I got two PE seeds from a friend who had a couple ounces of it. He found the two seeds and gave them to me, so I immediately got them wet (7/17/2018). I do not know the breeder, if they are autos or photos, or if they were even feminized, so I'll keep an eye on them. The bud, itself, wasn't as tight/compact as I prefer, but had an intensely mango/pineapple flavor that stayed with you for quite a while. It was pretty potent, too. The buzz was very uplifting. The first one cracked and sprouted in a day, and it was 5 days later before the second one even cracked... Planted both in 3g plastic pots and have them growing in an area adjacent to my tent because there is just no space for them in there anymore. I have the 40w Sansi daylight grow blub and a 50w 440nm blue/5000k light on them for now, but will prob add my other 15w full spectrum sansi bulb this week..especially if I move Kushpialidocious out of the tent as well. Both of them will likely be grown to about 5-6 weeks indoors and moved outside to flower and finish in 10g pots, if female.

TUESDAY: PE#1 is growing well now. PE#2 finally looking a little more like Cannabis than Cantelope. Gonna fert PE#1 soon. WEDNESDAY: I mixed up a ph'd gallon of 1/3 strength veg nutes and gave them about a third of it...Kushpialidocious got the rest. THURSDAY: Wow..both seedlings responded very well to the nutes from yesterday and put on some serious size! I put the 15w blurple grow bulb 8" above PE#2 and dedicated the 40w to PE#1 at about 12". Both are getting hit with extra blues as well. Forgot to take pictures.. FRIDAY: Moved Mystery Plant into the same area for the night. Did foliar feedings a couple times. New veg tent and light ordered! Forgot to take pictures again... SATURDAY: Serious growth today...happy happy. Ordered and received another of the 100w Bridgelux 3500k COB's today..swapping out the Sansi 40w for this new bulb...they should appreciate the additional PAR. Damnit..forgot to take pictures again and Sunday starts the new week for them.

MONDAY 8/6: Excellent growth on both last week, and awesome branching by PD#1 TUESDAY: assembled new veg tent and set it up. Split a gallon of grow nutes between the two PE's and Kushpialidocious. Did some foliar feedings. WEDNESDAY: They love the new environment..the light looks mostly daylight with a very slight pink hue to the naked eye, but photgraphs ridiculously pink, so I'm filtering them in photoshop...kinda sux. I think I'll put my spare 100w 3500k COB in there for photo sessions... I'm still hopeful that these plants are autos because the summer temps outdoors are off the chart this season...much rather promote them to the flowering tent in a couple weeks than take them outdoors. THURSDAY: Still no preflowers on PE#1, so in anticipation of possibly taking these two plants outdoors, and because I feared PE#1 was going to become rootbound in the 3gal pot, I transplanted her into a 12gal pot. She was, indeed, becoming rootbound. Could barely get the root ball out of the pot. FRIDAY: PE#1 recovered from the stress of transplanting and is doing well. PE#2 is about a week behind...Did foliar feeds a few times. They were thirsty and I'm in a hurry, so I mixed up 2 gal of 1/2 strength grow nutes and some boomerang for them and Kuspialidocious to share. WATER ONLY next time... Implemented further heat mitigation measures today..very slight improvement, however, I'm now raining the unused CO2 exhausted from my flowering tent over the veg tent inhabitants...that's something at least...

SUNDAY 8/12: Today is the 1 month anniversary of PE#1's emergence! Her little sister is 3 weeks old today. PE#1 recovered from her transplanting very quickly and is really growing well..branching out. PE#2 seems jealous of her sister's new container and is starting to show some energy output.

