First time growing photos. I current started them off in solo cups but am debating to go to 1 gallon pots or directly to my 5 gallon. I’m siding with 1 gallons since I have a heavy watering hand and am new. What’s everyone’s thoughts?
I recommend going with 1 gallon and then moving up to 5 gallons later. It will help you get the hang of figuring out when your plants need watered and transplanted. Sure, it's more work. But, the more practice you get in on things like that, the faster you will dial them in, kind of like muscle memory.

Depending on how much veg you wanna give to them! If you want add 1-2 weeks of veg, go to 5 gallons, if you want to play and try some scrog, you can go 3 for 3-4 weeks, than 5 gallonsto flowering.
But , my advice, go directy 5 and try some lst :)
Good luck with your 1st run. This finished mine. They have converted me completely. Only dne 3 last time and 12 autos. Now doing 8 and 6 autos and only doing auros cause they CBDs mainly. Hope you enjoy it aw much as I did. Good luck
