Had to leave her for a week and came back to her buds having grown massively. I noticed the leaves turned dry and brown and 2 browns spots on the main cola and another. Unsure if this is possible bud rod.

When should I start feeding my plant? She is a good 3 weeks in now. Do you think I can start or should I wait a bit longer for auto flower?

This is the perfect time to add some nutes for an autoflower - but only 1/4-1/2 the recommended dose as you need to see how she's going to tolerate them. And I also add in bloom nutes along with the grow nutes at this stage as well! Bloom nutes, with their minor amount of nitrogen, will not harm the plant and will get it ready for pre-flower which you should be in shortly. It's all going to depend on how your plants react to the nute line you've chosen... Just be aware that too much nitrogen will cause a lot of problems further on... Good luck!

She’s looking pretty healthy. Maybe avoid the nutes and start in with a quick tea. That’s my go-to for autos in the pre-flower stage. I like Cultured Biologix bloom tea right here. Good luck ✌️🏻💚🌿💨

I would definitely start now! And as Yoshi said, start small. 50% of whatever the manufacturer of your nutes says to do at this stage! Good luck!

Top leaves starting to discolor. I had issues with lower leaves discolouring yellow and dying which seems to have solved now that I started feeding pk yay. I only noticed a few days ago the top leaves are discolouring too. Is this a result of pk deficiency too or something else?

Is this bud rod or normal colouring on wedding cheesecake?

Yeah bud rot don’t pull on the buds as the dry parts will make the spores airborne you need to have a fan blowing the tops and get humidity to at least 55% or less. Cut all the affect parts out and throw them parts straight out and get a fan blowing the tops at least.

Do you recommend a dark cycle before harvest? If so for how long? Currently I'm flushing her and getting ready for harvest.

No, I do not believe in this "ghetto science". Extended darkness just causes a plants' metabolism to almost stop, and a plant with an almost stopped metabolism can not support healthy trichomes or prevent the break down of THC. Why anybody would want to stress their plants right before harvest and after weeks/months of careful cultivation is beyond my comprehension! Harvest a happy, healthy and unstressed plant after a normal routine of normal sleep and your buds will be at their peak and forget about the "extended darkness technique" BS would be my advice. This whole myth about extended darkness came from one study whereby one plant showed a miniscule increase in THC levels (and all the others a decrease) and was not repeatable or 100% effective in 100% of all cases. However, "bro science" picked up on this one anomaly and through the magic of the internet, a new "technique" was born. The fact that it does not work doesn't seem to matter, people just follow it blindly without ever questioning it. As they say......."why let the truth get in the way of a good story?".

Hey.. your plant is at the exact same point where mine was when she needed FE (Iron).. YOUR Npk is solid. Don't mind them past answers your were given. Look at this and you'll see it. growdiaries.com/diaries/141736-grow-journal-by-gottagrowsometime/week/793749 1st pick. This was a bit after I had it sorted days, I think, can't remember. But, I know 100% its nothing got to do with NPK. it's Iron, ruderails need it, (its the thing in autos that make them flip themselves) these need things like Iron and micro nutes. Marco nutrients are core NPk. Which yours are all perfect. I can't see anything on your list that had FE (iron)..I use sensi cal mag extra. You have to be very careful with that using it with grow. As it has N in it. And it could be locking you out by N overdose. But, its not showing up that way yet, as she's craving Iron. Good luck pal.
