GrowWithTheFlow710 Keeping humidity up while keeping an eye out for green algae. I can see small signs of life from the great white myco starting on the top of the soil. Not really feeding much water just little splashes every couple days. Have a humidifier/dehumidifier on an InkBird (controller with rh probe) set at 75rH.

GrowWithTheFlow710 Stopped watering from the top this week. Letting the earthbox use its wicking power to hydrate the soil. Again, going with that less is more theme. The idea is that it's impossible to over water using this type (SIP) container. And impossible to underwater so long you don't let the reservoir at the bottom. dry out. So you can think less about watering schedules, and relax more, let the plants tell you how much water they drink by checking the reservoir level. Fed .5 gallon of RO water plus calmag + sns209 With mixed reviews about fox farm I'd like to say I'm happy right now. No nutrient burn that's causing stunted growth (that I can tell from my first time). Trying to not think about the plants much and let them do their thing. SO hard to not check on them every hour. What a fun, giddy feeling :)

GrowWithTheFlow710 Busy week, Just got one set of pictures taken. Certainly sticking with that less is more mantra. Intentional or not... Not drinking a whole lot of water, but rH is pretty high still. Added some sanitized rice hulls to the top as a mulch layer. I did not like the plastic mulch covers provided by earthbox. A little too much fungus amongus for a newbie. They look a little nitrogen heavy but if that's all my issues for now, I'm thrilled.

GrowWithTheFlow710 Welp, I accidentally broke the main step of the "sister" SLH plant. This happened from doing LST too late/hard. I had the stem bent with a clip and overnight, it snapped. I just clipped/removed the top and wished it a speedy recovery. Growing pains :D I have also been twisting and bending the branches down daily. Some good constant growth starting to show. Looking thicc and main stem root peeling like a snake daily. The soil is staying moist, sticking to RO water. One change I made, breaking my less is more mantra a little.... I had the light turning on at 8am, shutting off at 2am. I changed that one hour at a time to shut off at 8am, turn on at 2pm now. 8am-2pm is the hottest part of the day for my grow room due to the sun. This allows for lights off at the hottest natural time of the day in my home, and end light cycle at one of the coolest natural times of the day.

GrowWithTheFlow710 Saw some explosive growth this week. Some signs of preflower. The broken stem plant is very stressed, while the other is thriving. Did first round of defoliation, went a tad overboard perhaps. Going to try and do a minor lollipop once I get some small buds going. Starting adding some silica blast for stem strength, fish shit for soil microbial life, and sugars to help nutrient intake. RO water, having to PH down to 6-6.5 now that I'm using the silica blast. Stopped the sns209, no signs of pests. Added another fan (total 3) and bug catcher (total 2). *I am growing 4 plants here, but only tracking one.

GrowWithTheFlow710 Less is more, less is more, keep it simple. The ability to overthink such a simple thing (grow a plant) is absurd! All my plants are on different schedules, somewhat my fault, somewhat nature. But that's just fine with me. That's what the trellis and some adjustments can help with right? Day 43 Tilted light since corner plant is stretching and added trellis. Thought this would be a quick from watching youtube videos and I was wrong. Took my s/o and I about an hour to set it all up, crawl under, fix, repeat. Cut out the silica this week, will pick it up again next week. Noticed some light burn/tacoing of leaves. Unsure of my actual light power, I spent six dollars to use the full spectrum LED light meter with the "Photone" app. I saw it reviewed on Migro's channel. PPFD is awesome to read but I think I need to also invest in a co2 meter, soil moisture meter, and possibly a better ph pen. Currently using that $20 yellow one + drops to double check ph and no co2 meter. I hear co2 is the last thing a new grower should worry about but after listening to Dr Bruce Bugbee lectures, I learned co2 is highly important when calculating maximum ppfd you can throw at a plant.

GrowWithTheFlow710 Still just water for now, starting to see the frosty come through. Getting much cooler weather now so this helps keep the plants for hitting the high 70s it was earlier. Still drinking about a half a gallon a day. Entire house smells like skunk! I have an AC infinity 8inch carbon filter with pre filter :D Citrus smell, mild gassy-ness. *I am growing 4 plants here, but only tracking one.

GrowWithTheFlow710 Did a top watering this week with some nutes added. Then back to plain RO water in the SIP. Seeing some light burn so lowered the PAR from avg 650 to 550. Tried a Co2 canister but without a proper lung room for this 10 x 5, it was pretty useless. Really getting into this hobby, love the abundance of free knowledge and different techniques available. Starting to resent those who I see bragging about "trade secrets". I've been spending more time in hash making discords, hash making twitch streams, and grower instagrams. It never ceases to amaze me what we can learn for free with some motivation and the internet. *I am growing 4 plants here, but only tracking one.

GrowWithTheFlow710 Back to plain water, seeing some foxtailing and I love it. Dense dense nugs are no good for making hash I hear. My s/o and I are super excited to get her harvested and squished but am waiting for the 20% amber to chop. Thanks for the feedback on harvest time indicators. PLEASE COMMENT your go-to method/indicators for harvest time! Would love to see if everyone solely depends on trichombes or other methods such as pistils or leaves. *I am growing 4 plants here, but only tracking one.

GrowWithTheFlow710 Long time extractor, first time growing (both s/o and myself). Already starting the next grow. This was one plant/pheno in a 4x4 sharing a 600w light @ 75% or less the entire time. Only tracking ONE PLANT this harvest but for reference - we pulled just over a lb dry weight total from all 4. End dry weight - Buds: 104 grams - Sugar Trim - 35 grams End flower rosin - 14.5 grams (1st press) - 1.2 grams (2nd press) [Press 96 grams] ~15% yield (not great but expected from autoflower) Chopped a little earlier than desired (10/70/20 amber/cloudy/clear profile) due to a scare of a nanner. Being new growers, we recently learned we could have plucked the nanner off and let it flower another couple weeks. Dried branches at 65-70f/55-60rh for 7 days then stored in grove bags until pressed in 37u micron bag, ~180f, 2.5min.