MONDAY: Transplanted PE#2 to a 12gallon pot in anticipation of also moving it outdoors to flower. TUESDAY: Doh! PE#1 has started flowering in 20/hr light cycle! I guess they are autos after all..just slow... I guess I can try to find room for them in the main tent, but now that I've got them both in big pots it will be a real challenge... I've never transplanted a plant from a 3g to a 12 g and back to a 5g in the space of 3 days before..might be too much stress for them to handle, reckon? WEDNESDAY: Today I FIM'd both of them..they were just getting too tall, too quickly. Hope I got it right...misted with water a few times and expressed my love.😉 I've decided that I will, indeed, remove them from the 12 gallon pots and put them into some tall 5 gallon fabric pots I bought..they are really more like 6 gallon but the same footprint as the other 5's. I'll wait another day or two to do it. One I have harvested a couple more plants from the main tent, they will move into the 4' x 5' tent with the 7 new White Widow autoflower sprouts and the 4 new Candy Cane sprouts initially, but will probably end up back in the veg tent with Kushpialidocious and all her clones that I expect to have growing in the next few weeks. THURSDAY: PE#2 popped some stigma today and has grown 3 inches since I transplanted her! PE#1 still branching a lot and adding stigma daily FRIDAY: DAMNIT..PE#2 was a hermaphrodite! Had male sex parts developing on 2 lower internodes. I killed it immediately. PE#1 has moved into the big tent with the other bloomers. Keeping a close eye on her to be sure she doesn't grow nuts. SATURDAY: She put on about 2 inches overnight...maybe I should have topped her instead of just FIMing... I transplanted her into a 5gal fabric pot so she'd be easier to handle in the tent..but it's more like a 6 gallon pot.. SUNDAY: No shock at all, so I fed her a gallon of early bloom nutes today.

MONDAY 8/20: She's still flowering female, but I'm keeping a sharp eye on her...this is NOT a co-ed tent and we'll have no unwanted pregnancies on my watch. She saw what I did to her sibling as soon as she "came out"..maybe it will discourage her from changing pronouns on me. 😨 TUESDAY: She likes the big tent. Can't really tell if the FIMing was successful yet, but the pistils are a'poppin. WEDNESDAY: She's a good shape..lower branches have good upward (not just outward) growth and seem sturdy. This plant has great vigor. THURSDAY: It's looking like the FIM was successful. I'm seeing 4 distinct shoots off of the top. She hasn't increased in height for a few days now, but her lower branches are growing. I gave her about a half gallon of ph'd water with calimagic and bud candy. FRIDAY: Checked her private parts again really closely today...no male parts!

THURSDAY: I missed a few days updating the diary while dealing with all the other girls, but she's coming along nicely. FRIDAY: She got slowly soaked with a gallon of nutes..minimal runoff. I started her on Beastie Bloomz and Terpinator and also added Microbe Brew. SATURDAY: Checked her crotch(es) for any signs of manliness and only saw pistils...sexy. Her quad-top is pretty lopsided, but there are definitely four separate flowers...buxom. SUNDAY: I hope she finishes in the next month...I can barely remember how she tasted. She sits daily under 2 cxb3890's and a big blurple..really working on her tan. MONDAY: oops...too much sun...burned her up a little.. I've moved all the lights up and her away from directly beneath the sun, so hopefully she likes it better... I douched her with a gallon of ph'd water + calimagic, bud candy, terpinator, and boomerang TUESDAY: She bitched about her sunburn all damn day... WEDNESDAY: Still bitching about her sunburn...she keeps asking for me to apply aloe vera gel...sorry darling..

THURSDAY: She got foliar feedings and rotated twice today..she continues to bitch about the sunburn... FRIDAY: She got slow-fed a 1-gallon dose of nutes today..very little runoff, she was thirsty. SATURDAY: Those bunt fan leaves are almost ready to remove..they're still doing a liiiiitle bit of good, but I hate the constant reminder of my neglect. Foliar feeding and did the dosey-do. SUNDAY: In the words of Cheech Marin.."We're gonna have to get you a training bra.." I gave her a little drinky-winky of ph'd tap water, calmag, bud candy, and terpinator...about a quart... MONDAY: I was busy harvesting another plant today, but I did, at least, finally pluck off those big burnt fan leaves..she's so much sexier now.😍 TUESDAY: She was slow to start flowering, and she's kinda slow to mature..but that quad-top is gonna be THICK when it's all said and done.😋 WEDNESDAY: I fed her a gallon of nutes today. She was very thirsty..maybe 3 oz of runoff and it soaked right back into the fabric pot.

