All things looking happy and growing quickly. Not much has changed this week.. still waiting to see definitive pistils but so far not seeing any, by the looks of the stacking in the photos it should be any day now that the pistils pop. Simply watering when the top soil is feeling dry and keeping up with defoliation once or twice a week.

Grow Questions

Only on 1 of 3 plants so far. On older growth after getting dose of Recharge the other day. Maybe an N problem as I also use 484? Or mag? Using CalMag every other watering in RO at 150ppm as the soil has some cal and mag. Also getting close to top dress time maybe something else?

Looks like early signs of a deficiency creeping in.. seeing as your using CalMag already i would say use it every feed but dont over go over the dose, I would add a NPK booster when in flower just to top up the other areas and see how she goes, Best of luck 🌱

Was doing research and what I found was either P excess, low humidity levels, light stress.. or just the Savita genetics? The plants are all in good health, growing fast and do not show any signs of deficiency aside from the skinny leaves forming. PH is fine, its living soil..

This is completely normal for some strains and quite common when flowering. It is thought that growing narrow leaves in flowering makes it easier for pollen to "find" the femalw flower pistils and aid in fertilization. It is not a nutrient, pH, temperature, humigity or lighting issue, just a normal occurence and nothing to worry about. I have grown dozens and dozens of plants that have done this exact thing when flowering and have come to expect it. Your plant is fine, there are no issues to be concerned over regarding the narrow leaves in flowering, it is a genetic function. Hope this helps, Organoman.

Always pops up around the same time in flower.. week 4/5. Brown irregular spots and occasional curling down on the fan leaves. The only things I have consistently used in all the grows is the LED light, RO water, and CALiMAGic. Switched to dry organics but now its back. N toxic?

Nitrogen toxicity......... Rose and Flower Mix is for...........roses! For flowering cannabis you need something low in nitrogen, moderate phosophorous and high potassium.......everything "Rose and Flower Mix" is not. Get some cannabis specific nutrients and you will never have nutrition problems again....... Remember too, in soil it is a schedule of plain water/plain water/feed/plain water/plain water/feed........ Cal/mag is not the answer to EVERYTHING and adding liquid gypsum constantly will mess with pH too. There are further issues able to be caused by too much calcium btw.

@AsNoriu, ah I see that would make sense. I was having problems finding info on N toxicity causing the spotting without running into something saying it points to Cal deficiency but I feel like I've given them plenty of calcium.. and I have the exact same problem. I cannot get Gaia Green here in the US anywhere so I went with what I am using now.. Down To Earth 444 and 484 as they were the most comparable to Gaia Green All Purpose and Power Bloom but now I think the 484 may be to much N obviously or the calmag with on top of it is the issue. Ill try dropping the ph as well as cutting out the Calmag for now at least a couple flushes of ph'd water and see how they respond. I was close to getting BioBizz but I want to get away from the multiple bottle thing. Will finish off this grow with the 484 but maybe get something else for the next run.

@ElevenSixty6, excessive Nitrogen blocks absorption of calcium, thats fact. RO water - you do all good. I was going to go dry amendments way a lot earlier, but could not find GAJA GREEN in UK, so finally found decent alternatives, taught 3 my friends how to grow with EcoThrive line, but was asked to move out and had big stock, so was just finishing BioBizz stash. And yes, either its my own placebo, either i became better grower ( despite not adjusting pen and putting for few waterings wrong pH even in my last grow ;))) ) or i am right. I felt 6.3 with my setup was sweet spot. I was 6.4-6.5 man before, sometimes doing fluctations 6.2-6.8, but always something was happening ... keeping it stable was bringing nice results ... Easy math, no ? btw GreatWhite by Planet Success and BioSys by EcoThrive , both top dressed every 10 days or so brought my harvest weights and plant root system to new levels.

Using calmag in such low doses is best way i found, but i still was going with feed/water/water/feed/water/water schedule normally, sometimes changing into feed/water/feed/water if they looked hungry. They look like they would love more food. Happy Growing !

@ElevenSixty6, we cant get Gaja green in uk, so i was using ecothrive products, with them you have to feed almost 3 weeks before, slow release idea , needs good planing, but very easy style of grow. You see best and true colours, you know, to me it looked like, that's why i said. Enjoy the Grow !

@AsNoriu, yeah potentially.. was already planning on top dressing with the next watering as its obviously time.. Although they are still growing very quickly despite the issue not sure that they're totally starved wasn't long ago they got a top dressing maybe just the lighting under the LED makes it appear more yellow than they truly are but they will be getting more than last time as we head into flower I'm sure as you said, they will need some more real food or at least more than what they have..

@ElevenSixty6,they look food hungry, not calmag, its more prevention, i had good grows without 1ml of calmag, but had hick ups with too intense led lights, so feeding small good way. BUT your girls being pretty and big, need more food, real food, champ food ;) i love pale green, but yours already on the verge of hunger.
