Added a little 19-19-19 fertilizer. It's been 4 weeks. Looks decent I guess. Added CFL today and reduced plant distance from light.

Since youre using cfl at 8 in distance that's pretty good, have you put your hand at plant level and see if it gets too hot after 15-30 seconds? If so the light needs moved. You say you reduced lamp distance...did the curl happen before or after that change? If none of this applies I'd say look into your watering ways, overwater can do a curl at this early stages. If it curled under I'd say the nutrients. Try looking into those various things, light, heat, and watering. Do each thing 1 at a time so you'll know the culprit. Best of luck, the plants at least look very green and healthy, slight curl included. Oh ps. Being in a space bucket, you'll want to be checking the heat and humidity fairly often. Those small areas tend to be affected more by temp/ humidity due to the confined space.

Hello @Borat420! That's a heat stress. Raise your lamp a little bit and it will be ok. Happy growing! 👊

basically these ladies are fine, they're surviving but when they grow they get closer to the light and it stresses them. just inch your light slightly away for a bit, but beyond that i wouldn t change much, maybe put some zym to prevent root rot if you're nervous about that. Usually root rot doesn't happen so early on, but it depends on the wet dry cycle too... Looks healthy other than that, sometimes the new leaves look curled as they are growing out, too. Enjoy ! 🚀

Hi @Borat420! This looks like a heat-stress, in this situation I'd try to decrease the daytime temperature a bit and/or increase the light-plant distance. I think she's reacting to the CFL you added, so raise up the light and give it a few days to adapt to her new environment, if you react quickly she should be fine. Hope this will help, keep us up-to-date and happy growing 👊

Um...Borat....i just went through the diary from week 1. Is that tin foil wrapped in the 1st pics? Or mylar? Cause if its foil...thats known to cause bad heat pockets and burn plants.

@Experimentgreen, Its mylar

Hello ! Is that the same bucket as for your Red poison ? Did the red poison took the Green Crack place ?

@OutForReal, Yes bro. The red poison died. Forgot to check grow diaries. Will check reviews of the community properly on this one.

Hello ! Could be heat stress due to the size of the bucket / could be roots problesm due to the soil (your seedling start slowly) / could also be extreme humidity as your bucket is small ans the heat + water creat an environment with high humidity ! But check that link out it is explained better than I would do https://www.growweedeasy.com/serrated-edges-curling-up Hope it will help you 👍😁 and I'm happy to see that you did not gave up

Soil looks very very dry, you have no perlite, I’d check ph and honestly with that kind of dry soil I doubt the water soaked through.. that’s why I don’t like soil... did you have any water run off? If I were you I’d change the entire growing medium..

Try fox farms ocean forest, mix about 30% perlite. Or you can go with coco coir and perlite mix. You don’t have to worry much about overwatering with coco and you can fix nute deficiencies or burn fairly quickly and coco grows very very fast during veg like hydroponics.

Hi there! I think that your soil is too clayish, too compact, better soil will help I think and at least little bit of nitrogen. Good luck!

Maybe overwatered I only mist the surface for first 2 weeks. No perlite in the soil ? Looks a bit solid and not great drainage I would say. Also it’s good too add a layer of seedling mix at the top so it’s not too hot for the seedling and it can grow into the hotter mix later on. Otherwise access to full strength nutes from the start can burn it.
