~ Auto Think Big®️ by Dutch Passion ~ Think Different XXL selection Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together cultivating Dutch Passion's Autoflowering version of their outstanding Skywalker Haze along with three other incredible autoflowers from Dutch Passion that I'm running separately, so buckle up and hold on! This will be a wild ride for sure! I've wanted to grow this strain for some time now and finally have an opportunity to see what I can do with it, and I've germinated two so double the fun! "Auto Think Big is a unique autoflower that originated from our world-famous Auto Think Different. It will therefore not surprise you that in terms of terpenes, this strain shows similarities with our Auto Think Different. Although some Auto Think Big phenotypes may have a similar terpene profile, she is usually slightly different in smell and taste to her parent. In general, Auto Think Big has a fruity, citrus-dominant aroma with mainly floral and sweet notes. She can also smell a bit creamy and pine-like. In terms of taste, she leans most towards citrus, lime and frankincense. When you smoke her in a joint or consume her with a vape, you will immediately taste her fruity sweet flavors. On both the inhale and exhale you can experience a strong citrus taste that reminds you of the zest of a lemon. If you're looking for yields that can easily yield between 1-2g/watt, this is the one for you." ** **Credit- Dutch Passion.com ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~ Grown in 15L Gronest geotextile pots filled with Mother Earth Grow 70/30 Coco/Perlite with Xtreme Gardening Mykos added. ~ Seeds were germinated directly in the medium without any 'pre-soak' ~ Seeds were planted three days before the Full Moon (Waning Gibbons) and sprouted within 72hrs, on the Full Moon. ~ Feeding will be by Lotus Nutrients (first time using) ~ 24hr light cycle while germinating ~ 20/4 light cycle after first leaves appear. ~ 4x8 Gorilla Tent ~ HLG 650R w/ 30w Supplemental UVA Bar controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. (also a HLG Blackbird for additional side lighting if necessary) ~ Supplemental co2 controlled by an AutoPilot APC 8200 co2 controller ~ AC Infinity Cloudline T6 with Controller 67 using a Terrabloom 6x24" carbon filter ~ De-Humidifier and Humidifier when needed. ~ 14k BTU IdealAir portable A/C unit plumbed into tent for temperature control. ~ BlueLab testing instruments ~ Two Hurricane 18" oscillating fans ~ Two 6" Clip-on fans ~ Two 10" floor mounted fans ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Update: 12/16- Week Seven of flower is here and both of these ladies are looking breathtaking!😍 Since they were both watered yesterday and they were both still pretty heavy, I skipped watering today and just turned their pots. The tent environment remains on point. Temperatures with 'lights on' are running 72-74℉/'Lights off' 68-70℉ with a RH of 38-44% which is maintaining good VPD numbers ranging between 0.78kPa to 1.15kPa. I'm currently running the lights @ 60% power which is giving leaf temp's of 74-77℉ (very important to keep leaf temperatures below 80℉ as higher temperatures can affect transpiration). 12/18- Yesterday, when I checked the trichomes on both the #1 is getting really close with the majority of her trichomes milky now with about 10% clear and I'm just now starting to see a couple of amber ones show. By Christmas she'll be ready to go dark for 48-72hrs before she's cut and hung to begin the drying/curing process. The #2 pheno is close as well, but not quite as far along as her sister with 15% of her trichomes still clear and just a few amber one's showing so I'll keep monitoring her to determine the ideal time to harvest her. Today they were both watered both to runoff with 73℉ well water that has a base 100ppm which I ph'd to 6.4 I also turned each of their pots 1/4 turn. 12/20- Both of these ladies are right on the cusp of being perfect! Due to family obligations, I'm going to have to wait until the day after Christmas to harvest which is 3-4 days longer than I'd like but this will be good for me to build patience. It's ALWAYS tempting to want to harvest as soon as your plants are looking perfect to you but, I've found waiting another week or so ALWAYS brings great results... So I'll patiently wait and enjoy Christmas with family! 🎄❄️ Today they were watered to runoff with 72℉ well water that has a base 100ppm which I ph'd to 6.5. I also turned each of their pots 1/4 turn. 12/22- Can you believe SEVEN WEEKS of flower has passed??? These girls are looking so incredibly tasty, I can't wait to get them into their 48-72hrs in the dark so they can get chopped and hung to begin the drying/curing process! I let both dry out yesterday and only turned their pots. Today they were both watered both to runoff with 73℉ well water that has a base 100ppm which I ph'd to 6.4 I also turned each of their pots 1/4 turn.
