Welcome readers to a new diary of an amazing strain called AMG. It's one of my favorites strain to smoke. This in particular is highly rated in the coffeshops and considered a daily driver.
I'm growing it for the 2nd time since the first batch was quite small and I almost ran out of it.
The seed germinated after 48 hours in paper towel and then I have planted it into 11L plastic pots
She sattled in nicely and first set of leafs are showing up. Currently she is on water regiment, once she will show 3 to 4 set of leafs I will add some nutes
This week is very important for the plant. She got topped trimmed lst and mainlined. The following 2 weeks will be similar in style. I want to get to two main branches that are long enough to reach the sides of the bucket
From baby to boom she tripled in size and shows pre flowers. I want to keep her in veg for 3 more weeks and then flip her. She is shaped like a mushroom 😂🍄
I have injured the amg in the start of the grow by stretching her so she is lopsided as well. I have a bad luck with this strain which is shame since I love it
Last month was dedicated to traveling and spending time with my loved ones. this meant that the plants will be usually with automatic feeding and almost no care at all.
this always presents certain challenges...
1. Did i program the frequency of the water good enough?
2. Will the PH stay balanced on point?
3. will something fail that was never calculated as failure?
there are many unknowns to and i'm aware that the crop can die/get hurt/wont produce what i expect it to.
with that said when i came back after the 2 weeks of vacation the plants looked healthy and happy, though bushy. I could not trim and defoliate them due to the scrog net and the next flight.
After returning from the vacation of the vacation it was time to get to work.
today the 3rd week of flowering will start and its a good time to clean them up, perform top dressing and water them.
Wrapped up week 6 of flowering I think couple of more weeks and we are golden. I might push this guys bit more until the other tent is done and chop down three plants in one go. Then I'll have the small tent for the single flower and run 2 more autos
This was last week of flowering and she is choped down and starting to get dry.
She didn't produce much, same as last time. Very larfy buds and some medium sized. Very sticky plant and I love smoking it.
AMG is a Sativa dominant strain. As such it keeps my mind very cool but buzzed. This allows me to function throughout the day and I consider it a daily driver weed.
With 22% THC its a hard hitter and highly unrecommended to new smokers, unless they micro doze. After 3-4 puffs the mind gets separated from the body and takes on a road to creativity, exploration and deep-self understanding of the daily tasks ahead.
As I take the 1st puffs I feel unstoppable today and I dive in the rabbit hole of my job and life. read something complicated and actually understand it? be super accurate in a game that I usually fuck up? edit a video for some random task I gave myself? Let's go!
Its great for day-to-day work specially when wanting to be a slight more creative.. Turning up Spotify and typing some reviews on this strain right now...
Based on the official notes it should not be smoked during the day. and its mentioned that the euphoric sensation is strong. I have to disagree on this one.
She grew without any issues, fed her with bio nutrients and reached medium height. the flowers were relatively small and spaced out between themselves. this is quite common for Sativa dominant plant.
This is my 2nd run with this strain and I gotten better growing it -- I was able to produce more dry product this time around.
