FreddySpaghetti Welcome back everyone!!
Here I am with a new diary finally!!
This time I chose the Purple Queen from RQS because I've always been attracted to the "purple" qualities.
For germination, I used the usual wet paper towel method, and just after two days, the little roots appeared, so I moved them to a small pot with soil.
The soil used is Biobizz Light Mix, and I enriched it with RQS Easy Boost and a small amount of Mycorrhiza to start off strong.
See you at the next update!
Stay Tuned!!

FreddySpaghetti Welcome back, everyone!
The little seeds have finally sprouted, unfortunately not on the same day, so one seedling is 3 days older than the other, but it doesn't matter much.
For those reading my diary for the first time, I have a grow room on my balcony, so unfortunately I can't manage the temperature and humidity parameters as well as I'd like. Summer isn't over yet, so I've started giving the girls a bit of silica to help them grow sturdier for the high temperatures that keep sticking around.
I water them once every 2 days, but there's still Easy Boost and mycorrhiza in the soil.
I think the first weeks are really nice; you can see how quickly they grow every day.
For now, I'll leave you. See you next week!!
Stay tuned!!

FreddySpaghetti Welcome back!!
The girls are doing great, this week I started giving them nutrients for the vegetative stage. I think I'll start training next week.
The conditions are optimal, it seems like the heat is starting to fade.
See you next time!

I moved the girls into a bigger pot so they can expand their roots nicely, of course, all seasoned with a pinch of mycorrhiza.
After two days they seemed to be doing well, so I did the first topping.
I took two clones, we'll see if they survive!!
Stay tuned!1

FreddySpaghetti Welcome back!
This week I started by transferring the girls straight into their final pot since I’ll have a week full of commitments.
As soon as they were transferred, they seem to have exploded!
I did a bit of defoliation and mainlining to help the girls develop evenly, and it seems like they’re really responding well!!
The clones seem to be surviving!
Stay tuned!!!

FreddySpaghetti Hey everyone!!
It's been a week since they've been in their final pots and they're adapting great, the girls are growing right before my eyes!!
The clones are showing signs of good rooting, they've started to develop the new stage of leaves.. keep it up!!
For the first time, I've decided to try my hand at the SCROG technique, we'll see if I can pull it off.
Stay tuned!!

FreddySpaghetti Welcome back everyone!!
This week I focused on improving the SCROG net, unfortunately having non-standard measurements I had to improvise to modify it and give it a skeleton to keep it nice and tight.
It's the first time I'm doing this type of training so we'll see how it goes. The girls seem to be adapting very well in the meantime, filling all the spaces nicely.
The clones are growing very quickly.
From what I see, I think I'll wait another couple of weeks to give them time to fill all the spaces properly and then I'll put them into flowering.
As for the nutrients, I give half a tablet of Easy Grow Booster Tablets from RQS dissolved in 3 liters of water every 3 days.
We'll see how it all turns out!!
Stay tuned!!

Finally, the girls are adapting well to the SCROG net.. I think as soon as the clones reach the height of the net, I’ll switch the lights to flowering. Soon.
Of the two phenotypes, it seems that the one on the right is more lush.
The girls' nutrition is still the same, so far they are responding well. Every now and then I give a light defoliation.
Stay tuned!!

FreddySpaghetti Hey guys, welcome back!!
The clones have reached the height of the net, so it's time for flowering!!
Just a few days in and they've all started to grow taller. In just a few days, the clones have outgrown the girls.
I'll keep the same nutrients until they finish growing in height. As soon as they stop growing and flowering starts well, I'll defoliate everything under the net to promote air circulation.
Stay tuned!!

FreddySpaghetti Hey everyone!!
The girls are starting to develop well. The spaces are nicely filled.
I did some defoliation of everything below the net.
Last week with this nutrient regimen, I'll be changing the nutrients next week.
The clones are growing like crazy, they've already surpassed the girls a bit.
Stay tuned!!

Among the two girls, the one on the left is growing a bit less vigorously.
The flowers have appeared!! Nutrient change completed!
The flowers are developing really well, every day they're turning more and more purple!! The genetic traits are coming out.
The girls seem to be reacting very well to the new nutrition. Let's hope the buds turn out nice and big and dense!!
Stay tuned!!

The girls are doing great!! They are growing wonderfully and the smell gets more pronounced every day.
You can notice the difference between the two phenotypes both in pigmentation and in the shape of the buds.
By now, the tips are covered in delicious trichomes that are still tending to be transparent, just a couple more weeks to let them mature well!
Stay tuned!

This past week the leaves have started to turn yellow, the girls are getting ready for their swan song and are moving all nutrients towards the flowers.
The smell has become very strong.
For maintenance, I just remove the falling leaves and nothing else.

We've entered the second to last week... starting this week I've removed all nutrients and am just giving water.
The leaves are slowly changing color. The trichomes are starting to darken.
As you can see, there are differences in color shades between the two phenotypes. Unfortunately, neither of the girls is completely purple.
Stay tuned!!!

GENETIC
La genetica è ottima. RQS ovviamente sempre infallibile nella ricerca delle migliori genetiche. Quindi grazie e continuate l'ottimo lavoro che state già facendo.

FreddySpaghetti As for the harvest, the buds look full of shiny trichomes.
85g yield isn't bad. So far, the smell is pretty good, but we'll see at the end of the curing!!

Looking forward..RQS sending me everything you got. With their new milky way F1 version.. what soil do you think would be best. Light mix or a mix of both. All mix and light.....or can I use 50coco 50 light mix soil?
@gottagrowsometime, RQS is always a great choice!! I use light mix or canna terra professional. The choice of the soil's type depend from your temperature and humidity condition, remember that the nutrient change from soil to coco. Personally i prefer to use soil. If u use the mix soil+coco let me know if it works!!
Happy growing!!
