Orange sherbet 2nd time round. I really liked this strain last time, delivery problem with my new extractor, it should be here in the next few days. I've got 2 running doing the job at the min, will be using one of those for an intake fan when the new one arrives.
Orange sherbet. This is the fastest growing of the 6 I've started off with, I've gotta give fast buds credit there. The plants always start of quite rapid. 2nd time with orange sherbet I got nearly 6 oz from 2 last time. So if I get half of that from this one I'll be delighted. This is day 12 I've uploaded it, a little early I know but I've had to raise my light as I was getting some light burn on some other plants. This one will be ready for being trained soon before the net goes in.
Today is day 21. I started lst last week, I've grown this strain before and she really likes being trained. Perfect for someone who enjoys training.
I've also started them on some sensi grow a&b I'll work up to 1ml/l before switching to bloom. Ive been altering with b52, as ive been usuing superthrive more than b52 recently it is quite concentrated so imo its best to alter feeds with b52. With 1ml b52 and .25ml a&b ppm was at 170
As the pics show, ive had a real enjoyable week with this sherbet. Day 21 today next feed will go up to .5ml grow. By the start of week 5 i should of switched up to bloom with this lass
This week has flown by with this girl. Going into preflower well before any of the others in the tent. I wasn't intending to top this one but as I was trying to pin in down I snapped the top off oh well lol. Responded to it great, I've been tying down all the big branches and have been rewarded with a serious amount of flower sites popping off everywhere.
Added some plant magic calmag on day 27, I'll use this solution and then switch this girl onto bloom nutrients.
This week has flew by and sherbet has taken a big leap into flower. I'm certain she could take alot more lst but I'm running out of room atm already I don't want to piss anything else off when this is already a monster.
Week 5. Changed to flower nutes. BioBizz this time bloom and topmax, also have given some calmag as a treat. Nirvana and rhino skin have been given also.
Today is day 35. Given a dose of water.
Day 42 we have reached the end of the stretch period and she's as we expected as absolute monster.
Upped the bloom nutes pulled a few branches out to free some light up in the middle. Took a few branches off from the bottom of the plant. Again this girl for how quick she grows can catch you off guard it did last time this time I've been more prepared. All she's gotta do now is fatten up over the next few few weeks.
End of week 6.
Upped the top max and bloom slightly this week.
This plant is huge, I cannot believe how big this thing has become. Lucky I know she's fast and will only take up another 4 weeks at most. Day 72 I chopped on last time. I think this may go over that but all is good. Week 12 will be the week of Xmas. May get an early Xmas present.
Another week goes by and this girl has started to fatten up nicely. Got a nice layer of crystals starting to form that hopefully become as sticky as they were last time I did these.
I've upped the bloom and and top max. I'll keep using big bud all the way till flush. I've been thinking up until this last week that this and the 2 glue will be done at the same time but looking at them now we can see there will be couple of weeks between them with those ready to be flushed in the next few days. These will be getting fed for another couple of weeks yet before flush. May go 12 weeks or more this one.
Last week of feed, then flush. I last did this strain with the old hps bulb. This has got some light burn from the led, lesson learnt. Still hoping to get a good yeild from her. I may let her go a little longer than last time, will be starting to flush her this next week anyway.
Friend, look at the leaves. they have teeth on them and the leaf buckles, she gets a little more light than she can absorb. extra light prevents her from eating and she may eat less than she could under ideal conditions. She may be stressed by bright lights. I would recommend raising the lamp a bit.
Also, spots have already appeared on the leaves, the primary reason is light. She looks slightly hungry as she is not eating well due to stress. But you don’t need to increase the power, I would just raise the light higher.
@franc, cheers for pointing this out. This is only my 2nd grow with led, I was getting concerned that the orange bud were also getting some light burn but I wasn't certain. I'll raise the light tonight.
@Aldo90, well it definitely looks like you know what your doing, they are definitely looking nice and healthy and sum this girls lol, if you get a chance could you take a look at my updated grow idk what’s happening to my seedling yellowish spots and leaves clawing up
@ZoobZoob_farmZ, appreciated mate, good strain from fast buds. Had to do alot of pruning the bottoms off bud the bud is nice and dense. What more can we ask lol.
@Le_Duc_Du_Bud, she's going to be a monster this one. She's also very fast. Northern lights is indica dominant, this is sativa dominant. As you can see it's got big tall long branches. Smells amazing already, candy and citrus scents.
@Civicgrows, cheers pal. Really fast one also. I've got some Dutch passion orange bud sprouted on the same day and they are still in veg. If anyone's looking for a fast turn around this strain ticks that box.