THURSDAY 9/13: She continues to show new signs of burn. She's just too sensitive to light..I've moved her all over the tent trying to avoid PAR...which makes me sad. I've got the lights 30" above and off to the sides...how does she expect to make big buds like that? Dumbass... FRIDAY: I'm starting to not like this plant at all. She'd better be as tasty as her mother... SATURDAY: I've just about had it with this plant..I can find nowhere in my garden that pleases her. SUNDAY: 😕 I gave her all the bloom nutes she can stand.. MONDAY: 😐 Her buds are starting to thicken a little..but will they finish before I burn off all her foliage?👈 TUESDAY: This plant just seems to have an aversion to blurple, so tomorrow, I'll turn off the blurple completely and just hit her with 3500k and some deep red periodically and see if she does any better. WEDNESDAY: I just have 3 x Cree CXB3590s (3500k) and a few of the 12w Miracle LED for flowering (700nm) on her and mamma Kushpialidocious now. The 2000w blurple is unplugged, and 1 x 26w par38 660nm just comes on every 4 hours for an hour at a time. Doubt she makes the size buds I was hoping for, but it is what it is...

THURSDAY 9/21: I fed her a gallon of nutes today with a little extra terpinator and bud candy. I killed the blurple light yesterday and she already seems to have perked up a little. She's got two dedicated CXB3590's at 24", 4 Miracle LED red bulbs at about 8", plus a 660nm spot kicks on for a few hours at a time all day. FRIDAY: She's definitely happier with the blurple off....go figure.😕 Her quad-top is thickening daily, but she still doesn't have that distinctive aroma her mamma had..still a little early though. I will move her into the small tent in the next several days with my 6 x WW seedlings, and one CC seedling. I will be replacing all the cool whites with warm whites and replacing the blue/white panels with 660nm red panels, and replacing the Miracle LED blues with Miracle LED reds. Bloom-time! Hopefully she doesn't hate the primary light in that tent...I plan to keep her in the corner with a dedicated 3000k 20w or a 3500k 50w COB plus I'll start putting UVB on her late next week, too. SATURDAY: I moved her into the small tent with the auto seedlings today. She's catching indirect light from the primary blurple (can't help it) and she's got her own dedicated 40w 4000k daylight bulb and a 20w 3000k bulb right above her head, and is surrounded by Miracle LED red bulbs and 2700k strip lighting and 3000k tube lights. Hopefully she doesn't protest too much...🙏 She got about 32oz of ph'd water with bud candy, terpinator, calimagic, and a little boomerang today. SUNDAY: I spun her around and gave her the sniff test..still nuttin' special. MONDAY: I forgot I had fertilized her at last water and did it again today (oops)..but also added microbe brew and kangaroots. For an auto, she sure is awfully slow...💤 TUESDAY: She was supposed to be finished by now...damnit...😠..I have nowhere to put her!! I moved her back in with the clones, so she's on 12/12 now. She's just getting indirect light and some low-watt side and corner lights, so I put the 20w 3000k COB about 10 inches above her noggin. I'd like to be able to dedicate more light to her, but both are in limited supply at this juncture. I think she's afraid of the dark.😲 WEDNESDAY: She didn't need water, so I just spun her around. I'm hoping that the full-on 12 hours of darkness and significantly cooler temps will hurry her up a bit.

THURSDAY 9/28: I swapped out the 4 x 4' cool white 38w side lights for 6 x 4' warm white 20w side lights. I was also able to raise the COB nearest to her so she's getting much more light in her corner now. I was hoping to start her on ChaChing tomorrow, but I'm thinking another couple of doses of BeastieBloomz is in order. She really needs to fatten up some more. FRIDAY: I gave her a gallon of nutrified water, heavy on the tiger bloom and beastie bloomz. SATURDAY: I added another 40w bulb right above her and whispered sweet nothings into her leaves. I think she's starting to like the dark 👌 SUNDAY: I spun her around and gave her the sniff test..still nothing special.. MONDAY: Microscoped her and see nothing but clear glands. She's getting fatter. I gave her some water. TUESDAY: She's doing okay at 12/12.

THURSDAY: I increased light on her..she's now got a 100w 3500k COB on her besides the indirect big blurple and 3000k side lights. FRIDAY: I fed her a gallon of nutrient-rich water..heavy on the terpinator and bud candy, and started her on cha ching. I spun her around and put the microscope on her..trichromes are only about 10% cloudy at this point..couple weeks left to go at least. I'll put the UVB's on her in a day or two to get the resin oozing. SATURDAY: I moved the 100w COB a little closer to her and put a UVB about 8 inches from her quad-top. Spun her around and patted her on the ass...no #metoo movement for plants yet...😜 SUNDAY: Spun her around and re-positioned the UVB. MONDAY: Spun her around and smacked her around a little..she just doesn't have much aroma at all... Took a close-up of one of her mains..still don't really see many cloudy trichromes at all...#slowassbitch 😠. TUESDAY: She and the autos have moved into the big tent. She's getting more light now. I gave her about a half gallon of ph'd water with calimagic and extra terpinator and bud candy. WEDNESDAY: Wow she's slow..but still fattening up. Starting to think my autos will finish before her..

THURSDAY 10/11: Nothing to report..she's still packing on the pistils. Rotated her. FRIDAY: Rotated her... SATURDAY: Yawn...💤 SUNDAY: She was veeeery dry and starting to wilt a little due to excessively high temps in the tent. I'd love to start flushing her, but she just ain't ready yet....😕 Watered her with another gallon of 1/2 strength bloom nutes, some full-strength cha ching, plus a shitload of terpinator and bud candy. MONDAY: Rotated her and plucked some necrotic stuff off of her. She is finally starting to have a little aroma, but it's weak. Buds are getting pretty dense now. TUESDAY: Rotated her and plucked some necrotic stuff off of her. (deja vu) This plant is BORING and taking waaaaaay too long.

THURSDAY 10/18: Rotated her and pruned off some dead shit..she's a little cuter now👍 FRIDAY 10/19: Rotated her and put another 26w deep red (660nm) spot on her SATURDAY: Rotated her and chastised her for being so slow.😠 SUNDAY: Swapped out the 1500w light for my 2000w light in the big tent today..she's catching a little more light now. MONDAY: Upon close inspection, I think she's about as resinous as she's ever gonna be...kinda sad. Her stink is mild and she's not very frosty...very leafy buds...eh...it is what it is....cost me nothing but time and nutes. I'll begin flushing her tomorrow, 3 gallons of ph'd spring water Bud candy and Terpinator for the last time..then a few days later again, but with just 3 gallons of ph'd spring water...3 final days in the 'sun'...a night in the dark...guillotine time. TUESDAY: I flushed today with a few gallons and bud candy...she's scheduled for execution next Tuesday or Wednesday.

THURSDAY: Plucked off some dead shit and checked her moisture level...not yet.. FRIDAY: Plucked off some dead shit and checked her moisture level...she was ready for a flush..3 gallons of ph'd spring water. A few more days and down she comes...😀 SATURDAY: Plucked off some dead shit and rotated her. SUNDAY: Her pot is still very wet, so I'm giving her a couple more days in the 'sun.' I'm so disappointed in her terpene and trichrome production...she's probably gonna be used to make some e-liquid. MONDAY: In a moment of utter disgust, I KILLED THIS PLANT! She's as ready as she'll ever be..just not a specimen. I cut off all the larf and froze it wet. I'll cure out the bigger buds to see if it ever develops a decent aroma. If not, they too will be used for e-liquid. I won't have an accurate dry weight on it, but I'll post the dry weight of the bigger buds when they are dry.

I will not be growing this one again...I just hope it makes a good batch
